Chapter 36 - MISTAKE AND NEW TECHNIQUE

In a private room used for making deals between warriors. Wesley removed a fruit that released a refreshing aroma and showed it to Shren. 'how many credits do you think I can trade with this fruit? If swallowed it can fasten the tempering of the body at the early stage'

Shren looked at the fruit and was shocked. Fruits like these were only found in the inner rings. She kept on wondering how Wesley had got this fruit. Its presence would bring either bring benefits or problems.

'Where did you get this fruit?' Wesley looked at Shren's scared and shocked look and knew he had made a mistake by bringing out the fruit.

He put it back and told her not worry about it. He cupped his hands, bowed in thanks and apologized for wasting her time, Wesley then requested her not to tell anyone about the fruit and walked out of the room.

Shren did not know what to do in such a situation, if Wesley was not somehow connected to Desker, she would use all her power to get the fruit. She looked easy going but she was not a soft persimmon.

She tapped on her comm and Desker's voice came through.

'yes' there was hesitation in his voice. 'lesly just came to see me and gave me a huge surprise' she then went on to explain what had transpired between them.

'Just let it go, I will handle it' Desker told her and the comm grayed out. Shren sighed out in exasperation.

'Not even asking at how I am doing?' she snorted but there was still a worried frown on her face.

'You have to be careful' you could see that she cared about Desker.

….....

On Desker's side, he went to the seeker organization and purchased a higher level training technique. He then went straight to Wesley's quarter because he knew the boy would be worrying over his actions.

When Wesley opened the door, Desker entered the room and started pacing. 'I do not know why you are so desperate to increase your strength but here' he threw a scroll to him.

Wesley grabbed it and opened it. There was an entry level training technique and although it was still of low level but it was still better than the one he was using and he could use it until the organ refining stage.

He looked up and raised a brow in question. 'I bought it for you, don't tell the rest. I know you are stronger than all of us even if you try very hard to hide it. We still noticed it. In order not to bring you down, I suggest you start hunting alone for the days we are resting and then hunt with us when we meet.' Desker said and put up his hand to stop Wesley from talking.

'I have selfish reasons as to why I am telling you to do this. I noticed earlier that you hardly get injured and you always have extra strength. So the faster your strength grows the safer we will be and we will also get more credits. That is a win win situation for me.'

'So what do your say' Desker stopped his monologue and asked Wesley.

Wesley at this moment was shocked at everything Desker had revealed. 'so all along I couldn't hide my strength from them.' he thought sarcastically but he was still thankful to them for not revealing his strength to others.

'Thank you forth brother, I will not let your trust in me go down the drain.' there was a heartfelt smile on his face.

'hahaa, now that is settled I will let you decide on what to do. We shall reconvene in a week's time so the rest of the days you can just go to the mines and hone your strength and don't worry about Shren, she will not say anything.' Desker laughed out and left Wesley who was still pondering over the free pie that had fallen into his lap.

'Phew' Wesley sighed and read the scroll again.

'mighty spirit bull from tactic' it depicted a raging fighting spiritual bull. If one trained in this technique, the entire body would be tempered making it better than other techniques.

Without ado Wesley started his training, it was arduous at first but he had a strong foundation and got the hang of it in a day.

He could feel his tendons were being infused with worldly aura faster than the previous technique.

Wesley would cultivate for a day and then go to the mines to fight the mutant beasts and since he was alone he truly let go and fought to his heart's content. His progress during this period was so fast that in just a mere four days, he had finished tempering his tendons.

Now came the hurdle of tempering his bones. Whenever he would cultivate, he could feel a slight itch in his bones but from the notes in the scroll that Desker had given him, it said that when a warrior started tempering his bones, it would feel like ants were biting him and the itch would unbearable but he only felt an itch.

'What should I do?' he thought worriedly over it. 'may be when I meet Desker he will have a solution.'

Wesley at this moment was standing at the entrance of the mines and this time he was planning on going in deeper to fight stronger beasts since he had just finished the tendon tempering stage.
