Chapter 5 - Brotherly Love

A few weeks had passed since I arrived at Grigori, moving back and forth between there and the human world. A lot had happened since I came here.

First, my relationship with Azazel had somewhat improved, and I got to meet the other Cadres. My bond with Penemue also changed—it felt like an older sister-younger brother relationship now.

Second, I met Vali and Tobio Ikuse. During this time, I became close friends with both of them. Sometimes Vali seems a bit jealous because I have this "family" he longs for so much. I guess he and I have something in common. As for Tobio, we hang out whenever he comes to Grigori. He's a great guy.

Third, during my first few days here at Grigori, I was secretly training my Maximum Forward Rotation, but Azazel caught me, and I had to explain everything. Ugh, what a pain.

"Maximum Cursed Energy Release, Maximum Forward Rotation: Blue Radiance."

I created a gravitational center, pulling a massive amount of matter toward a specific point and then moving the sphere of matter around me. The training area was completely devastated, leaving only a pile of rubble gathered in one spot.

"Hey, kid, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Azazel shouted angrily.

"Hehehe… training," I said awkwardly, scratching my head.

"You're going to have to explain what that was," he continued in the same stern tone.

"Relax. Okay, where do I start… This is the reinforced version of Limitless. It allows the amplification of infinite numbers and negative numbers, creating impossible scenarios. By generating impossible situations, I force the world itself to try to correct itself and fill the negative space. As a result, everything gets pulled toward the point of impossibility, creating attraction."

"What you just saw was my technique at its maximum potential. I use the attraction from those impossible scenarios to pull everything toward a single point, and then I can move that center of attraction wherever I want, dragging everything along with it."

"Kid, your techniques are always so damn complicated to understand," Azazel said, sweating.

"To put it simply, the base form, Blue Rotation, creates something like an invisible black hole—a void that pulls everything toward it until it fills up, creating a magnetic effect. The final form, Maximum Blue Rotation, lets me make a single point pull in everything around it, and I can move that point wherever I want."

"Oh, I see. Very interesting technique," he said thoughtfully.

"The problem is that it leaves me exhausted if I use it too much, and…" At that moment, I felt a sharp pain in my head. "Ugh," I groaned, clutching my head.

"Hey, kid, you okay?" Azazel asked, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah… Azazel, can you do me a favor?"

"Anything."

"Can you get me a pair of black sunglasses?"

"Sure, but why?"

"Just… do it. I need to deal with something first," I said, leaving slowly while holding my head.

(Damn it, the side effects of Limitless are kicking in. I need to reverse this before my head explodes.)

After I reversed time on my brain, restoring it to normal, Azazel gave me the glasses. He asked why I needed them, and I told him they were side effects from my Sacred Gear.

"Hmm, now that I see myself… these actually look good on me," I said, looking in the mirror.

Three days before rescuing the sisters, I needed to find a way to get to the Underworld.

"Hey, old man, I need a little favor," I said cheerfully.

"What do you want now?"

"I want you to take me to the Underworld," I said casually.

"Why do you want to go there?" he asked, curious.

"Let's just say I have a few idiots to kill," I replied indifferently.

Sigh "You never learn, do you? Listen, if you cause a scene, you're going to regret it. Be careful," he said seriously, handing me teleportation papers.

"Don't worry, I just need to kill a few members of the House of Neberius," I said with a slightly sadistic smile.

He was surprised. "Wait, the House of Neberius?!" he said, standing up.

"Yeah. See you, Azazel-chan," I waved as the portal closed behind me.

Once in the Underworld, I used the Six Eyes to search for Nekomata auras. After a while, I found a place protected by a barrier.

"Well, this must be the House of Neberius. Thanks to my pretty eyes, I can see through the barrier. Time for some fun," I said, making my usual hand gesture before entering the portal.

Inside, I found the Neberius mansion. I searched for the laboratory entrance and discovered a hidden staircase behind a bookshelf. Going down, I saw four demon auras—they were weak.

One of them noticed me. "Hey! Who the hell are you?! What are you doing down here?" he asked, defensive.

"Oh, sorry, I slipped through the barrier. But I came here to kill you all," I said confidently.

Another one laughed. "You? Kill us? Don't make me—" He didn't finish because I slammed his head into the ground with my hand.

"Why don't you shut up already? Now disappear," I said coldly, erasing his time and turning him to dust.

The others attacked, but it didn't matter. Some were crushed under increased gravity, others had their time stolen. In seconds, they were all gone.

Deeper inside, I found a small girl—white-haired, yellow-eyed, tiny. She was crying. Around her were eleven demons, one of them high-class.

"Who the hell are you?" asked the Neberius leader.

"Just a simple human here to kill you," I said casually.

"Pathetic. Finish him quickly, I'll continue the experiment with the older one," he said, turning away.

I removed my sunglasses. "Let's get this over with," I muttered.

The demons attacked, but their blows were stopped by Infinity. Shocked, they froze just long enough for me to crush them with Blue Rotation or erase their time.

"They weren't even a warm-up," I said, cracking my neck. "Next."

More demons charged. I used Chrono Stasis to trap them in glowing cyan spheres. They screamed as time aged them into dust.

"Another success," I said proudly.

Finally, I faced Neberius himself. He shouted about demon kings coming after me, but I didn't care. After a brutal beating, I tore off his head and sealed it in Chrono Stasis.

"Shirone-chan, you can open your eyes now," I said, putting my glasses back on.

I rescued her sister Kuroka next. At first, she attacked me, but when Shirone explained, she calmed down.

I told Kuroka my plan: Shirone would live safely with the Gremory family, while Kuroka would take the blame as a wanted criminal to protect her sister's future.

After some hesitation, Kuroka agreed. She knocked out Shirone to spare her the pain of parting.

"Keep your promise," Kuroka warned seriously before leaving.

Finally, I delivered Shirone to the Gremory family. Sirzechs, Rias, Akeno, and Grayfia were shocked when I appeared. They attacked, but Infinity blocked everything.

I handed Shirone to them along with Neberius's head.

"That bastard experimented on her. I killed him. That's all. Take care of her," I said.

They warned me I was now a triple-S criminal. I didn't care.

I left before they could say more.

Back in my room, I thought, "They'll find Kuroka soon and give her the SS rank. The timeline should be fine… probably. Whatever."
