Ethan raised an eyebrow. He had never considered that direction.
Sakuragi Yoshino said, "Yes, compared to text and illustrations, manga can interpret a story's brilliance more directly, and it's also more popular with young people."
"Wouldn't that be too much trouble?"
Sakuragi Yoshino's tone was full of anticipation, and she smiled, "It will be a bit troublesome, but the story's structure and framework are already complete. All that's left is to bring them to life. Besides, I'm idle at home. If I can draw a manga like this, it would fulfill a dream of mine."

For the next two days, Ethan stayed in Maiden's Peak, gathering material and maintaining contact with Sakuragi Yoshino to provide her with relevant supplementary information.
It wasn't until the third day, when he received her call, learning that she had completed over twenty pages of the first draft, that Ethan set off, returning to Vermilion City.
Professor Sakuragi's house was a typical Japanese detached home, not far from the institute. Since he knew Ethan would be coming, Professor Sakuragi didn't go to the institute but specifically waited for him at home. And as it was Saturday, the entire family of four, including Koharu and her younger brother Souta, came out to greet him.
Seeing Ethan, Yamper circled around him, wagging its tail excitedly. Looking at the neatly assembled family, Ethan couldn't help but feel a bead of sweat on his forehead. Strange, why does it feel like I'm showing up empty-handed for the first time to meet my mother-in-law?
As the host, Professor Sakuragi was the first to speak: "Welcome, welcome, please come in."
Ethan nodded politely, his gaze sweeping over Souta and finally resting on the hostess. "Nice to meet you for the first time. I am Ethan. Forgive my intrusion."
Sakuragi Yoshino wore red-framed round glasses. Her appearance was somewhat similar to Koharu's, but her face was rounder and more mature. Her cherry-blossom colored long hair was braided into a side-plait, hanging over her left shoulder. As for Souta Sakuragi, he resembled Professor Sakuragi more. This little boy was somewhat cool, a standard 'shota' type. Although a few years younger than Koharu, he seemed mature for his age and felt even more reliable than Koharu.
Slightly constrained, Ethan changed into slippers and entered the house, arriving in the living room. Sakuragi Yoshino took out a transparent bag and pulled out the twenty-something pages of manga from inside.
"I've only drawn this much for now. I estimate I'll need another one hundred ninety-five pages to present the rest of the story. However, since there are no complex compositions, it might even go faster."
Such precise calculations, it seems she's put a lot of effort into this. Ethan carefully flipped through the pages, praising, "This is truly excellent artwork. It's a real shame, Auntie, that you're not a professional manga artist."

"Is this the Gastly mentioned in the story?" Professor Sakuragi helped his son up, looking at Gastly with utter surprise.
"That's right," Ethan restrained Gastly, then nodded. "To some extent, it's actually the main character of the story."
Souta got up from the floor. Although he had fallen, he didn't seem scared. Instead, he circled Gastly, examining it curiously, clearly very interested in why it was in the shadow.
At noon, the Sakuragi family's warm invitation led Ethan to have lunch at their house. The conversation flowed easily, and the dining table was filled with cheer and laughter. When Ethan brought out the photos he had taken underwater in the S.S. Anne, the four of them gasped in astonishment.

After finalizing the completion date with Sakuragi Yoshino, Ethan set off again, heading to Saffron City.
Saffron, the color of brilliant, shining gold. This time, besides Kirlia, only Gastly accompanied him, hidden in his shadow. As for his other Pokémon, they were all safely in their Poké Balls.
Along the way, nothing else happened. By the time he reached this super metropolis of the Kanto region, Ash and his group had already left, moving on to other Gym cities. However, according to Misty, when they challenged the Saffron Gym, they faced many difficulties. After failing their first challenge, they suffered a lot and had to go to the Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town. Only after catching a Gastly (Gengar, in reality) there did they successfully obtain the Badge with its power. For this, they also wasted two days, so they weren't too far behind Ethan now.
Saffron City was filled with skyscrapers. It was not only the central business district of the Kanto region but also boasted the region's largest infrastructure. It even had a magnetic levitation train station connecting to the Johto region. Countless trains, traveling at speeds up to 550 kilometers per hour, shuttled daily between Saffron City and Goldenrod City, bringing economy and vitality to these two equivalent metropolises.
Walking through the bustling streets, Ethan headed directly to the Saffron Gym. He looked up. Its exterior resembled many white umbrellas tightly packed together, a design full of creativity, but a bit too monotonous. In Ethan's opinion, it was slightly inferior to other Gyms. As Saffron City's current official Gym, its leader was Sabrina, specializing in Psychic-type Pokémon. She was very formidable, but after defeating her, one could obtain the Marsh Badge.
Entering the Gym through the automatic doors, Ethan looked around. The lobby was empty; no one was there to greet him. After taking a few steps forward, he looked through a doorway and saw a group of people in white lab coats sitting at tables in a nearby room, holding spoons and staring intently at them, seemingly practicing some kind of psychic ability!
Ethan has left Maiden's Peak after successfully catching Gastly and arranging for the legend to be turned into a manga with Yoshino. He's now arrived in the bustling Saffron City and is at the Saffron Gym, ready to challenge Sabrina, the formidable Psychic-type Gym Leader. He also notes Ash and his friends had trouble here and had to get a Gengar.
How will Ethan's battle against Sabrina and her Psychic Pokémon unfold? Will his new Ghost-type Gastly be a crucial asset in this particular Gym battle?
