Synopsis
Damien was a streamer—and just when his streams began to gain traction, the world decided he was isekai material. He was transmigrated into the world of the game he played recently. But not as the protagonist, not even a relevant character, instead he was transmigrated into the body of the first prince—a boy who was framed by his family for a crime he didn't commit, all for his lack of talent. Feeling betrayed, the prince becomes a villain, though the protagonist kills him off swiftly. Damien was transmigrated into the body of this very character. The weakest prince in existence. "To survive you must do anything." He would twist the story to his advantage. Kill vilians before they could reach their full potential. And most importantly—he would ensure his survival.

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

"Fuck...."

A young man with snow-white hair stared at the mirror.

His expression was one of utter disgust.

"Of all of the people I could have reincarnated me as, it had to be you.... huh?"

He asked himself.

"I shouldn't have played as him."

He could only lament about his fate as he stared at the glass in front of him.

The young man let out a deep sigh, resigning himself to his fate.

This very man wasn't a normal person—no, in fact he was a transmigrator.

Someone who died as his streams began to get more popularity, when he had gifted the game after winning an online gaming tournament.

His name was formerly Damien.

Now he was Arthur Vael Kaiser.

The first son of the Central Monarch.

Talented trash. Disowned by his family for attempting to assault the first princess of the Western Monarch.

'If he did that, I wouldn't even be able to blame him.'

Unlike most novels he read, there was no splitting headache as the memories assimilated with him.

It was like.... Arthur was Damien and Damien was Arthur.

It was because of that he knew the prince wasn't responsible. No, in fact, he had framed for it.

In the original story, the young prince would be driven to madness and subsequently became a minor villian at the Academy.

In most playthroughs the young prince didn't have much time to live, he would either be killed in one of many of the disastrous events that would befall.

The only different scenarios were the ones where you played as the prince.

In that scenario, instead of choosing to target the Second and Third Princes of the Central Monarchy, he would choose a smarter approach and befriend them.

Unfortunately, even then his relevance would only equal that of a mid-tier boss as his scheme would always fail—a scenario which was uncommon for a game that your choices often decided how it would end.

So the fact that the exiled prince's schemes always failed was interesting to say the least.

Damien was the first streamer to try to change the ending.

At first it was going well, his follows steadily grew as the stream continued.

After ending the first part of the stream, and promising that he would continue it, Damien left his home to shop for some groceries.

He never did get them.

The old man who owned the shop was muttering some strange poem when a truck rammed through the walls.

The old man wasn't hit though.

Before Damien could even begin to comprehend what was happening, the old man jumped from the counter and leaped. All with superhuman agility—or at least, speed that he didn't expect from someone that old.

At that moment he felt pain.

Excruciating pain.

There was no darkness.

No.... there was a blinding light. By the time he regained himself, he was in a hospital bed, surrounded by machines and multiple drips attached to him.

But it wasn't his body.

"But, I suppose an upside of this is the new look."

He looked handsome.... No, he was handsome.

It took him a while to realize he had spent several moments analyzing his new features. It couldn't be helped, after all, in his past life he had to admit that he was a little plain.

Just slightly better than an everyday forgettable face.

"I need to focus."

He snapped himself out of it.

Later he could admire himself.

"First things, first."

Arthur went back to the bed and searched his surroundings frantically.

It took him a while to find it; a golden card tucked neatly under the sheets.

"I almost forgot where I kept it."

He had the memories of the original Arthur intact. But, he also had the memories of Damien.

It was as if one was his past life, and the other was his current life, and he had only awakened his memories now. Only after whatever the doctor that had operated on him did.

"Open."

Arthur commanded, channeling the energy of this world—essence, into his fingertips.

The card reacted to it.

A screen materialized in the air.

The world's power system was decided by your Resonance. The higher your resonance with essence, the stronger you would become.

So, if you had a Soul Potential of 7, you would be stuck at Symphony for the rest of your life, that was assuming that you reached R7 in the first place.

It was also worth noting that the highest your resonance could reach was 10.

But—

"The quack actually did it."

Art quickly pocketed the card.

"He increased my Soul Potential."

He was elated.

The first prince of the Central Monarchy was born with a Soul Potential of only 6!

It wasn't too hard to figure out how he spent his childhood.

Since Arthur's mother had died early on, there was no one with him growing up.

His mother died when he was five years old, anytime he met his father he would also meet a face of disappointment, as if that wasn't enough his younger sister bullied him on a daily basis.

He was known as the disgrace of the Vael Monarchy.

While his sister had awakened with a Soul Potential of R9, he had only awakened a Soul Potential of R6.

But despite everything, Arthur still tried.

He tried.... training till he dropped from exhaustion, honing his origin skill. Just doing anything in the hopes that he would be strong, that by some miracle he would break past the shackles of his Soul Potential....

But all his training was for naught.

He was always weaker than his sister.

And then, one day, his family decided they had enough of him.

He was framed with the attempted rape of the daughter of the Western Monarch.

He didn't even like her.

She was way too flat for him!

Unfortunately, his words held no sway in the eyes of the public and those of his own family.

He was stripped of his title and promptly exiled.

Everything led to his current situation....
