"If we play our cards right, we might just have a seller on our hands." A deep, groggy voice spoke.
Where it had come from? a tall, slim man, who looked to be in his 20's. If one didn't know him, they would never suspect that he was turning 35 this year.
Then again, he wasn't much of a people person. So not many people even knew his birthday was in three days. Well, unless they looked at the digital wall calendar. his wife never missed it.
"Do the test again one more time."
"She needs to be perfect, she needs to be ready to take on her job."
the man spoke. the confidence and chill in his voice would make anyone shiver.
"but boss-"
"Just shut up and do it!"
He snapped, cutting the worker off mid-sentence.
"Y-yes boss... right on it." The worker immediately replied.
anyone would be scared of him, you couldn't blame them.
After all, he was the creator of the greatest company alive.
and with just a snap of a finger.
you, could be his puppet too.

Smooth sailing.
Yeah, that's what Juno thought as she sped down the street on her bike, Mona. bright neon lights gone by in a blur as it poured down rain, billboards flashing with ads of products being sold by big companies.
This ad in particular, just so happened to be from the very company she had just managed to steal something extremely valuable from.
"Now it's gonna be your fault if you get sick after this Juno. I told you it would have been better to wait till the rain stopped." A voice spoke, it was coming from the earpiece she had on.
"Relax Dex, I'll be fine!" She replied.
Taking a sharp left down a busy street, lots of vehicles and people walking with umbrellas or rain coats.
Looking at the buildings lining the streets, a few shops and hotels here and there. "On my locating radar I can see you're a few blocks away from the junkyard.
I know you're not fond of parkour, but this is going to be one time where you have to do it." Dex finally spoke after sometime.
He had been busy looking through the street camera's. His ability allowed him to hack into any system. code was his main language, as he understood it more than he did English.
"Why would i need to do that, I'm almost there, i can just-"
"Up ahead, take the ramp up to the roof, Mona should be able to climb the rest of the way. Just do as I say if you want to continue living this free life of yours!" Dex cut Juno off.
Reluctantly, Juno sighed and took a sharp right. The engine of the bike revved as she went over the sidewalk and into an alleyway.
Then she made a sharp left turn, went straight. Then a sharp left again. A sharp right turn. Then finally, she came up to a dead end, ahead was a ramp leading up to the roof.
Juno stepped on the gas, and Mona began to go faster. Going up the ramp the bike was shot into the air.
Looking down, Juno saw hundreds of drones and robotic guards, as well as some human guards blocking the pathway she had originally planned to take.
"Now I see why you said to take this way, they really stepped up security." She mumbled, feeling sick to her stomach at the same time. "No, you just stole something valuable to them that took longer to make than YOU did." Dex retorted.
Juno rolled her eyes as she pressed a button on Mona as the bike began to descend, the back of it began to change shape, parts shifting and moving to form thrusters.
Then the sides began to open up to form wings. The handle bars shifted into what looked somewhat like a game controller, with a variety of buttons and a digital screen displaying how much charge was left on the bike.
Pulling slightly up on the game controller like handles, mona began to stabilize.
Juno looked down at the Charge power and gas power that was left inside Mona. Charge was mainly backup energy, and right now it was at a full 100%. However, there was less than 10 gallons of gas left inside Mona's tank. "I need to get back there fast, if I have to fight off all these drones, I may not get home." Juno worried.
Juno, since the day she was born, had a fear of heights. Where'd it come from? She wasn't entirely sure herself. "Alright, let's just get this part over with." Juno revved Mona's engine and she sped off. It was great to be able to fly around with Mona, she was created by Dex using parts Juno stole from Voxgen, most parts were easy steals mostly found on bottom floors. The flying Upgrade on Mona though had never been tested and needed fixes here and there. Such as the amount of fuel, she used. And that some buttons didn't do what they were supposed to do.
"Be careful Juno. The flight hasn't been tested on her yet, and I will not be responsible if you crash into a building or something." Dex warned. With a roll of her eyes, Juno sped up, flying from building to building, she was hoping to make it half way to the junk yard before the gas ran out.
Suddenly, out the corner of her eye, a drone flew up and it was pointing straight at her. The front of it began to open up and light up a reddish orange. It began to spin, faster and faster. Juno had to swivel around and duck to the side, mona tipping over slightly as she did. Just then, a large beam of red energy shot out from the drone right over her head, hitting another drone that had flown up behind Juno. It had been merely inches from her head, and she sighed in relief.
Before the drone could power up to fire again, Juno flew off once more, flying from building to building. She had to amp up her speed now that the drones had found her. As she drove, she had to swerve, duck and dodge attacks from the drones and flying mini ships, the ones piloting the ships were Voxgen guards. "Juno, Mona's almost out of gas, so she's going to automatically switch to battery." Dex spoke. He was looking at his computer monitors, where he could see the drones, Mona's gas and battery levels, and the current speed Juno was going, plus some other things as well.
"What?!" Juno said. she hadn't really been checking the gas right now, so she didn't know it was low. Juno finally found that she was getting close to the junk yard, however, just then, Mona began to auto switch back to bike mode. "No, no, no! Mona c'mon were almost there, just give me one more gallon of flight power!" she said, looking at the gas. Mona was empty, she had no gas left.
"Remind me again why she can't fly when using battery power, Dex." Juno asked. Dex typed away at his computer and brought up some files, "I told you; I haven't finished with the upgrade! Just focus on getting to the junk yard. Thats the only way I can help you get rid of those drones." Dex spoke, typing away once again at his computer.
Juno continued on, eventually being able to see the ramp at the end of the connected roof tops, this was carefully created for different routes of escape when Juno went to steal stuff from Voxgen. Dex wanted to create more escape routes, but they needed more supplies for that.
Juno looked down at the buttons on Mona, and she pressed the only white button there Doing so she then swerved to the side, placing one foot on the ground, and closed her eyes. The drones were getting closer, and she just needed to slow them down.
Juno had to concentrate as every nerve in her body began to glow white, electrical shocks from the nerves hitting her cells and her hair began to turn white. She opened her eyes, a bright white glow coming from them as her heart rate slowed. everything around her slowed down as well. Her heartbeat could be felt throughout her entire body, and a white shock wave like pulse surged from her. it was strong and destroyed hundreds of the drones and damaged the sensors of the remaining drones. All of the flying mini ships controls were completely shut down, causing the ships to crash land.
Juno held her chest and gritted her teeth, she still didn't really know how to make her attacks less powerful, she felt as though she put strain on her body whenever she used that attack. "Hopefully this thing can help me fix this issue." she thought to herself, looking at the SYNTHEX hard drive inside her bag.
She pressed the white button on Mona once more, and she was off again. However, after her attack, more drones and mini ships began to appear. She was about to attack them once more with her pulsebeat, but mona switched out of her bike form into her leopard form, this form was more agile, and according to Dex mona was built to act like an actual leopard in some aspects.
Mona climbed up the buildings, jumping from roof to roof, running fast. She dodged attacks left and right from the drones and mini ships. she would also shoot a few with red lasers from her mouth or knock a few out of the sky with her tail and claws when she jumped on top of some of the mini ships.
Eventually, they made it to the junk yard and wasted no time running inside. They couldn't go into the secret escape route however, not until they got rid of all the drones and mini ships. after all, they couldn't risk being followed.
Juno looked at Mona and smirked. "Let's show them just who they're messing with."
