Episode 1
Two doctors stood inside a high-security laboratory, deeply engrossed in their research.
Both wore face masks and white latex gloves, their shoes covered with blue plastic protectors. White lab coats hung neatly on their shoulders. One was busy preparing a certain medicine, while the other adjusted IV drips beside two hospital beds placed a short distance apart.
On the beds lay two unconscious male patients, both lying straight and still. Oxygen masks covered their faces, and thin tubes connected their hands to IV drips. Inside the drip bags, a white liquid medicine slowly flowed.
The two men had been in a coma for three years now.
The doctor standing by the beds turned to the other, who was peering into a microscope.
> "Poor souls… three years of sleeping here. Their families must have mourned them long ago, thinking they were dead."
The doctor beside the bed was noting heartbeat, blood pressure, and other vitals into a file.
> "It's not really their fault. Imagine—someone brings you news that your loved one died in a chemical factory accident, their body burned beyond recognition, and buried elsewhere. What would you feel? Maybe back then their families doubted the news… but with time, they must have believed it."
He sighed.
> "And here they are… alive, yet dead in the eyes of their loved ones."
Just then, the phone of the doctor working on the vaccine began to ring.
The doctor by the beds walked over and said,
> "Go ahead, answer it. I'll inject the vaccine into them."
The other picked up the phone.
> "Alright. They're ready for the test anyway."
Saying this, he stepped out of the lab to take the call.
The remaining doctor picked up a small glass vial filled with a crimson liquid. He filled two syringes, then stood between the two beds.
First, he inserted the needle into the left patient's IV drip. The red liquid mixed with the white solution, turning the entire drip a deep, blood-like red.
Then, he repeated the same for the patient on the right.
A minute passed.
The patient on the left began to twitch slightly. The doctor stood beside him—but his attention remained fixed on the right-side patient.
The left patient's movements grew stronger. Slowly, he sat up in bed. His eyes snapped open—completely white.
With a sudden snarl, he lunged at the doctor, biting his arm. The doctor screamed.
At that exact moment, the right patient awoke as well, his eyes the same unnatural white. He too attacked, sinking his teeth into the doctor's shoulder.
The second doctor, still near the lab's entrance and speaking on the phone, heard the muffled scream.
> "I'll call you back," he said, slipping his phone into his coat pocket.
He pushed the lab door open. His eyes widened—both patients were on top of his colleague, tearing into him.
Confused but alarmed, he rushed forward. The injured doctor was still alive, writhing and gasping in agony. He tried to pull the attackers away, but one of them bit his hand.
Suddenly, both patients collapsed, falling unconscious again—coma still holding them in its grip.
The doctor grabbed his phone and urgently called for an ambulance.
---
Scene Change:
Male nurses hurriedly wheeled the injured doctor out on a stretcher, loading him into the ambulance. Two nurses climbed in with him, while the driver started the engine.
The two patients and the second doctor remained inside the lab—no one outside was to know about the research. Years ago, when these men had been exposed to hazardous chemicals in the factory, the company had paid a huge sum for their treatment. Officially, they were receiving legal medical care. Unofficially, their families were told they were dead—so no one would demand to see them.

Scene Change:
The ambulance sped down the road, weaving through traffic.
Up ahead, the light turned red. Vehicles slowed, and soon the ambulance was boxed in.
Suddenly, one of the nurses staggered out of the back, clutching his neck. Blood poured between his fingers. He collapsed onto the street, motionless.
Bystanders rushed forward.
> "What happened? He's bleeding!"
But within seconds, the man stopped moving entirely.
From the back of the ambulance came violent shaking and muffled screams. A horrified witness dared to open the rear doors—only to see the injured doctor, now a bloodthirsty monster, tearing at the nurse's face.
The zombie-like doctor turned, spotting the man at the door. With a feral roar, he leapt forward, tackling him onto the street.
At the same time, the driver—now infected—lunged at the passenger beside him. Chaos erupted.
People screamed and scattered in every direction, but some were not fast enough… and became the next victims of the spreading horror.
