Time Skip
Let's take a little jump forward in time—four years, to be exact. Progress in my improvement? Absolutely, unexpectedly, and unmatched... 0%. Yup, I'm that useless. :/ No progress in four years—ugh, I want to die, but I'm already dead, lol!
Now, onto the main events. First, I grew! I'm no longer a shorty; I'm now 1.69 meters tall. I visited Heaven, and it's gorgeous. I met the other Seraphim, and my relationship with them has improved a lot, especially with Michael and Gabriel.
"Hey, Michael, wanna grab a drink?" I popped into his office, startling him.
"No, Yuudai, I'm busy right now," he replied.
"Oh, come on, buddy, just one little drink!" I said, acting childish.
"No. You know I'm weak to alcohol," he pointed at me with his pen.
"Fine, I'll go find Gabriel, Uriel, or Raphael to see if they're up for it."
They didn't even let me finish—each one gave me a flat-out NO that left me stunned.
Second, I trained in swordsmanship with Souji Okita, Sirzechs' knight, and according to him, I was his best student—hehe, main character vibes! I even beat Kiba in a knife—no, sword—duel. My relationship with Rias has improved; she now sees me as a rival to surpass, along with her peerage. Sirzechs is a good friend now, and while Grayfia used to keep a close eye on me, she now considers me a little brother, as does little Millicas. I met Rias' parents, and they treat me pretty well whenever I visit—hehe, I'm a total charmer! Ten billion points for me!
I was meeting with Sirzechs and the others to say goodbye since my training was complete.
"Thanks, really," I said.
"No worries, you're one of us now," Sirzechs replied.
"Well, it's time for me to go." I opened a portal. "Oh, I almost forgot my gift!"
I left and reappeared with a big surprise.
"This is Chunchumaru, the camel!" At that moment, Rias felt true terror.
"Get that thing out of here, you idiot!" Rias shouted, eyes shut tight, hiding behind Sirzechs.
"Hahaha, no way! Chunchumaru's staying. I asked Zeoticus, and he said it's fine."
"Papa!" Rias yelled at Zeoticus.
"Chunchumaru is very well-trained. He'll be the family mascot!" Zeoticus declared.
"See you guys in a bit!" I said as I vanished.
Currently, I'm at Grigori, training with Vali and Tobio. During a break, I decided to talk to them.
"Hey, guys, I think I'm gonna stop coming to Grigori for a while," I said casually.
"Seriously?!" they asked in unison.
"Yeah, probably for a few years. I need to focus on other parts of my life outside the supernatural," I said, a bit melancholic.
"I get it," Tobio said. Vali, on the other hand…
"I'll get stronger, and when you come back, I'll wipe the floor with you," he said, determined.
"As if that'll ever happen," I teased in chibi mode.
"Haha, fine, get stronger, Vali, and face me in a few years!" I raised my fist.
"I'll surpass you!" he replied, bumping my fist.
"Then I'll get stronger too!" Tobio added.
"Alright, let's make a promise." I disappeared and reappeared with three sake cups and a bottle. I poured a cup for each of us, and we toasted. "Let's swear to get stronger and face off again!" I raised my cup.
"Yes!" they shouted, and we drank.
"Nii-san, where'd you get the sake?" Tobio asked.
"Oh, I stole it from Azazel."
Suddenly, a magic circle appeared, and an angry crow—er, Azazel—emerged.
"Which one of you brats stole my special sake?!" he roared, charging at us full speed.
After Azazel calmed down, I explained my situation to the other Cadres—except Kokabiel, who wasn't there.
"My little brother's leaving!" Penemue hugged me tightly against her chest—hehe, lucky me!
"It's just for a while. I've got some things to take care of in the human world," I said as Penemue nearly suffocated me.
"Sorry!" She let go.
"Hey, kid, things are gonna be boring around here, so come back soon," Azazel said with a small smile.
"Yeah. Oh, Azazel, here." I handed him a letter.
"What's this?" he asked, looking at the back of it.
"Read it later. Shemhazai, Baraqiel, and the rest—thanks for everything."
"Come back soon," Shemhazai said.
Baraqiel leaned in and whispered, "Kid, if you do anything to my daughter, I'll kill you."
"Y-Yes, sir!" I stammered.
"How about a group photo?" I suggested.
Everyone gathered, and I took a picture I'll treasure forever. Fun fact: I also took one with just Penemue.
In Kuoh
(Now that I've distanced myself from the Fallen Angels and Demons, I can deal with him.) I teleported to a hooded figure watching me from a distance.
"Who are you?" (This jerk's been following me for a while, and now he feels like a demigod.) He started to flee, jumping across rooftops. "Wanna play tag? Fine, I'll play." I appeared in front of him, grabbed him by the head, and teleported us to a forest far from Kuoh.
"I'll ask one more time—who are you?" I said seriously. He didn't answer.
He pulled out a black scythe with yellowish hues and swung at me, but I stopped it with Infinity. Then I lifted him slightly, lowered his gravity, and slammed him into the ground with enough force to create a small crater.
"I'm done with this. Who the hell are you?" I said, my tone dark.
"Stop!" he shouted, and I released the pressure on him.
"Answer," I demanded.
"I-I'm Zeno, one of the high-class Fates serving the King of the Dead," he said, struggling.
(Zeno? That Fate turned good after the Hell Alliance's defeat. I won't kill him; he's just loyal to Hades.) "What does Hades want with me?"
"Ever since Hades-sama discovered your power, he tasked me with observing you from afar to gauge your range. But recently, he changed his mind and now sees you as a threat, Yuudai Gojo."
"Ohhh, so the King of the Dead is scared of me, hehe. Tell Hades if he doesn't want to die, he'd better stay out of my way. Now get lost," I said darkly.
He got up, opened a portal, and disappeared.
(So Hades has his eye on me, huh? This is gonna be fun. Maybe other DxD enemies already know about me. If anyone makes a move against me, they're dead.) "Now, to find Tiamat." I opened a portal and headed to the Familiar Forest.
In the Familiar Forest
"Let's see… dragon aura, dragon aura… there you are!" I teleported to her location.
I entered a massive cave and saw Tiamat lying on the ground. Wow, she's a pale blue Western dragon with sky-blue scales—pretty intimidating!
"Is there a grumpy dragon lady around here?" I said with a goofy grin.
"Who's interrupting my beauty sleep?!" she growled, irritated.
"Hey there!" I waved.
"Who are you?"
"Yuudai Gojo, just a simple human," I said confidently.
"What's a human doing in the Spirit Forest?"
"I came to subdue you and maybe have a fight."
"You think you can defeat me so easily?" she said, getting serious. "A mere human against one of the Five Dragon Kings?"
"Yup, this'll be fun," I said with a slightly sadistic grin.
The battle began. Tiamat unleashed her fiery breath, but I blocked it easily with Infinity, surprising her.
"What's wrong, Chaos Karma Dragon?" The smoke cleared. "Scared?"
She charged at me, hitting me with her tail and sending me flying out of the cave. I lowered my gravity, balanced myself, and punched her in the head, knocking her to the ground. I grabbed her tail, spun her in the air, and threw her near the forest, toppling trees. She stood up, summoning thousands of magical circles that fired pale blue laser beams. I snapped my fingers, trapping them in Chrono Stasis, shocking her. With another snap, I sent the beams back, hitting her. A loud cry of pain echoed as she took heavy damage, covered in cuts and burns.
"Give up?" I approached, still smiling.
"I-I refuse," she said weakly.
I took off my glasses. She lunged to bite me, but I used Blue to implode her wings, making her scream in pain and collapse. She then transformed into a beautiful woman with long, straight pale blue hair, deep blue eyes, and a cold aura radiating from her beauty. She wore a navy blue skirt, her body adorned with deep blue hues.
"You've defeated me. I submit," she said, defeated.
"Good. All I want is your strength and help as my comrade," I said with a small smile.
"Then I'll aid you however I can, Yuudai Gojo," she replied with a faint smile.
"Let me heal you." I rewound time to erase all her wounds.
"My wounds are gone without a trace. Impressive," she said.
"Hehe, I can do a lot more than that. Now, let's find another comrade."
"Who?"
"A descendant of the original Leviathan, Ingvild Leviathan. She has a powerful dormant Longinus. Let's go." Tiamat looked shocked.
"Wait!" Tiamat said seriously.
"What's up?" I asked as she ran back to her cave.
"My babies!"
I teleported and dragged her back. "We'll get your treasures later. First, we find her!" I said, a bit annoyed.
"You're so mean!" She crossed her arms.
I opened a portal, and we went to the territory where Ingvild was hidden.
(This is the place where they're hiding Ingvild. Now to find her aura.) I scanned the area carefully until I located her.
"Are you sure about seeking the Leviathan descendant?" Tiamat interrupted my thoughts.
"She's different from the others. I know where she is. Put your hand on my shoulder." She did, and we teleported to Ingvild's location.
I found her and picked her up princess-style—finally, my moment!
"This is Ingvild Leviathan," I told Tiamat.
"What's wrong with her?"
"It's a sleeping sickness. As the name suggests, it puts you in an eternal slumber, but I can wake her. Let's go."
We teleported outside the territory, then I opened a portal to a rooftop in the human world.
"Tiamat, from now on, you'll stay in the human world."
"The human world? I'll try to adapt," she said.
"Great. My place is nearby. Let's go."
We headed to a spacious, convenient apartment my parents bought for me when I start high school, since my home is far away.
"Make yourself at home," I said.
"It's nice," Tiamat said, looking around.
"I'm going to wake her." We went to a room, and I laid Ingvild on a bed.
(Ingvild woke up when her Sacred Gear activated. If I can interact with it and speed up its activation, I can wake her.) I placed my hand on her forehead, using time manipulation to accelerate her Sacred Gear's activation without affecting her biological time. It worked. Ingvild slowly opened her eyes.
"Where am I?" she said, looking around.
"Welcome to the real world, Ingvild-chan!" I said with a big grin.
"Who are you?! Where am I?!" she bombarded me with questions.
"Calm down. I'm Yuudai Gojo, and this is Tiamat."
"I'm Tiamat, one of the Dragon Kings," Tiamat said, leaving Ingvild wide-eyed.
"You're in my home. I just woke you from a sleep that lasted about 100 years."
"100 years?! Where are my parents?!" she said, tears welling up.
"They're dead," I said bluntly. Her eyes fell, and she began to cry.
"Sniff… What am I supposed to do now? Sniff… Mom… Dad… they're gone. I have nothing… Sniff."
"I can offer you something." She stopped sobbing. "You know you're a Leviathan descendant, right?" She nodded. "I can give you a home, food, and maybe a family," I said, glancing at Tiamat. "In return, I need your strength. I woke you by accelerating your Sacred Gear, Nereid Kyrie. It lets you control dragons and the seas. Become my comrade, and you'll have those benefits." Tiamat looked at Ingvild with a surprised, almost funny expression.
"I have that power?" Ingvild looked at her hands, then clenched her fists and looked at me with determination. "I accept. I'll become your comrade."
