Chapter 1 - DUNGEON BREAK

In a dimly lit room sat a haggard-looking man.

He was thin and malnourished, almost as if he could die at any moment. His deep eyes looked like they had seen centuries of suffering, though he was only twenty-five. Long white hair fell to his shoulders. Average in height, yet his presence felt heavy.

He stared at nothing, lost in memories of his beloved family.

How did he get here?

It began one hundred years ago.

---

It was a day like any other—until the explosion.

A deafening boom shook Central Park. At first, everyone thought it was a terrorist attack. But they were wrong.

In the middle of the blast, a huge yellow portal appeared—circular, glowing brightly, hovering in the air. Everything around it melted from the intense heat. The air was heavy, filled with dread.

Thirty minutes later, the army arrived, surrounding the area with a one-mile barricade. Silence lingered. Then—

BANG!

A massive, scaled arm tore through the portal, followed by a monster with pale skin, huge bulging muscles, sharp claws, and fangs. It walked on all fours, radiating raw killing intent.

The commander froze for a moment, then shouted:

"Everybody, shoot that abomination!"

Bullets flew, but they couldn't pierce its skin.

ROAAAAR!

The beast lunged, grabbing a soldier and tearing him in half in the blink of an eye. Screams erupted. More and more monsters appeared. Only bombs had any effect, and even then, it took ten special forces operatives to take down the wave.

By the end, over 500 people were dead. Martial law was declared. The world saw the footage and named the event:

"The Doom Dungeon."

Two months later, a group of people sneaked into the portal. They found themselves in another world, swarming with endless monsters they later named Skin Crawlers. These creatures had terrifying strength, speed, and agility.

For some unknown reason, those who fought them began to change—gaining powers. Some could control fire, water, or sand. Others had monstrous strength or could transform their bodies.

After two months of battle, the group mastered their abilities, and were able to control m mana . They killed the dungeon's boss, and were teleported back to Earth.

From then on, dungeons began breaking out across the world.

The dungeons are rated from tier 1 to 6

The beasts are classified by humans into earthly, mutant, sacred, heavenly, evil devils and the godless beast.

Most dungeon breaks were Tier 1 to Tier 3. Heavenly and above were rare. Only one Hellish dungeon had ever appeared—the Doom Dungeon in Central Park, which was Tier 2.

Human divided their level according to the amount of mana they burst out . The awakened, the ascended, the apex , the suppressors , the transcendent and and the Almighty supreme.

Over the years, more talented heroes emerged. Awakened fighters gained so much influence they rivaled governments.

Under martial law, a coup erupted. The military seized control, giving rise to the Top Nine Guilds the most powerful forces in the new world
