Flashback
"Listen, Yuu, don't follow the teachings of those two. Use your power to help others, to help the weak and those in danger," he said, resting his hand on my shoulder.
"Use my power… to help others…"I opened my eyes.
"Yes, protect the smiles of those you care about."
"Alright… I promise," I said, hugging him before leaving.
End of Flashback
A few days had passed since I saved Masaomi and Cleria. Now, where to start?
"Hey, kid, why didn't you show up to training yesterday?" Azazel asked me while we were at the training grounds.
"Ohhh, sorry… I had so much homework piled up, I couldn't keep up. Switching between Grigori and Kuoh takes a lot of time."
"Don't overwork yourself. And speaking of Kuoh…" He stared at me intently.
"Yes? What about Kuoh?" (Oh no… he's gonna find out). My nerves spiked in my head.
"Funny coincidence… the demon in charge of Kuoh got killed, and on that exact same day, you skipped training." He gave me the you totally had something to do with it look.
"If you're thinking I had something to do with it, you're way off, old man," I said childishly.
"I don't know… these last few days you've been acting pretty rebellious, brat," he said seriously.
"Don't joke around. I've been on my best behavior lately," I said with a dumb look.
"Like that time you drew The Most Perverted Fallen Angel on my chest?" I shrank a bit. "Or that time we went to the human world to test your technique, and like the good friend I am, I offered to help—and you teleported me straight to Antarctica?" I shrank even more. "Or when you tricked me, saying you'd gotten Minotaur meat, and it turned out to be rotten fish?" I shrank to the size of an ant.
"HAHAHAHA you liked the fish meat, didn't you, Azazel?" I said, laughing on the floor.
"YOU LITTLE DEMON!" He started chasing me.
"Catch me if you can, The Most Perverted Fallen Angel!" I yelled as he started throwing light spears at me.
And that's how I almost got caught red-handed. Now for the main events.
Time Skip no Jutsu
A year has passed since that tragic day when I nearly died at Azazel's hands. I still haven't made any progress with Limitless, but my physical skills and two other abilities have improved a lot.
Nothing major has happened lately—except I started hunting stray demons and sending their stuff to Kuroka. I'm not a pervert or anything, but… let's just say her bust size has grown quite a bit, hehehe.
As for the story's events: Irina went to England, like she was supposed to. Ahhh, our farewell was so dramatic.
She said, "Goodbye, my love!!!"And I answered, "I'll never forget you! Our paths will cross again!!!"
Sounds like a soap opera, right? But that was REALITY. Well… maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but it was reality!
So, what should I do now…? Mmm… I think I'll pay the Gremory family a little visit. I planned this a year ago—let's see what happens. But first, I have a little gift to deliver, hahaha.
After leaving Grigori, I teleported to the Underworld, near Gremory territory.
"Alright, alright, hold still," I said, tying it to a tree.
But first things first… before them, I should probably talk to Sirzechs. I'd rather be on good terms with the Maous. I don't want to fight them… yet. Not until I master Domain Expansion.
I searched for Sirzechs' aura, and ohhh, there it was. Let's see what happens.
"Helloooo," I said cheerfully, appearing in the siscon's office.
He looked surprised. "Who are you?" He glanced at me sideways. "Don't tell me—you're X!" A magic circle appeared in his hand—the power of destruction.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I said seriously, snapping my fingers. The magic circle slowly disintegrated into tiny red particles.
He stared at his hand, eyes wide. "What the he…?" he muttered.
"Hey, calm down, speedster. I'm not here to fight," I said casually. "But I'm flattered the great Maou Lucifer remembers me." I smirked.
"Of course I remember. You brought me that girl the day Neberius was killed, and we classified you as an SSS-class criminal," he said seriously.
"Relax, I told you—I'm not here to fight," I said with a depressed look.
"Then what do you want?"
"I want to make a deal."
"A deal? What could I possibly—"
"I want you to let me train in the Underworld. Yeah, I know—you get nothing out of it."
"I'd never let a criminal like you roam free. And yeah, I gain nothing."
"Then you leave me no choice," I said, moving right up to him, pressing my head to his shoulder, and whispering in his ear, "You wouldn't want me to spread the word that the great and mighty Maou Lucifer takes pictures of his little sister while she's asleep, would you?"
His eyes went wide.
"You're sinking pretty low to threaten me with something that isn't true. I'd never do that to my sister," he said seriously.
"You sure about that?" I pointed at a locked drawer where he kept the pictures of little Rias sleeping. I forced it open. "Ohhh, Maou Lucifer, you've sunk so low," I said, holding one up for him to see.
He stared at me, dumbfounded, then suddenly laughed. "Cough I don't know how you got that classified info, but… maybe I can consider it." His serious expression vanished.
"Pleasure doing business with you, Sirzechs-chan," I said with a silly grin. "Now I think I'll be going."
"Wait. I'm sure X isn't your real name."
"Yeah. My real name is Yuudai Gojo."
"Then, Yuudai-kun, I hope you keep your promise," he said nervously.
"You can trust me. I'll come by to train and show you my power."
"Alright. Come whenever you want."
"See you then, Maou Siscon," I said, doing the signature hand sign before vanishing.
"Sigh… Yuudai Gojo, X… one of the most wanted criminals in the Underworld… shows up out of nowhere and blackmails me over pictures of my little sister… what a troublesome guy," he muttered.
POV Yuu
(With this little deal, my plan for domination is slowly coming together. Hehe… things are about to get very interesting. Now… time to find a Great Seraph.)
Back in Kuoh, I started searching for our good friend Michael. Where could he be? Guess I'll have to use the power of plot armor for this one. Probably have to check every church…
Ah-ha! There it is—that angelic aura.
I descended carefully into a huge church, pushing open the giant door.
"Anyone here?" I yelled stupidly.
"Who's there?" he said, turning around, surprised.
"Just a simple guy… Michael the Seraph," I said sarcastically.
That put him on guard. "Who are you?"
"Yuudai Gojo. The strongest human."
"A human? The strongest human?" He glanced at me again, eyes widening. "How can a human have such an aura?"
"Told you, didn't I? The strongest human," I said with a confident smile. "Anyway, enough talk. I want to make a deal."
"What kind of deal?"
"I want to build strong ties with Heaven. So, how about an alliance?"
"An alliance? And what do I get out of it?"
"That I won't reveal one of the biggest secrets among all factions: the death of God," I said with a smug grin.
That made his eyes go wide. "How did you…?"
"So, Michael, what do you say? We help each other out."
He stayed silent for a moment. "I accept. But in the name of the late God, you must swear never to reveal it."
"I swear I won't reveal God's death."
"I hope you keep your promise."
"Yeah. And to celebrate our alliance—" I teleported and reappeared holding two bottles of sake and two little cups. "Let's have a drink."
"No thanks. I'm a Seraph—I can't drink. And aren't you too young to be drinking?" he said, shaking his head.
"I'm 27. Come on, one little sip won't stain your soul. Besides, I bet God himself had a drink once in a while," I said, throwing my arm around his shoulders.
"I doubt that last part… but fine. One sip. For the alliance."
"That's the spirit!" I said, pouring him a drink.
A while later, Michael and I were outside the church, arms over each other's shoulders, singing like idiots.
"She left me for another… so I got with another…" we sang in unison.
My mom's gonna kill me, but as the saying goes: He who doesn't risk, doesn't win.
