Sabrina calmly asked, "So, where should we enter from?"

Ethan looked up at the surveillance cameras around the Silph Co. building, then glanced around and pointed to another commercial office building next to it. "This building is only half the height of Silph Co. If we can get from its rooftop into Silph Co.'s interior, we can avoid the Team Rocket members on the lower floors."

Sabrina didn't object. She followed Ethan across the street, blending in with a group of office workers, and entered the office building. The two took the elevator to the top floor. At the stairwell leading to the higher floors, Sabrina used her psychic powers to twist the door lock, and they smoothly reached the rooftop.

Now that's what I call a powerful and convenient ability!

A cool wind blew over Ethan. He stood at the edge of the railing, looking forward. On the street below, the endless stream of vehicles had become tiny, and the Silph Co. building opposite them was still quite a distance away.

"What's wrong? Scared?" Sabrina asked softly.

"Not exactly scared, just a little shaky in the legs…" Ethan didn't try to be tough; instead, he generously admitted, "But at a time like this, there's no way to back down."

With that, his gaze searched the opposite building. He quickly found a broken window, likely damaged during Team Rocket's invasion. It was a well-lit floor-to-ceiling window, but it was already shattered. The room behind the window was an office, but it was now empty due to the commotion.

"Let's go in through there!"

Seeing Sabrina nod gently, Ethan gestured to Kirlia. Kirlia then came to Ethan's side and wrapped its arms around his waist.

Teleport, activated.

The next second, Ethan vanished. When he and Kirlia reappeared, they were already standing inside that office. He looked back at Sabrina and saw her body float without a breeze, directly flying in from the opposite rooftop.

Alright, you have psychic powers, you're awesome!

Once the two reunited, Ethan softly called, "Gastly."

Gastly's body floated out from his shadow: "What is it?"

But before Ethan could speak, Sabrina, for once, surprisingly covered her mouth. "It can talk!?"

"What's so strange about that!" Gastly glanced at Sabrina. "It's just mere human language. Little girl, you really haven't seen much of the world!"

"Alright, stop jabbering," Ethan said. "Quickly go scout the area nearby. Remember to pinpoint Team Rocket's positions."

Watching Gastly phase through the wall, Sabrina turned to look at Ethan, as if seeing him anew. "A Pokémon Trainer, an International Police associate, and a talking Gastly. I can't believe you're around my age, yet you've experienced so much."

"That's nothing compared to you," Despite the perilous environment, Ethan's mood didn't seem particularly tense. "Not only do you have psychic powers, but you've also become a Gym Leader. You're the one who truly inspires envy."

Perhaps having heard too many compliments, Sabrina didn't pay much attention. Instead, she asked again, "Do you know what Team Rocket's objective is?"

Ethan shrugged, indicating he didn't know. Information about Silph Co. from the games was a bit hazy due to the passage of time, but he was certain it had something to do with the company's president.

At this moment, he took out his phone and checked it. As expected, just like on the S.S. Anne, the signal was completely blocked.

It wasn't long before Gastly returned.

"Most of Team Rocket's members are concentrated on the lower and upper floors. There are very few in between."

"What about the staff in the building?"

Gastly said, "They've all been gathered into a few rooms and are being held. But I don't think Team Rocket intends to harm them, so they're safe for now."

"What do you plan to do next?" Sabrina asked.

"With so many people, there's no way we can rescue them all by ourselves," Ethan thought for a moment. "I think we should find the president's office and rescue the president. As long as we can ensure his safe departure, no matter what Team Rocket does, their plan will fall apart."

Sabrina nodded. "That sounds very dangerous, but don't worry. Since I've accepted the request, I will certainly assist you."

"That's truly reassuring."

Taking a deep breath, Ethan cautiously peeked into the corridor, but quickly pulled back. "There's a camera right in front of us. Going out like this would definitely get us seen. So, before we leave, we have to disable the surveillance first!"

Saying this, Ethan turned to Gastly and instructed, "Next, we'll split up. You go to the security room first and see if you can disable the entire system, then meet us on the top floor!"

"Heheheh." Gastly grinned. "Leave it to me. Destruction is my favorite and my best skill!"

With that, its figure dissipated within the room.

Silph Co. Building, first-floor security room.

At this moment, two Team Rocket Grunts were intently staring at the monitors, afraid of missing any information. Before today's operation, both their Big Boss and their superiors had already ordered everyone to be on high alert and not to relax for a second. As ordinary grunts with grand ideals and ambitions, they naturally executed this order perfectly.

Although they were an evil organization and often committed bad deeds, Team Rocket's internal benefits were actually excellent. Not only were they massive in scale, owning many large cross-regional public companies, but they also provided their members with comprehensive social welfare, paid salaries on time, and offered resources like equipment and Pokémon. They even frequently held camaraderie gatherings, tea parties, and motivational meetings, which is why their cohesion was so strong.

A frivolous male voice suddenly came through the walkie-talkie: "Hey, hey, how's the situation over there?"

"Reporting, Mr. Lance!" one of the Team Rocket Grunts respectfully replied. "No abnormalities detected outside the building!"

The walkie-talkie then asked, "What about inside the building?"

The Grunt's gaze swept across all the monitor screens: "No abnormalities detected on any floor either!"

"Excellent," the frivolous male voice praised, then instructed, "Maintain high vigilance. If there's any problem, report it immediately!"

"Yes, sir!"

Putting the walkie-talkie aside, the Grunt wiped the sweat from his forehead and, in a joking tone, chuckled to himself, "Ugh, no matter how many times I talk to these executives, each time still makes me feel terrified."

However, a long time passed after he spoke, and his companion didn't respond or agree. Surprised, he quickly turned to look, only to see the other Grunt actually sprawled on the control panel, motionless, as if asleep!

"I say, what kind of joke is this!?" He got up, walked to the other Grunt, and pushed him hard. "You dare to sleep at a time like this? You've got a lot of nerve!"

Ethan and Sabrina are infiltrating Silph Co., which is secretly under Team Rocket's control. Their plan is to rescue the president and disrupt Team Rocket's operations from within. Gastly has been sent to disable surveillance, and now it seems to have taken care of the security room guards, perhaps with its Hypnosis.

What will Ethan and Sabrina encounter as they proceed deeper into the Silph Co. building? Will they face off against high-ranking Team Rocket members, and what is Team Rocket's ultimate goal in occupying this massive corporation?
