Chapter 1 - Chapter One, "The beginning"

Rumors of a bug in the GOR spread like wildfire through the gaming community. Anticipation grew heavier by the hour, excitement hanging in the air like an electric charge.

The five friends, long accustomed to living at the peak of virtual reality, could not resist the thrill either.

The campaign head made an announcement:

"Whoever finds the bug will be granted a share of the game's stocks. It will change your life forever."

These words ignited the hearts of players. A new tale was born, a legend that quickly gained strength — the legend of K. L., a bot no one had ever managed to defeat.

The internet erupted. Forums overflowed with theories, streamers dissected the mystery for hours, top players recounted their failures. Yet every story ended the same way — in defeat.

"He's unbeatable," they all said.

Watching a streamer clash with K. L., Alex asked:

"What do you think of him?"

Kayavnarrowed his eyes, smirking without looking away from the screen.

"Impossible to win. He's not just a bot. He's… something more."

On-screen, the strongest attacks rained down one after another. Coordinated teams, flawless strategies, the best arsenals — all in vain.

K. L.'s HP never dropped. Every strike was instantly restored. No one could explain how.

He did more than destroy everything in his path — he bent the game itself: twisting space, weaving illusions, rewriting mechanics. Players spoke of strange visions, hallucinations that blurred the line between reality and code.

Was K. L.… alive?

Jayar broke the silence, though his voice wavered.

"What's stopping us from finding the bug?"

Even he was surprised: no one had managed to destroy this intelligence.

And still, the world of the GOR moved forward. Players searched again and again, each step heavy with dread, as though the system itself was watching.

The deeper they went, the heavier the questions grew: What was this world hiding? Who had created it? What entities lurked behind its code?

When the best of the best confronted K. L., they met only his gaze — empty, cold, like the void itself.

They believed they could win. But each battle ended the same: K. L. was always one step ahead.

Jayar sat before the screen, eyes burning with greed. Every flicker of the pixels seemed like a clue, a step toward the truth.

He was certain — the bug the campaign head had promised was close.

But to Jayar, it wasn't just a bug. It was a chance. A way to step out of the shadows, to become part of the game itself.

"If I don't find it, I'll remain nothing," he thought. "But if I do… I'll make history."

His fingers danced over the keys, heart pounding faster. At that moment, his friends logged in. Each had their own goals and dreams, but together, in the virtual world, they were one.

They were a team.

Ready to fight, to explore, to uncover the secrets lurking in the darkest corners of the GOR.

For Jayar, this was more than just an adventure. This was a trial. His chance to prove he was destined for something greater.

And at last, the real game began.

City BI

A blond man with long hair walks briskly along the center of the road of a ruined city. The city was filled with red smoke and the smell of smoke mixed with blood.

The blond man stopped. His gaze went up to the tower of the huge building on which the nexus core was located. It was like there was a huge pimple on the building. It glowed with faint lights from inside. The blond man quickened his pace and ran inside the building.

A hooded guy was looking at it all from the side, his robe glowing with a red nexus. He just grinned and began to watch the blonde, even though he summoned four monsters with his nexus with a snap of his fingers.

The monsters moved like gorillas and looked like a piece of flesh and muscle two people tall. There were swollen veins on their body in red, there is a small core in the place where the head should have been located, as well as on the building.

One of the monsters climbed up and hid in the shadows of the building, waiting in ambush. The second monster broke the road and threw a rock smashing himself right at the blonde. The blonde noticed this and did a backflip to avoid being hit. I took advantage of the moment when the first monster jumps out of the third floor right at the blond man. All the monsters surrounded him.

The guy in the hood looks at it with disappointment.

"I expected more from you, son of K. L.," he said and turned his back on heading to another place.

But standing in his way is a man with dark skin and the same red Nexus glow from his clothes.

"Marty..." the hooded guy said with a smile. "I didn't expect to see you here."

Marty grabbed him by the throat and slammed him to the ground.

"I'll rip out your spine," Marty said coldly through clenched teeth.

"how nice, but I think I'll decline," he replied with a bloody smile.

The guy fell through the building, leaving Marty alone. The building began to collapse completely. But he stood motionless, staring at the neighboring building. He was there, Alex.

"Alex!" shouted Marty

"Why shout like that? I can hear everything perfectly well," the hooded guy replied.

Alex's Nexus headed straight for Marty like eels. Marty jumped right at them, grabbed both strands, and landing next to him, began spinning around Alex, binding him with his own nexus. Alex waited patiently for Marty to finish, his smile never leaving his face. When Marty circled Alex three times, He pulled the strings, but Alex seemed to dissipate in the places where he was tied up and the body was standing there. Alex looked at Marty with the same smile and then disappeared completely.

Marty straightened up and sighed. He was calm.

"why all this fuss, Alex?" he asked into empty space, spreading his arms.

The voice came from unnoticed

"what about the intrigue?"

"by the way, would you like to send some of your people to Jasonia?"

"What's that for?" asked Marty.

Silence

"Alex!" shouted Marty

"Well, share in that.... That... I want to destroy one clan." Alex answers him from nowhere.

"I'll think about it," he replied and jumped down from the tower.
