Minjeong stepped out of the brightly lit convenience store, the night air hitting her like a cold wave.
The street was quiet-too peaceful but she likes it.
She pulled her jacket tighter around her and started down the sidewalk toward the park nearby.
As she passed under a flickering streetlamp, she sensed a presence.
She turned sharply-no one was there.
Just as relief settled, her phone suddenly buzzed.
A message appeared:
"Saw you today. You look beautiful."
Her pulse quickened. She didn't know the number, but the words felt too personal, too deliberate.
Not again...
Turning to the opposite direction, Minjeong's steps quickened.
Her phone on her hand were continuously vibrating, notifying her that someone's still messaging her.
Then it stopped.
Curious and uneasy, she lift her phone up, reading the last message:
"You can't runaway from me... honey."
