Chapter 29 - 29

I'm out of options. I've already tried every element I know of."

"If I don't find you, there's no direction to even begin."

"Is it that the World you super-powered individuals come into contact with has elements I don't understand at all, or have never even heard of?"

Tony Stark's face showed some helplessness as he heard Harvey's words and spoke.

"It has nothing to do with the World super-powered individuals come into contact with, but there's no harm in telling you."

Harvey considered for a moment upon hearing this, then spoke.

Originally, as long as S.H.I.E.L.D. approached Tony Stark and learned about the difficulties he was facing, they would provide him with assistance.

However, he could slightly advance the process.

"It has nothing to do with the World super-powered individuals come into contact with?"

"Then which of these elements can be substituted?"

"Or is it that I need to consider the chemical changes brought about by combination?"

Tony Stark asked with extreme confusion upon hearing this.

"It's not these elements, but rather you need to create a new element to replace palladium and stabilize the Ark Reactor."

"That way, your Iron Man Armor will be even more powerful."

Harvey said upon hearing this.

"Create a new element?"

Tony Stark's mind immediately went into a brainstorm upon hearing this.

"Tony Stark, I remember your father was a genius scientist just like you."

"Perhaps you can gain some inspiration from the things your father left behind."

Harvey reminded him upon hearing this.

"Things my father left behind?"

"He left too hastily... he didn't leave anything."

Tony Stark's expression became somewhat complex as he mentioned his father, and he spoke.

"Indeed, your father left this company and immense wealth to you."

"But don't forget which party Stark Industries, founded by your father, initially had the deepest connection with."

Harvey did not state it directly but guided Tony Stark to discover it.

Tony Stark pondered upon hearing this, recalling the history of his father controlling Stark Industries, and combining it with the organization currently most deeply connected with Stark Industries, he arrived at an answer in his mind.

"But because of the Ark Reactor, Stark Industries' relationship with the Military is not as good as it used to be."

"Where should I go to the Military to request my father's belongings left with them?"

Tony Stark, considering the current situation, began to think.

"On the surface, your relationship with the Military is indeed a bit strained, and they might make things difficult for you."

"But isn't there still someone who extended an olive branch to you?"

Harvey said upon hearing this.

"Are you talking about that Homeland Something Bureau?"

"Do they have such high-level clearance?"

"You know, they even consider two million U.S. dollars to be a high price."

Tony Stark realized who was being referred to when he heard about the Military extending an olive branch to him, but his tone was somewhat disdainful.

In his opinion, the ambition of the Avengers they wanted to form was good, but in terms of status and power, Tony Stark did not think that Homeland Something Bureau had a high status.

After all, it was only two million U.S. dollars, not two hundred million, and they called that a high price; that Homeland Something Bureau must be quite poor.

Or perhaps that Homeland Something Bureau was heavily exploited, and although they were called Agents, in reality, they were just miserable laborers.

Harvey, hearing that even two million U.S. dollars required layers of approval, naturally knew Tony Stark was referring to Nick Fury's efforts to raise money to meet him.

"They are a bit poor, but since they claim to be Agents specializing in strange incidents, their clearance and status within the Military should not be low."

"Besides, whether their clearance is high or not, you'll know if you ask."

So, Harvey also spoke with understanding.

"Okay, then I'll ask."

Tony Stark, hearing Harvey's words, thought about it and decided to ask.

"Jarvis, connect me with Coulson."

Tony Stark instructed directly, and Jarvis immediately carried out the instruction.

And Agent Coulson answered in less than five seconds.

"Mr. Tony Stark, is there anything you need help with?"

Agent Coulson's voice immediately echoed in the Underground Research Lab.

Because of Agent Coulson's almost instantaneous answer, Tony Stark specifically glanced at Harvey.

Harvey, however, pretended not to see Tony Stark's look, which contained both a hint of showing off and a complaint.

"Agent Coulson, my father, Howard Stark, had deep connections with the Military in the past and should have collaborated with them quite a bit."

"I wonder if your Military has any of my father, Howard Stark's, belongings?"

When Tony Stark spoke these words, there was a slight pause in his speech, clearly indicating that mentioning his father made his mood somewhat complex.

"Does Howard Stark have any remaining belongings?"

"I can help you investigate information about your esteemed father."

"Please give me an hour. I will help you investigate whether your esteemed father has any belongings that have not been delivered to you."

Agent Coulson, hearing that Tony Stark actually needed help, saw this as a very good opportunity to build a friendship, so he agreed directly without any unnecessary words.

"Okay, then I'm counting on you."

Tony Stark, hearing that he could actually help with the investigation, glanced at Harvey Anberaka, then said seriously.

"Leave it to me."

Agent Coulson responded upon hearing this, then hung up the communication.

"If he really helps me find it, then I can say I owe their bureau a favor."

Tony Stark, seeing Agent Coulson's excited and quick work ethic, as if he had been injected with hormones, spoke.

"Usually, to obtain something, one has to pay a price."

"However, it's just about getting back your father's remaining belongings. The extent of this favor depends on how you perceive it."

Harvey said indifferently upon hearing this.

"Returning the belongings can indeed only be considered returning something to its rightful owner, but if I discover a new element through my father's belongings and improve the Ark Reactor, then this favor will not be small."

"Of course, if it really is developed, I won't forget your kindness in reminding me, Harvey Anberaka."

Tony Stark said upon hearing this.

"These are but trifles."

Harvey looked at Tony Stark and smiled, saying.

Although Tony Stark has always been narcissistic and arrogant, and his words are often harsh, being clear about gratitude and grudges has always been one of his strengths.

Even if Tony Stark doesn't say it outwardly, he will remember the kindness others have shown him in his heart.

As long as the opportunity arises, Tony Stark will find a way to repay that kindness.

Therefore, Harvey never minded giving Tony Stark a little guidance.

After all, once a good friendship is established, Tony Stark will be a very good friend.
