Chapter 1 - ONE PIECE :AGEOF NEW PIRATES

Chapter: 1

"The Boy Who Dreams of Becoming a Sky Pirate"

The world had changed. The era of the Grand Line's most legendary figures—the Four Emperors, the World's Strongest Man, and the Pirate King—was a generation ago. A new age had dawned, bringing with it new admirals, new warlords, and new emperors. And with them came new types of Devil Fruits and new dreams.

In the South Blue, on a small island, lay a town called Sunflower. Life here was simple, filled with the quiet rhythms of daily life. But one boy was a constant disruption to that peace. His name was Leo, a mischievous 17-year-old with a shock of white hair and bright, blue eyes. A natural troublemaker, he always had a mischievous grin on his face, no matter what kind of chaos he caused. He didn't dream of sailing the sea; in fact, the sight of a boat made him sick. Leo's ultimate goal was to become a "Sky King," to captain a ship that could fly through the clouds, far from the churning waves below.

Days later, the peaceful town of Sunflower was shattered by the arrival of the Wolf Pirates, a notorious crew led by Captain Miles. Their bounty was a hefty 27 million berries, enough to make the town's local Marine officer flee in fear. Captain Miles gave his orders to his crew of over thirty men: "Capture all the women and children! Kill anyone who resists!"

The town burned as the Wolf Pirates pillaged everything in sight. The women and children were taken captive, destined to be sold into slavery or forced to serve as crew members. Leo, an orphan, was among them. He was beaten by the pirates, especially the vice-captain, Ali. For their entertainment, Leo was forced to clean the ship, a silent fury burning in his chest. "One day," he thought to himself, "I'll get my revenge on the Wolf Pirates and Captain Miles."

The other captives saw a glimmer of hope in Leo's rebellious spirit. "Hey, Leo! You have to escape," whispered a man. "Get help from the government and save our children."

"Yes, Leo," a woman pleaded, "please take our children with you."

Leo looked at them, his eyes filled with a mix of defiance and resentment. "What about you?" he asked. "Don't you want to live?"

"We'll be fine," the man replied, "but you have to help us get our children away from these pirates."

A plan began to form in Leo's mind. "Okay," he said with a determined look. "I will save the children. I'll escape with all of them in seven days."

As they left, a bitter thought echoed in his head: "They only care about their own children. No one cares about me." He quickly pushed the thought away, knowing that if he had parents, they would do the same thing. With a promise made and a new resolve, Leo began to prepare his escape plan with the help of the captured townsfolk.
