I'm done discussing my business."
"Let's go up and talk about other things."
"I wonder if you could do me a favor and chat with Pepper."
"Just to be clear, I haven't told her about our conversation."
"Pepper just wants to talk to you, since you're so popular with many rich women."
Tony Stark then spoke.
"You don't mind?"
Harvey looked at Tony when he heard that, and said,
"You're very handsome, but you look so much younger than Pepper."
"She doesn't have that much money, so she wouldn't think of keeping you as a sugar baby."
"As long as you don't deliberately flirt with Pepper, I don't mind at all."
Tony Stark waved his hand, completely unconcerned.
"Since you don't mind, then I'm even more indifferent."
"As for flirting with beautiful women, that's never been my style. People always approach me first."
Harvey spread his hands, looking nonchalant.
"Alright, let's go."
Tony Stark was relieved to hear that.
Just as Tony Stark was about to leave the Underground Research Lab with Harvey.
"Sir, Agent Coulson is calling. Would you like to answer?"
Jarvis's voice suddenly rang out.
"That fast?"
Tony Stark said, a little surprised.
Agent Coulson was helping him investigate his father's belongings, and he even expected Agent Coulson might use some trickery to extend the time, to gain his favor.
He didn't expect Agent Coulson to call in just ten minutes or so.
If it was that fast, it meant they had most likely found his father's belongings.
"Maybe their abilities are a little higher than you imagined?"
Harvey said.
"Then answer it first."
Tony Stark stopped his steps towards the stairs after hearing that, and said.
This time, after connecting, it was not just a call but a video call.
A Black man in a black trench coat wearing an eye patch, and Agent Coulson stood beside him.
When the Black man saw Tony's side and noticed Harvey Anberaka, his eyes flashed.
"Tony Stark, nice to meet you."
"I am Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Coulson's superior."
"And Harvey Anberaka, our Agent offended you last time. I apologize to you on behalf of that Agent."
"I'm sorry."
Nick Fury took the initiative to introduce himself.
"Director Nick Fury, S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
"Didn't you used to be called Homeland Something Bureau?"
Tony Stark found the name a bit strange.
"You can just call me Fury."
"Given that not only you, Tony Stark, have mentioned our agency's name being too long."
"Harvey Anberaka also said our agency's name is too long."
"So we've been considering shortening the name."
"After considering it for some time, we finally came up with a simple, direct, and reassuring name that makes people feel at ease the moment they hear it."
Nick Fury explained.
"I don't know if the name S.H.I.E.L.D. sounds reassuring, but it's certainly much easier to remember than the previous one."
Tony Stark said directly, his words making people want to hit him.
Harvey himself sat down directly and started playing on his phone.
Nick Fury felt a bit helpless seeing that Harvey Anberaka didn't even look at him directly.
However, he also knew that Natasha's previous actions could easily leave a terrible impression.
Nick Fury wasn't too surprised to see Harvey Anberaka at Stark Manor.
Harvey Anberaka currently held a large amount of shares in Tony Stark's company.
And almost everyone in New York's upper class knew that Harvey Anberaka and Tony Stark had become friends.
Even if Harvey Anberaka didn't have superpowers, the favor of the Goddess of Fortune, which seemed to be with him, meant that Harvey Anberaka's future achievements wouldn't be low. Both of them were rich, so it wasn't strange that they were birds of a feather.
"Let's move on from the name for now."
"Let's talk about serious business."
"Regarding your father Howard Stark's belongings, we did find some things."
"However, your father was involved in very important missions for the Military, so his Legacy belongings became Military secrets."
Nick Fury leaned forward, crossing his hands on the table in front of him, and said with a serious expression.
"Beating around the bush, you just want to say that if I want to get it, it won't be that easy, right?"
Tony Stark had dealt with the Military quite a few times, so he certainly knew this kind of rhetoric.
"No, no, no, it's understandable to return your father's belongings to you."
"The main thing is, before handing them over to you, I want to understand a few things."
"You are thirty-nine now, and after all these years, you've never thought of asking the Military if there were any remaining belongings of your father."
"But now you've thought of it. May I ask why?"
Nick Fury shook his head and said.
"Because of this."
Tony Stark pulled open his clothes, revealing the Ark Reactor.
He would rather say it was because of the Ark Reactor on his chest than admit it was because of Harvey Anberaka's reminder that he thought of asking for it.
"This thing is called the Ark Reactor. It's very useful, and it's key to me becoming Iron Man."
"It's just that for some reason, I need to wear it constantly and can't take it off."
"I want to find a new element to replace it, but I've tried all the other elements on the periodic table."
"The result is obvious: I haven't found one."
"So I thought of my father, who is as much a genius as I am."
"I wanted to see if my father left anything behind that could give me some inspiration."
Tony Stark's face showed a complex expression as he explained the reason.
"I understand. I'll have Agent Coulson send it to you."
"I hope your father's belongings can bring you some help."
Nick Fury looked at the Ark Reactor on Tony Stark's chest, which was flickering with white light, without much shock, and said.
If Tony Stark hadn't found a substitute element, S.H.I.E.L.D. had something that could alleviate the symptoms of palladium poisoning.
But alleviation is always a temporary solution, not a cure. Tony Stark still needed to find a way to survive.
The Iron Man Armor that Tony Stark created had incredibly astonishing combat power.
After all, this was equivalent to a fighter jet in human form, and it was even more convenient to move than a fighter jet. It could be said that it was a non-superpower user comparable to a superpower user.
But if Tony Stark didn't have much life left, then such a rare superhero, who had the potential to be recruited into the Avengers, would be gone.
"As soon as possible."
Tony Stark's complex expression disappeared, and he nodded slightly.
