No prayers were answered anymore.
The gods had abandoned the world they once claimed to love.
She fell to her knees, blood soaking into the fractured soil. Her lungs burned. Her vision faded. Around her, only the wails of the dying echoed — a requiem for a forgotten realm.
But in her final breath, she did not beg.
