Chapter 34 - STRANGE HEALER ENCOUNTER

The seeker organization was not anything like what Wesley had seen. It was made of chambers which catered for different services, healing chambers, training, sparring, cultivation and sleeping quarters. They also had a bounty chamber where you could place and retrieve bounties, you just had to pay credits for them.

Today, they needed the healing chamber. Once you enter the healing chamber, a healer who is free will be notified through their comm and come to you.

They had just arrived and dirk had fainted due to his injuries, Rum had gone quiet and Desker had started his old job of pacing. They were all waiting for the healer to turn up.

'When will they come, we have been waiting for almost an hour and my brother is not improving,' Desker shouted in frustration.

As soon as he said that, the door to the chamber shimmered and opened. A graceful girl who looked to be around ten years and wearing a pristine white robe entered the room with two warriors behind her.

Wesley was surprised not at the girl who entered but by the strong aura he felt from the two men who had followed the girl in.

He became vigilant and stepped closer to Dirk and released a bit of his own aura. The men swiveled their eyes to him and there was a touch of surprise in their eyes as they felt a faint threat from the boy.

'Stop' one of the men hurried to the girl and stood in front of her.

'Move your body and don't disturb me, I have work to do. Don't you see there is an injured man who needs healing.' the girl pushed the man out of of the way with a frown on her face. She was not happy with his interference.

To Wesley, when he heard her voice, it sounded crisp and soothing to the nerves and he almost lost his vigilance. Her voice was like water streaming down a mountain and could lull someone into obedience.

'What?' Wesley shook off this feeling and was secretly alarmed since he found himself almost shifting his body away from Dirk. He looked at the girl and felt fear creeping up on him.

He knew if there were in a fight and he lost his senses like that, that would spell doom for him as a warrior.

The girl looked at Wesley and let out a gasp in surprise, Wesley was the first person who had a low cultivation she had seen to come out of the spell that she had used to calm people down since she had started practicing it.

She looked at the others, they were all standing there like lambs ready for slaughter, even her bodyguards had subconsciously moved away due to the order she had commanded.

The only person who had not moved was Wesley and he looked more vigilant than before.

'Tsk, hehe, my name is Rein and I am your healer for today.' she turned to Wesley and introduced herself with a faint smile on her face. 'this is interesting' she thought in happiness. She had been looking for something to relieve her boredom in this city and now she had found it.

'If you want your friend to get better, it is fine if you move and let me do my job?' she let out a crisp laugh and requested of Wesley.

Wesley stared at her for while, she did not look like a healer and he knew she was important since she had bodyguards who seemed to be stronger than Desker.

He shifted his body slightly and let her pass to heal Dirk, if he saw anything wrong he would use all his power to stop her regardless of the consequences.

Rein noticed this small action and ignored it, she went went up to Dirk and touched his chest with her palm and green light shot out and covered Dirk's entire body.

Wesley focused on this spectacle and noticed the serious face of the girl. He finally let out a sigh in relief when he saw his brother was breathing better.

After a while, the green light died out and Rein lifted her palm off Dirk's body.

She swayed a bit and Wesley held her shoulders to support her. Rein shivered at the contact, this was the first male apart from her father who touched her body.

Wesley noticed that this action was intimate and stepped back.

'Thank you for you help.' he finally told her in order to break the silent atmosphere that had cropped up.

Rein let go of the feeling and shrugged, 'you need to pay the credits to the organization, I was just doing my job.' she turned and told him with an impassive face.

Wesley stared at her face close up and noticed her porcelain face was doted with two beautiful pale green eyes. 'she will grow up to be a beauty.' he thought in wonder.

Wesley calmed his mind and went to a panel near the door. He tapped on it and it lit with a a blue light. Words creeped up on the panel telling him he was supposed to pay a hundred credits for the service.

'Huh are you sure this is correct? ' he turned to her and asked. 'yes my services are beyond doubt but if you don't believe it, you can leave me with your comm for any complaint in the future' she uttered in serious tone.

Wesley looked at her and saw the amusement in her else. 'no thank you' he turned and placed his comm to the panel. 'She looks like trouble' he thought.

'Pay a hundred credits, please confirm?' Wesley confirmed with his thoughts and his credits shrunk by a hundred.

He only found out later from Desker that his comm could work as transaction tool which was highly convenient. All accounts had to be registered to the federation if you wanted to use these services. he had done so on Desker's encouragement.

'What a bummer, Mr. thank you for the credits and I will see you next time' she let out a chortle and walked out while tapping on her bodyguards. Wesley frowned at that comment but let it go since he thought they would never meet again.

They came to with a surprise shout as if they had just woken up, looked around and saw their mistress leaving and also hurriedly left.

Wesley tapped on his brothers and they also woke up.

'What happened, is the healer here yet? Desker asked Wesley

When he heard this question, he was scared out of his wits.

'I really need to avoid her' he thought in finality.
