For those of you who have experienced how cruel the world can be, whether it is losing a loved one, being betrayed by your those who you were your closest to… losing yourself to evil inner demons or finding yourself in a place that you feel forever trapped in. I hope that you found yourself, I hope that you found a path, a road that you could walk freely, wherever you are. I hope you get up from the trauma, the past, and the pain the world has inflicted on you, because…

 I surely didn't…

Let's start at the beginning, to a time when ẉ̶́ḙ̶͗… were just a little girl.

It was December 25th, 20017, a very snowy night in Ser, Vineline, a world not like yours, very different and surreal.

"Stay calm, we're almost there"

"Ugh~ I can't take it any longer!!! She's Coming Out!"

"Dayson, Call your grandmother!

tell them we're here!"

"Yes father!" the boy cried.

As his mother screamed in pain he hurriedly grabbed his phone.

Beep!*

"Hello?"

"We're here at the hospital please come quickly!" the man cried, "Mother- she's giving a premature birth right now!" rhe boy added.

My mother had not even had me for 8 months till she gave birth. Yet when she did, she said 'it was the best decision in her entire life.'

Yet I can't help but disagree…

As the nurses transported the woman into the hospital, an older woman with fading red hair hurriedly followed behind them.

"Nen!" She yelled as she held onto the stretcher. "Your life's in a dire situation. Your child, she-" she paused to collect her thoughts. "She's in a critical condition due to your high affinity for N-Cells. It is also taking a toll on your body!" she explained, "Right now… it's either your life or the child's…" she said solemnly.

Nen cried out loud as the pain trailed its way down her spine; she'd be dead from the prominent pain she's heavily endured if not for the Cells.

"Is there any way to save the both of us?" She asked, Nen was desperately clinging for a life with her child. She didn't want her to live a life without her mother, yet if they couldn't find a way for it; she'd willingly give herself up for a third and last child.

"...

No…

I- I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do to save the both of you…" The doctor said as she put her hand down, her arms began stuttering uncontrollably.

In the distance, a man in a geeky science coat came thrashing down the hallway. He was tall and had bright red hair that covered his forehead, topped with circular, round glasses that overshadowed his bright brown and orange freckles.

He paused as he reached the labor room. "Mother!" he cried, looking at the doctor next to Nen. His hands pressed against the glass. He was nervous, yet also happy, as his first child was about to be born. "Vallen!?" The doctor his mother yelled, after a quick explanation she left Vallen with 2 choices. It was either his wife or his daughter she explained quickly as she went back into the room to continue the operation. Treading back to the waiting room Vallen walked around in circles thinking about a way to save both his wife and his daughter.

"Come on Vallen, think. Think! There must be a way to save both of them. But how? Think Vallen, come on!"

Vallen thought of many possibilities that could save both his wife and his daughter, but every time he thought he found a solution, it shattered as he did not see perfection.

'Nen has a great abundance of N-Cells, so if we use a hyper deceleration reactor to slow down her body's Cell-force, then it'll be possible for her to give birth as a normal human being temporarily. The only problem is being of a way to dispose of the excess energy. By connecting a tube from far enough away that feeds off the energy of access Cells… it would suffice as a compatible solution!'

"The solution is a hundred percent!" he yelled in excitement. Quickly gathering his bag, Vallen grabbed Dayson and made his way toward the labor room. "Mother!" he yelled as he explained the solution he made up in just 5 minutes.

 "And...

The only way both of you can make it through this is by using his 'hyper deceleration reactor' to slow down your N-cells.

The problem though…

Vallen's reactor hasn't been tested..." she explained followed by a large sigh.

"It will work, Trust me!" Vallen shouted through the glass.

"Vall," his mother said in a beaten voice.

"I know it will work, N, you have to trust me on This! Mom-"

"No way Vall!" his mother shouted back while hastening the other doctors to keep at the procedure.

"Your technology is unstable and your research is even more unreliable. If just a sip of the tongue goes wrong… you could lose your life as well as your daughter! You'd better just-"

"Do you think your hospitals equipment is any better?" Vallen yelled.

"This old and outdated tech is nothing compared to-"

"It'll be okay Mrs. VerVellin," Nen said in a soft tone.

"But N!" she yelled worriedly. "You know what will happen if something goes wrong, you've seen it before..." Vall's mother said with a sense of guilt in her eyes. But Nen smiled brightly and ensured that she'd come back safe and sound with her daughter. "When I come back, I'd like you to name my daughter for me. Till then, think of all the beautiful names you can think of for me, okay Mrs. VerVellin? You can do that for me, right?"

"...Yes, Yes I can" she assured as Vallen quickly took over the labor room. His team came rushing in and they worked together to prepare everything for safe transport.

"Kon, prepare to launch the teleporter!"

"Yes!"

To save the both of us my father, Vallen, a researcher and head developer at a place called the Foundary used his `never before tested' atom reactor on his own wife and soon to be daughter. What he thought he knew about his own creation showed him what he didn't want to see.

"N, are you ready honey?"

She coughed as blue blood gushed out of her mouth "Just hurry it up!" she yelled as her body was falling stiff from the pain.

It took five minutes for the machine to fire up, and an extra five for them to safely lay Nen down. But almost instantly as Vallen directed his colleagues to start the procedure Nen's vitals became stable. A deep breath could be heard from inside the reactor.

"Nen~? You doing okay!?" Vallen called out.

"I'm okay, I'm okay," she responded. Vallen sighed out of relief. His plan worked, and there were no mistakes that happened in the process. The only leftover factor now was up to Nen, all she had to do was give birth to their premature child safely. "My love-" her voice faded, "K̶u̶v̶ ̴h̴l̶u̷b̸ ̵k̷o̸j̷"

Just when everything went black, and in the corner of the control room as the emergency lights came on a small shadowed figure could be seen, it lit the silhouette of a childish soul.

"NO!" Vallen yelled as he rushed towards the child who escaped into a vent. Quickly the situation went haywire. Vallen scurried over the control panels for the switch the shadowed child touched.

*TIZZZ-*

A faint but loud enough buzzing started to overtake the reactor. As Vallen looked up, he realized the reactor was eating itself as the tube that took the energy of N-cells shut down. This caused a systematic overload in power that quickly burned the machine.

"No, this can't be happening! Why did this go wrong!! Turn it off!!! Shut It down now!" Vallen yelled. "It's too late Vallen! You have to seal the reactor or everybody else will die!" a colleague of his shouted from across the room. The pressure; the wind was so strong that it felt like they were in the middle of a raging typhoon. "I can't! The force of the wind is pushing us too hard!" He yelled back. "Then I'll do it." the colleague said as he took one step towards the control panels.

*Thunk*

He fell to the floor. And his head came flying in front of Vallen's face. He was hit by flying debris. "Ch- Charlie!" he screamed as his blood splattered all over Vallen. His eyes were teary as he was forced to watch his creation diserated his life. "What have I done," Vallen cried, the feelings he could feel at this time, indescribable.

*Boom..!*

In mere minutes, the reactor exploded leaving no evidence that it was even there, and the crater it left was big enough to fit over a thousand seas. And my father, knocked out cold hidden under debris.

'I heard voices yelling at me to wake up. But I didn't want to. Why is it that my plans always fail? Why must I always lose something precious before I gain something that makes me successful? I don't want to wake up anymore, I want to stay here and- and lie for a while.'

Stunned by the explosion, Vallen felt great guilt for what had become. Had his mind not had great thoughts, he imagined what a normal life would've been like if he just hadn't thought… of a solution to every problem he encountered. Awoken by the calls and screams of his people, he opened his eyes to his Shambled facility.

"Vall, are you finally awake?" a man said, crouching next to Father. He was dripped out in metals and was accompanied by a whole platoon of soldiers.

"Search the premise! Look for any Survivors..!" he yelled as his soldier followed in.

Vallen laid in the rubble, his heart silently crying out of his body before he began to speak.

"Nolan, what—what have I done? What have I done, Nolan?! What have I done!!" he yelled. The only thing the man could do was sit down next to his friend and console him. "My wife, and my daughter… They're both… Gone!" he yelled as more tears began flowing down his already battered face. "Vall, I'm so sorry, but I…" he pauses as a soldier whispers something in his ears "I… We need you to get up… You see we've found sighs of life in the center of the crater below." Nolan said, resting his arm against Vallens' shoulder. "What!?!" surprised, Vallen got up and rushed towards the center of the crater.

Amongst the rubble, they found a miracle, a special surprise that was a mystery in itself. "The reactor…" Vallen mumbled as he slowly made his way towards the heart of it all. It was there where they found a child who was resting inside of it.

"What is this?" Nolan asked, his mouth in awe.

"It recreated an artificial womb for her to grow in, healthily…" Vallen explained.

"I can't believe it! The reactor did? And yet… 'this level of power is unremarkable, Vallen!'" Nolan remarked.

"Its power is at least 7 times greater than the amount of power Nen and the facility had combined!"

"But Vallen… Your daughter… Do you think she's-"

"Alive? Yes, yes of course she's alive. But with the state she is in right now, being frozen in time.

She won't be able to grow unless we take her out of this stupid machine." Vallen answered as he kicked the reactor. A radiant flow of power glistened in reaction.

Vallen paused.

"My love... I see now...

You are somehow still alive, aren't you..?"
