Synopsis
Malachi is a gamer who spends most of his time in front of his computer. He enjoys all kinds of games—adventures, role-playing quests, battles, and endless journeys into worlds filled with magic and mystery. Gaming isn’t just his hobby, it’s his escape, a place where he truly feels alive. One night, while Malachi was deeply focused on one of his favorite fantasy game, something unusual happened. A strange notification suddenly popped on his screen. It wasn’t from any game he had ever seen before, yet the mysterious title instantly caught his attention. Curiosity sparked, and without a second thought, he clicked on it. The moment he started the game, the screen glowed with a dazzling light, and the game on his computer scanned his face, revealing his full name and identity. Malachi froze in surprise, but he didn’t mind at all and continued. A short lore story began to unfold before his eyes, drawing him in. But just as he was about to continue, the screen flickered, froze, and then crashed—his computer completely stopped working. Frustrated, Malachi pressed buttons and moved the mouse desperately, trying to fix it. Before he could do anything else, the computer suddenly erupted in a burst of light, followed by an explosion. When Malachi opened his eyes again, he was no longer in his room. Instead, he found himself floating in a strange, endless dimension. In front of him, glowing screens flashed as if the game itself was finishing the process of setting up his character. Malachi had entered the game. But this was no ordinary game. Chapter 1 - Prologue

Boom! Crack!

Explosions and magic filled my room as my fingers flew across the keyboard. My computer screen glowed with flashing lights, fireballs, swirling water, and swinging swords.

"Damn it! Kill that bastard!" I shouted, leaning closer to the screen. My teammates and I were deep in a boss fight, and every second counted. The massive creature in front of us roared, swinging its claws and summoning minions.

The boss's health bar was already low, glowing red at the top of the screen. I jumped high into the air, holding my sword tight. With one last mighty swing, I struck the boss. The blow was so strong that its head fell, and the health bar dropped to zero. The battle was finally over!

[Victory!]

[Malachiskie123 has killed the Boss]

"Yes!" I yelled, punching my fist in the air.

Beep!

My smartphone buzzed with notifications.

"Yoo, nice one Malachi!"

"That was epic!"

"Good job, guys!"

Messages from my teammates in our Discord group flooded in.

I smiled and tapped the notification from my best friend, Claude.

"Malachi, that was awesome, bro!" he typed. "You landed the final blow! You totally carried the team!"

A rush of pride hit me. I'd spent countless hours practicing combos and memorizing strategies, and tonight it had paid off. I had done the most damage and helped the team land the finishing strike on the colossal boss.

Leaning back in my chair, heart still racing, I grinned at the screen. "Yeah, we did it," I muttered. The chat kept buzzing with jokes, laughter, and celebration. Moments like this made gaming worth it—the teamwork, the thrill, and the rush of victory.

Beep!

A mysterious notification suddenly popped up on my computer screen. I leaned closer, squinting at the unfamiliar icon.

"Beast Master Online: War of Conquest?"

The icon caught my eye immediately—a roaring lion, its mane flowing like fire, its eyes glowing with a strange light. It felt… alive. My heart raced with curiosity. What kind of game was this?

Without hesitating, I clicked on the notification. The moment I did, the screen flashed with dazzling light. Then, the display changed entirely.

Before me appeared a vast collection of beast creatures. Each one looked ready for battle, ready to serve a master who could command them.

Then, large bold letters appeared across the screen:

The moment I did, a light shot from the screen, and a strange energy swept over me. My computer scanned my face.

[Welcome, Malachi Paisley!]

"What… how did it know my full name?" I muttered.

Then, a lore story appeared out of nowhere, words floating before my eyes.

Centuries ago, mortals and the Beasts of Origin lived in peace and harmony.

These mighty beasts were more than guardians—they were companions, mentors, and protectors of humankind. They guided farmers to fertile lands, shielded travelers from danger, and even healed the sick. Their bond with mortals was built on trust and respect, a connection so strong that it shaped the balance of many kingdoms.

But in the shadows of the Abyss, an envious presence watched.

The Abyssal Lord, a being of darkness and malice, could not bear to see such unity. He sought to sever the bond between mortals and Beasts, for their harmony threatened his influence.

In secret, he spread Chaos. Whispers of distrust crept into the hearts of some beasts. Shadows tainted their spirits, twisting noble forms into monstrous shapes. These once-loyal protectors became Corrupted, lashing out at the very mortals they had once sworn to defend. Villages burned, rivers turned black, and the bond between human and beast began to shatter.

Yet not all was lost.

Many Beasts resisted corruption, standing firmly by their mortal allies. Together, they protected the innocent.

The most powerful among them worked alongside mortals to forge sacred gifts: ancient artifacts, divine relics, and tools of immense power, each imbued with their own essence. These relics could grant mortals the strength to face even the mightiest dark foes.

Through this sacred pact, a mortal and a Beast joined their souls as one, sharing strength, powers, senses, and even life itself. In battle, they fought alongside their chosen Master.

Even as the Abyssal Lord's darkness spread across the land, hope endured—in the courage of mortals, the loyalty of the Beasts, and the unbreakable bonds between them.

But the Abyssal Lord raised countless armies, combining his Corrupted Beasts with legions of vampires, werewolves, gorgons, pixies, dryads, witches, trolls, ogres, elves, dwarves, slimes, dragons, centaurs, undead, skeletons, goblins, giants, ghouls, golems, harpies, sirens, soul snatchers, grim reapers, skinwalkers, demons, and other unnameable horrors.

---

I finally finished reading the full lore story on the screen.

"Woof, that was quite a lore!" I muttered, leaning back in my gaming chair.

I reached for my mouse to continue, but no matter how much I moved it, the cursor didn't budge. Frowning, I tapped on my keyboard and even pressed the power button on my computer—but nothing happened. The screen stayed frozen, stuck on the same glowing words.

"This is bad.…" I groaned, rubbing my forehead.

With no other choice, I pulled out my phone and message my best friend, Claude.

"Hey bro, I'm frustrated right now. I think my computer's done for. Thanks to this random game that just popped out of nowhere."

A reply came instantly.

"Yoo, same bro! I just finished reading some kind of lore in a random game too—and now my computer's screen is totally frozen."

My eyes widened.

"Man, you too?" I replied.

I stared at his message, chills running down my spine. This couldn't just be a coincidence… right?

I turned back to my keyboard, deciding to give it one more try. I pressed a key, then another, then slammed the spacebar in frustration.

And then, the last thing I heard was an explosion. After that—everything went black.

I blinked, confused, but when I opened my eyes again, I wasn't in my room anymore.

I was floating.

Floating in some kind of strange, endless space. My body felt weightless, as if no gravity was holding me down.

"What… what is this place?" I whispered, my voice echoing into the emptiness.

It didn't feel like a dream. It felt real.

And deep down, I knew something had just begun.

Suddenly, a crystal screen shimmered with blue light popped.

[Welcome again, Malachi Paisley]
