Where am i, was all I thought. Last this I remember is driver and a bright light coming towards me. Then it hit me, I don't see hands or a body. As everything started to drown out a voice came.
Hello host this is e evolution tree. You died and given a chance to live again, you will go back on earth in 1980. You will live as any animal in the prehistoric area. You will get to choose wish animal to pick now.

2. Wooly Mammoth.
3. Elasmosaurus platyurus.
4. Quetzal coatlcoatlus
You can pick any four, you will not lose any chosen species. Only one will be added after you picked one of these four.
After seeing what ever this is I still freaked out. I died my family? What will happen to them.
Your insurance already covered it and a little help from us… you will have to earn points to get a new evaluation, from land, sea or air.
I looked everywhere to find that voice but can't see nor pinpoint where it's coming from. I faced the screen and the choices again and gave it a consideration.
"Will I have to start as a baby when I choose?"

That was not a bad pick really but where in North America, Canada or the USA or even Central American pretty cool. Doesn't really matter still a good place.
"Fine. Two land, one air and one sea to chose from, they a really good choices. I can fly if I chose the quetzal but will be somewhat hard to hide from town or cities especially air space with all the planes. Mammoth is the other would be cool but still hard to hide. then again maybe not. Elasmosaurus is better got the whole sea to explore, could fuck around with the governments and show up on the coastal city's or the boats. The dire wolf is also good. Will mistaken me as a normal wolf for a time.
Many thoughts came to mind and the mammoth is winning slightly.
"I choose the mammoth."
After choosing everything started to disintegrate, the place where I was slowly sucking itself in or something. Then it happened. A bright flashed blinded me.
As I started to slowly gain consciousness. I can smell the forest air, I can hear a river flow not far away from me. I open my eyes and slowly get up. I can tell I'm not human because everything feels weird.
My movement is awkward and clumsy. I look around and then down I can see tusk two of them. Black fur covers my body and heavy thuds can be heard when I step forward. The suns out as I can see the rays shining through the trees.
As I travel through the the forest and admiring the scenery. I seen deer, squirrels and birds around me. They stared at me like they never seen me before wish on the contrary they haven't because I'm from the ice age.
I break small trees to clear a path forward towards the water stream I hear. Sometimes I have to go around because the forest is to dense or I'm not strong enough to knock down a tree.
After some detours I finally made it to the stream but first I would have to leave the forest area. To get to the stream of water I would need to go across the opening. Which is grassy and have some small trees sticking out. As I made my way out my tusks are the first to show them my face.
I look both ways. To my right I just see trees and more clearing and a small patch of bush. My left there are trees but it looks like it slopes down can't see beyond that. I took one step out and waited for anything. My ears listened for anything but all I hear is water flowing and birds.
I took another and another and another till my whole body was out. I took slow steps still looking right since my left there's only a slope. As I'm half way through the clearing I can see the river more and it's a big one.
When I finally made it to the water I looking at my reflection and I can see myself. Black fur nice looking tusk. I know I'm not an adult because I would have been taller and not get stuck by trees. After looking at my self I put my trunk in the river and started to suck in to drink water. Which was weird and is a weird feeling.
When I was done I went to the left to see the river drop off the ledge. As I made it to the edge I can see I'm on a ledge and can see the valley below me. But that's not all I seen I can see a road not far and a trail cutting through the trees. As I follow the path I look down and see a open area looks like a camping ground.
My mammoth eyes open wide and it just struck me. "Im in a fucking camp site. I need to go now! Before anyone sees me." Was all I thought as I turned. it was to late. I can hear them and see them. People.
-POV change-
Frank was a 35 year old guy with his family hiking up this hill to go see the top of the water fall. His wife Amanda was infront of him with three of there kids. All ranging from 5 to 10 year olds. The youngest is holding onto his wife's hand. While frank with his video recorder resting on his shoulder filming his wife and son. While his other two are slightly up ahead talking.
"Love look at the camera and say hi." Was all frank said. Amanda grab there son and turn to look at frank. She grab her sons hand and both turn to wave.
"Say hi!" Both laughed and they started moving back up the trail again. "Honey did you bring the stuff for the picnic." "Yes got it right here."
"Are you still filming?" She ask with curiously.
"Yes. I want to catch memories because one day they will be grown and will not need us."
"Don't say that."
"Yeah dad! I won't never need you." His little son said with voice.
Both laughed and caught up to the rest of the kids that were waiting at the top. "Come on father! We are almost there."
"I know baby. Let's go."
Both kids went forward then Amanda then frank. As frank records the scenery and his family his oldest ask his dad what's that.
As frank pans his camera while still looking throw the lens on the video recorder. He hears his wife gasps loudly. Through the camera he sees something black and fury looking over the cliff but it was looking at his family now. On the video it only caught a glimpse of the black figure.
As frank takes his eye off the leans he sees it. As a second goes by the fur beast makes a run for it towards the woods the he came out of. Amanda scream that was brought frank out of his shock he quickly gets his video up and tries to film whatever he just seen. He only caught short couple seconds of the black beast he seen. Before it disappears into the forest.
Both kids ran behind there mother as she was the closest to them. Frank quickly grabs his wife and kids and started to take them back to the trail and back to the camp site fast.
-POV change-
I quickly ran through the forest away from the family that just seen me. "Fuck! Fuck! I got caught. People seen me I need to leave this area fast." As branches break off my body as I ran till I can hear my breathing.
After running for some time I stop and rested against a big tree. I need to lay down was all I thought and a crashed on my side breathing heavily.
After some time I began to notice something on the right side on my vision. A thought later it open. A screen of sorts.

Looking at my stats I like it enough so I got up and started to leave this place. Away from people.
What he didn't know the family that seen him went back into town and started to speak to people but they didn't believe them. Even when frank says he got it on film. Which people call him a liar even. Some people watch the film and don't know what to make of it. They want to believe there friend but they were to narrow minded or just didn't want to accept what they seen.
Frank took the video to a specialist and try and do something with it. Clear it better or anything to prove what he seen out there.
