There are two types of powers in the world, elemental powers and chaotic powers. Wielder of elemental powers are known as white mages while those who wield chaotic powers are known as black mages.
All early magicians were the wielder of chaotic powers, chaotic powers can acquired by one channeling their essence to the void, giving them chaotic power which can defy nature and bend it to one's will. Unholy magic, dark magic, occult magic, blood magic, necromancy and all other types of abhorrent powers were possible with void energy one recieve.
Because, the chaotic powers were so abhorrent and volatile, many tried to oppose such powers and their wielders, but they were no match to the chaotic powers. Eventually, the wielder of chaotic powers become the ruler of world. They used their powers to shape the world to heir liking and tried to maintain order.
Unfortunately, some become become drunk on their power and abused their magic and authority to fulfill all sorts of their selfish gains. Many were victims of these tyrants bacame pawn for their political games.
One day, a hero appeared, his name is David Green, he wanted to help people to fight those who abused the power of chaos, and bring equality and balance to this world. While the tyrants were drunk om their power, he worked in secret, he soon discovered, that void energy is only one half of supernatural force, the other half of supernatural force is called arcane energy which can acquired by one channeling their essence to the elements that creates and binds the world together, this power is called elemental power.
Unlike chaotic power which is volatile and alters the nature, the elemental powers is stable and represents the very nature that chaotic powers defies. Holy magic, aether magic, pyromancy, cryomancy, and all other powers were possible with arcane energy one recieve.
After pioneering this new power, David gathered all those who are oppressed, and taught them this new magic, which fortunately other eagerly embraced as the elemental powers were not abhorrent like chaotic powers. As the time passed more and more people started to learn the elemental powers.
Soon, David and his army of white mages fought their oppressors, the battle was fierce, the powerful void energies and arcane energies clashing with each other, eventually the white mages won. With this David believed the order is restored, or so he thought.
The white mages began not only attack not one those blavk mages who abused their powers, but also those black mages who used their power for good purposes. This led to bloodshed everywhere, white mages and black mages were after each other's lives and wanted to enforce their version of order.
David was upset the situation didn't change, and it seems that although the tyranny was over the world was still as chaos. David tried to stop the bloodshed, but no matter, what he does, the situation does not improve, finally David gave up, and he choose the life in exile after losing faith oh humanity, believing that everyone except him were incompetant, and does not deserve wield the power of elements or chaos.
Many year later.....
Robert Rivers, an average boy and an otaku, born in modern-day earth, a world with no supernatural powers, but is technologically advanced, however while the boy boy is average, he get decent grades in studies and is good at sports, his hobby is not only otaku stuffs but also swordmanship, he even won in competition of fencing, even brought a gold medal in state tournament. It can be said the swordmanship is only good traits about him.
One day, while returning to his home from school, he found a child on road about to be hit by a truck, Robert tried to save the child and successful in doing so, but in process he got hit by truck instead.
Robert who was gravely injured thought that his life came to an end, but fate had other plans, when he open his eyes again he was in middle of the forest.
Robert checked everywhere, he was still in his school uniform, had his school bag, his injuries are gone and his clothes were not blood soaked.
Robert checked whether he had cheat skills or system or even status screen like those isekai protagonists from comics and novels but he found nothing.
Robert starts walking. In forest he found many plants, trees and animals that could not be found on earth, he is now sure he is transmigrated to another world, suddenly he found a dead body near a tree. The man was wearing an armor, which seems to cracked beyond repair, there was also a dead creature near him, it seems that the man fought to last breath, and won but succumbed to his injuries soon after.
Robert searched the man's belongings. The man's armor is of no use, his sword was nearly broken, much to Robert's disappointment.
But when Robert searched further, and found a magic bag, inside there were potions, and two books.
Robert checked the book and found the book is written in english, much to David's surprise and delight.
Robert read the book, and found the one both is the basic white magic spellbook while the other is the basic black magic spellbook, both books also contain how to obtain the power to wield these spells.
Robert wondered which power to choose, but sadly both powers were equally tempting, so, Robert couldn't choose.
Suddenly, a ridiculous idea came to Robert's mind.
