Scene: Konohagakure – The Hokage's Residence
Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, stared at the little girl in stunned silence. Biwako, his wife, had her eyebrows raised so high they nearly disappeared into her hairline.
Mya, completely oblivious to the weight of her words, tilted her head. "What? It's true, right? My big brother says ninjas can make copies of themselves. So… why don't you just make one do the boring stuff while you do family things?"
Hiruzen opened his mouth, then closed it. Then opened it again.
"Well…" he began, scratching his beard. "Shadow Clones do distribute the workload, but maintaining too many for long periods is exhausting, and—"
"But you're the Hokage," Mya interrupted, as if that explained everything. "Aren't you supposed to be super strong?"
Biwako couldn't hold back anymore. She burst into laughter, clutching her stomach. "Oh, this is priceless! Outsmarted by a child!"
Hiruzen sighed, but there was a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Mya… you might just be the wisest person in this village."
Mya beamed, clearly pleased with herself. "So does that mean you'll do it? You'll make a clone so you can eat dinner with your family tonight?"
Hiruzen glanced at Biwako, who was now giving him a pointed look.
"…Yes," he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. "I suppose I could."
"Good!" Mya clapped her hands. "Because my mom says people who don't spend time with their families end up old and lonely. And you already look kinda old."
Biwako wheezed. Hiruzen groaned.
And just like that, a five-year-old civilian girl had solved the Hokage's biggest problem—with nothing but brutal honesty and childlike logic.
