Chapter 27 - 27

Mr. Harvey Anberaka, where is Tony?"

Pepper asked as she saw Harvey come up from the Underground Research Lab.

"He should come up on his own in a bit, or you can go down and find him."

"I've already finished dinner, so I'll be leaving now."

Harvey smiled slightly and said.

"Leaving already?"

"Right, it's quite late."

"You and Tony seemed to have a pleasant chat. I hope Mr. Harvey Anberaka, you'll visit again next time."

Pepper was a bit surprised at first, but then she glanced at the clock on the wall and saw that it was already past nine in the evening.

In about an hour, New York would become less peaceful, so it was normal for Harvey Anberaka to leave now.

"Mm, if there's a chance next time."

"Then goodbye, Miss Pepper."

Harvey nodded slightly and said goodbye before leaving.

After Harvey left, Pepper asked directly from the first-floor hall.

"Jarvis, is Tony alright?"

"Can I go down now?"

"Sir is fine. He is currently contemplating some things."

"I don't recommend you go down and disturb him."

"Once Sir has thought things through, he will come up directly."

Jarvis also offered his advice.

"Alright."

Pepper was only worried about Tony, and now hearing the advice not to, she suppressed the urge to go down and check on him.

Meanwhile, Tony Stark, in the Underground Research Lab, was also constantly deep in thought.

With his intelligence, even if he started studying genetics now and developed a serum to enhance his physical abilities, it wouldn't be difficult; it would just take some time.

It was just that he had never considered it before, thinking it would involve doing something horrific.

But now, hearing Harvey Anberaka's words, his previously firm conviction wavered slightly.

"Jarvis, after listening to my conversation with him, what are your thoughts?"

After a moment of hesitation, Tony Stark began to seek other opinions.

"Sir, I don't quite understand what a human is, as I am merely an AI intelligence."

"However, to summarize your conversation, it can be roughly divided into three points."

"The first point is that the Iron Man Armor is incredibly powerful, but no matter what, it has an unavoidable and difficult-to-change weakness, which is you, Sir, yourself."

"The second point is that you have the ability and confidence to resolve this weakness, but you are unable to cross moral boundaries, so you have never touched upon genetics, which could resolve the weakness."

"The third point is Mr. Harvey Anberaka's words, which are telling you."

"If you, Sir, wish to make a change, have you already considered whether it is necessary to go to that extent."

"If you are to go to that extent, have you already prepared yourself mentally."

"Based on my observations, Sir, you clearly have not fully considered these prerequisites yet."

"Therefore, I suggest you first focus your attention on finding a new element to replace palladium."

"If you cannot guarantee that piloting the Armor has no side effects, then you do not need to consider overcoming the Iron Man Armor's fatal weakness."

"You cannot immediately think of an answer now, but by then, you may have already made a choice."

Jarvis responded to Tony's question.

"Thanks, Jarvis."

Tony was momentarily stunned by Jarvis's words, then felt his thoughts suddenly clear, and he thanked him.

Harvey Anberaka was a superhuman, and he was a super genius with an excellent mind, but because their exposure was different, their perspectives were completely different.

Only by ensuring that he could pilot the Iron Man Armor could he continue to understand and interact with this World that he had just entered, which was completely beyond ordinary people.

Only by deepening his understanding could he continue to discuss his own ideas and thoughts with Harvey Anberaka.

Perhaps Harvey Anberaka also felt that the Iron Man Armor he developed had begun to touch upon Harvey Anberaka's side of the World.

That's why the other party talked so much with him, expanding his knowledge greatly.

However, this also gave rise to a question in Tony Stark's mind: how old was Harvey Anberaka actually?

Harvey Anberaka possessed an ability similar to rejuvenation, so the identity he had investigated might only be what Harvey Anberaka wanted others to see.

"Where is Harvey Anberaka?"

Thinking of this, Tony Stark looked around and found that Harvey Anberaka's figure was gone, and immediately asked.

"Mr. Harvey Anberaka has already left."

"Before leaving, he specifically reminded you that he won't always help you treat palladium poisoning and then leave."

"So you need to quickly find a new element to replace palladium."

"Because you were just thinking, you might not have heard it."

"According to my feeling, Mr. Harvey Anberaka's words just now meant either find a new element or give up piloting the Iron Man Armor."

"Next time if you get poisoned again and can't find a solution, you'll be dead."

Jarvis also relayed what Harvey had just said.

"Before I knew I was getting younger, I had thought about asking Harvey Anberaka for help if I got palladium poisoning later."

"But after knowing I was getting younger, I didn't think that way anymore."

Tony Stark smiled upon hearing these relayed messages.

One was to help heal, and the other was to help heal while also making him a few years younger; these were completely different distinctions.

Now he was six years younger, his body roughly equivalent to his thirty-two-year-old self, though he was still past thirty and into middle age.

This time, his wrinkles were gone, and he looked even younger. Others would only think he took good care of himself or had some surgery.

But if he were to get even younger, returning to his twenties, no matter how he explained it, others would think he had a problem.

Not to mention that this might expose Harvey Anberaka's superpower, he himself might even be tied up and used as a guinea pig.

Although he had the Iron Man Armor, he was not invincible. If the Military targeted him, he wasn't fully confident he could guarantee his safety.

Therefore, Tony Stark completely understood Harvey Anberaka's unwillingness to help him too many times.

Afterward, Tony Stark left the Underground Research Lab.

Facing Pepper's various curious questions, Tony Stark explained some things, while others he casually brushed off.

Among them, Pepper was most curious about him getting younger. Regarding this, Tony Stark could only insist that he didn't know either.

This made Pepper a bit disappointed, as no woman doesn't love beauty and wish to become younger.

It just seemed that Tony Stark truly didn't know.

So Pepper thought for a moment and could only attribute it to Tony meeting a friend he could talk to, which made him feel very happy, causing him to temporarily look younger.
