Chapter 1 - Meet The Angels

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Welcome to the tragic life story of yours truly," Sun whispered to himself as he stood outside his new house, looking around in disappointment.

He wasn't thrilled about suddenly leaving his family and moving to a new place, but, unfortunately, no one cared about his opinion.

Sun adjusted his hair when he saw a cute girl coming out of the house next door and was about to walk toward her—but suddenly, someone shoved him aside.

Sun glared angrily at the person, ready to shout—but froze when he noticed the man glaring back. Sun took a cautious step back and bowed while pointing toward the door. "My lord, first," he said.

The person snorted, and the two others behind him snickered.

"Scaredy-cat," one of them whispered to Sun before heading inside.

These three people weren't ordinary people, they were the three angels who had descended to Earth and broke the curse that had plagued Sun's family for generations.

His family had been cursed: every firstborn suffered from terrible luck, and many didn't live past forty.

Sun was unlucky, very unlucky. He was like a magnet for trouble: losing exam hall tickets, shoes breaking, birds… well, you know. Beaten by kids, bad accidents—he had seen it all. Being the firstborn, he had the worst luck in generations.

But one day, when Sun was nine, everything changed. It felt like a curse had lifted when these three angels appeared.

His entire family adored the angels so much that sometimes Sun wondered if his parents wished they could trade him for them.

He stole a glance at the oldest, Chamuel, before quickly looking away when he caught him staring. Then he turned to the second eldest, Jophiel, standing next to Chamuel.

"This place is so small!" Jophiel complained dramatically, making everyone roll their eyes.

The youngest, Raphael, had already gone upstairs to pick a room. Sun sighed and muttered, "It all started when my great-great-great-great… great-grandfather met my great-great-grandmother. They fell in love and…"

"Don't make me laugh. It wasn't love—it was lust! That stupid angel slept with your grandmother and had a family!" Chamuel interrupted.

"So, young boys and girls, use protection! Otherwise, you'll end up like him," Jophiel added playfully, wrapping an arm around Sun.

Chamuel was right. Sun's great-great-grandfather had been an angel who abandoned Heaven for love—or whatever you want to call it.

"Can you two stop talking about my family history?" Sun demanded, glaring at Jophiel.

"You started it! I'm just stating facts," Jophiel replied.

"Will you two shut up?!" Chamuel bellowed, silencing everyone—including Raphael, who came downstairs in fear.

Chamuel, also known as Rain, was the boss everyone feared—even Jophiel (whose human name was Key). Raphael, or Felix, didn't dare oppose Rain either; he was the breadwinner of the group.

How did three angels end up on Earth instead of enjoying Heaven's luxuries? That, Sun thought, was a chaotic story for another day. In short, mischief, rebellion, and a little bad timing had landed them here.

Everyone straightened up and saluted Rain. He looked satisfied before opening a bag and rummaging through it.

"I'm going to contact the agent for the housekeeper. Until then, you three will clean this place and make it presentable," Rain ordered sharply, daring anyone to oppose him.

Sun smiled brightly. Finally, he wouldn't have to clean alone. He nodded at Key and Felix smugly.

"Holy… Jesus Christ! Baby! Why me?! You know this isn't my thing!" Key wailed.

"Didn't I tell you not to curse?!" Rain snapped at Key, who tried to cover, "I mean… suck?"

Sun and Felix chuckled but quickly turned serious when Rain glared at them.

Key pouted, grabbing Rain's hand and pressing his head to his shoulder. "Please take me with you! I promise I'll behave!"

Sun and Felix were about to protest, but Rain interrupted, "Fine. It's not safe leaving all three of you alone."

Key screamed in joy and rushed out, leaving Rain to roll his eyes.

"I want this place clean by the time we get back," Rain warned Sun and Felix. Both saluted.

Felix smirked and tossed a broom at Sun. "Like Rain said—clean! "

"Wait! You're not helping?!" Sun asked, stunned as Felix stretched lazily upstairs.

"Yes! I'm letting you take all the credit," Felix replied.

"Bastard! Taking advantage of me! May he rot in—" Sun muttered under his breath.

Felix suddenly appeared in front of him, grinning wickedly, making Sun jump.

"Cursing an angel will land you in more bad luck. You're already unlucky," Felix warned. "Now, tidy up!"

Sun groaned and began cleaning. "Rain better find a housekeeper, or I'll be dead…"

He paused, staring at the wall, and whispered, "You must be wondering how I ended up here with these… people, right? Well…"

"Who are you talking to?" Felix called, looking around the empty room in confusion.
