POV Akeno
When we arrived at Rias's house a few days ago, my Mommy went to speak with her parents, and they agreed to let us stay.
After talking about turning me into a devil, I accepted.
My Mommy spoke with Mrs. Grayfia about the Gremory family being one of the 32 Demon Pillar Families—or something like that. That news left my Mommy completely stunned.
But… I can't stop thinking about Yuu.
Mrs. Grayfia said he might have died and that someone had taken his body.
No. I can feel it… he can't be dead.
I was lying in one of the mansion's rooms when my eyes fell on the letter Yuu had given me. I kept staring at it until I finally decided to open it.
I wondered what would've happened if Daddy had been with us to protect us from those people. Thinking about why he wasn't there, why he's never with us—even though he's a Fallen Angel—only makes me angry.
Back to the letter.
I opened it and read its contents:
"Don't hate your father. And thank you… for taking away my loneliness."
I hugged the letter to my chest and whispered, "I should be the one thanking you, Yuu."
A single tear rolled down my left cheek.
Then, one of the maids came to call me for training with Mrs. Grayfia and Rias.
POV Yuu
It's been a few days since the Himejima incident, and honestly… I've been bored out of my mind.
I've been training time manipulation using the energy I got from killing those old geezers. I practiced stopping time for small insects, rewinding little things to a previous state—like turning an ant back into a larva. That one was hilarious.
Oh, and I forgot to mention I've been practicing Manual Infinity, Blue Rotation, and… well, now that I think about it, for Red Rotation, I'll probably need to wear something like glasses to lessen the negative effects on my psyche from the Six Eyes. Otherwise, my brain might fry. Hmm… we'll see what happens.
Time Skip no Jutsu, heh.
Anyway, I think I've hit the limit of what I can do in Kuoh. Maybe it's time to visit someone who loves Sacred Gears… the old man Azazel, of course.
The important part: about three years have passed. I think the whole Koneko and Kuroka situation should be happening soon.
I'm eight now, and these past few years, I've been training like crazy in both Limitless and Time Manipulation.
I managed to fully master Blue Rotation—it doesn't tire me out like before—and Manual Infinity is now at its peak.
As a funny anecdote, one time I tried teleporting objects. I drew a circle on the ground, placed a frog inside, and tried moving it to another location. Guess where it landed? On my neighbor's head. Funniest thing ever.
As for time manipulation, I managed to replicate some of Julius Novachrono's time spells from Black Clover, though I still haven't mastered them completely.
Speaking of the story's events, there's only a month left until the Nekoshou Sisters' incident. So yeah, I've got time to kill.
And the dirtiest method in all fanfics to bribe Azazel? Show him your Sacred Gear.
Time to find that Fallen Angel bastard. He's probably in the human world right now.
I was near a lake, not too far from home, when I felt an aura. Yep, definitely Fallen Angel energy.
I stood on top of a building, then jumped down, carefully reducing my gravity so I wouldn't make a scene, and approached Azazel from behind. He was fishing at the lake's edge.
"Ahhh, finally some peace and quiet… no worries, no chaos," he said, sighing in relief.
"Hellooo," I said cheerfully.
"You, kid… are you lost?" he said, turning around to look at me.
"Well, you could say I've been looking for you for quite a while," I said, scratching the back of my head casually.
"Me?" he asked, pointing at himself in confusion.
"Yeah, Crow-boy," I said with a smug grin.
"Oh? Big words for a brat. Who are you, kid?" he said, his tone turning serious.
"Why don't we go somewhere private to talk?" I said, stepping closer.
Azazel instinctively got defensive.
"Relax, old man. I don't bite," I said irritably, then placed my hand on his shoulder and used that signature Satoru move.
"W-What the hell?! Where are we?" he shouted, looking around.
"I teleported us to a rooftop. Pretty obvious, no? Or did the ride mess you up?" I said mockingly.
"Who are you, brat?" he asked again, narrowing his eyes.
"Easy there, old man. My name's Yuudai Gojo, the strongest man alive," I said with a cocky smile.
"You? A man? You're a kid," Azazel said in chibi-mode sarcasm.
"Yeah, I KNOW THAT, DAMMIT," I snapped, vein popping on my forehead.
"Hahaha! Alright, brat, what do you want from me?" he said, laughing.
"I want to make a deal, Azazel," I said seriously.
"What kind of deal?"
"You investigate my Sacred Gear, and in exchange, you let me train in Grigori."
"You have a Sacred Gear? Interesting… what can it do?" His curiosity was obvious now.
"Touch my hand," I said, extending my hand toward him.
"Is this some kind of joke?" he asked, doubtful.
"Come on, come on," I said, keeping my expression blank.
When he finally reached for my hand, his own was suddenly stopped midair—Infinity blocked him.
"Wha—?!" His eyes widened.
"This is the base form of my Sacred Gear. I call it Infinity."
"Why… can't I touch you?" he asked, stunned.
"Think of it like this: it doesn't stop things; it just slows them down infinitely. In math, no matter how many times you divide something, it never truly reaches zero. Infinity makes that concept real—anything that touches it gets infinitely divided and never reaches me."
"Uh… could you… dumb it down a bit?" he said, sweat-dropping.
sigh "Ever heard of Achilles and the Tortoise?"
He nodded.
"Imagine Achilles starts at Point A, and the tortoise at Point B. Every time Achilles reaches the tortoise's last spot, the tortoise is already further ahead. No matter what, Achilles never catches up. Infinity brings that paradox to life. Anything touching me slows down infinitely—it never reaches me."
"Ohhh, so it infinitely divides the distance so nothing can hit you?" he said, smiling proudly.
"Wow… took you long enough," I said, smirking.
"Hey, math is hard!" he said, irritated.
"Anyway," Azazel continued, "this Sacred Gear of yours… does it have a name?"
"Longinus: The Limitless. And it's in my eyes," I said, pointing to my left eye.
"Wait… an unidentified Longinus?!" Azazel looked like Christmas came early.
"Yep. And I can do a lot more than what I just showed you."
"(An unidentified Longinus… this kid could be a game-changer. If I ally with him, the Fallen Angels gain a powerful asset…)"
"Alright, brat. One more condition: become my ally, and we've got a deal."
"Fine. As long as I can ask for anything I need, we've got a deal," I said, shaking his hand.
"Deal."
Azazel opened a portal to Grigori, taking me straight to his office.
"Nice office," I said, whistling.
"Thanks. I've got a few things for you. Wait here," he said, leaving the room.
Of course, I sat in his chair, feet on the desk.
A few minutes later, someone unexpected walked in: Penemue.
Beautiful, violet hair, sharp eyes, curves for days—the kind of woman any man would dream of.
"Oh… who's this little one? Another Sacred Gear user Azazel brought in?" she asked, smiling politely.
"Bingo," I said, standing up. "Yuudai Gojo. Call me Yuu."
"Nice to meet you, Yuu-kun. I'm Penemue," she said, shaking my hand.
We chatted about random things until Azazel came back, looking annoyed.
"Brat, what are you doing in my chair?!" he shouted.
"Relax, old man. Your precious chair's fine," I said with a grin.
"You little—" he started, but Penemue was laughing into her hand.
Azazel finally sighed. "Anyway, here. This appeared on my desk months ago. No note, no nothing. But… I feel like it belongs to you."
It was a small black box. Inside was a pendant shaped like a cross.
(Wait… this is from my past life. That damned old god…) I thought, smiling slightly.
"Thanks, Azazel," I said, pocketing it.
He also handed me papers with teleportation circles to Grigori.
POV God
The old man was drinking tea peacefully when suddenly—
"Achoo! …Why do I get the feeling someone irritating is talking about me?" he muttered, shivering. "Oh… it's him…"
POV Yuu
"Thanks, Azazel. I've gotta head home before my mom kills me," I said, feeling a sudden chill down my spine.
"Come back tomorrow, brat. We'll start your training," Azazel said.
"See you soon," Penemue added.
I waved, opened a portal, and headed home.
At home, I snuck in quietly… only for a lamp to flick on.
"Yuu," my mother said in a terrifyingly calm voice, "you have a lot of explaining to do."
"M-Mom… wait… where's Dad?" I asked nervously, only to see him tied up in the closet, duct tape covering his entire body.
"Y-Yuu… don't fight… she's a m-monster…" he said weakly before passing out.
"Nowhere to run, Yuu," my mother said cheerfully, which was even scarier. "Get ready for some spankings."
"W-Wait, Mom—!"
Like a flash, she grabbed me by the leg and dragged me toward my room, closing the door behind us.
