Year 2032
Christian was bored out of his mind.
It was his second year in high school yet everything was the same as before. His teachers knew of him as a genius, girls were swooning because of his looks, he was invited to every party and yet his only real friend was Kevin.
'Why is it always the same?'
Christian thought with a face that screamed boredom.
" Buddy, you have that face again"
Kevin said while sitting beside his desk on his own.
"Can't help it. It's always the same. Anyway, enough about me. Hows things going with you and my girlfriend. Heard she confessed her feelings for you after we broke up." Christian said relishing the one thing that kept him entertained other than fighting, gaming and doom scrolling. Gossip.
" I Rejected her.And yes I had been practicing how to say yes to her heroically in front of the mirror. And no I will not tell you why. Ok, it's because I thought she was a whore."Kevin Rambled.
"You folded under zero pressure dude.Anyway are you interested in somebody else?"
"You're asking so you can tell the girls in exchange for the hot goss right? Dude do something else play the new VRMMO RPG for god's sake."
"Guilty as charged. What VRMMO?"
"You don't know? Avalon released a new game it's called '??? Online'."
"??? Online" Chris said confused.
"Yeah apparently the name will be revealed once the Main Questline starts."
" Huh uh. Anyway you interested in someone."
"Bro, you still asking?"
"I'm not asking. The Ladies are asking. And the ladies want answers.They're asking because they want a piece of this shit."Chris said pointing a finger at his friend " Besides you look like an anime protagonist. You have literal RED eyes and WHITE hair. That's not supposed to be genetically possible!"
"What can I say bro I'm just built different. And about your earlier question. I am interested in someone else. They've been keeping me up late at night fantisising about them."Kevin said with a dreamy expression.
"NO WAY! Tell me mf who the fuck is it"Chris asked with an expression that was hungry for knowledge, for gossip.
"Well they're extremely good looking with grey eyes, dark hair and extremely good looking. They're also very interested in gossip."
'This is good info' Christian thought while nodding. 'Now I just have to find who this is.Wait.'
Christian took out his phone and checked his reflection in the camera.
Grey eyes.Check
Dark hair.Check
Extremely good looking. Obviously check.
Then he turned to Kevin."Is that a proposal?"Chris asked
"Yes."
"Finally, I was wondering when you would notice this fine piece of candy."
"My mistake bro. I was wayyyyy too ignorant."
"It's alright dude mistakes happen"
"Anyway you accept my proposal.'
"Of course dude. I was waiting for you to ask."
"So you'll convince your sister to marry me?"
