"Last time on Total Drama Action," Chris began the recap while sitting on a rotating chair, Edward in the host's lap with Chris slowly petting him. "Our last challenge brought out the more primal side of our contestants. We saw them yabba dabba move it in a down hill race where many showed they have the balance capabilities of a person with two left feet. Then we saw Dawn actually show her more savage side as she unleashed a couple of prehistoric beavers to sick Ronnie Anne! Hahaha, ah you just can't write this kind of stuff. In the end it came down to Lindsay vs Trent for the deciding match but the dude was too much of a gentleman to strike a lady. Yeah, that'll take you far in this game. Actually it won't as the Gaffers lost and ultimately gave Trent the boot! We're down to unlucky 13, and who's bad luck will strike the most today and cause them to be sent home? Find out now on Total. Drama. Action!"
"Brbrbrb!" Edward let out as Chris continued to run his fingers through the semi-aquatic mammal's fur.
Currently both teams were in the Craft Services tent enjoying the breakfast of the day. With the teams now at 6 and 7, respectively both teams had taken to having their own side of the tent rather than just mixing up and taking a seat at whatever table they could find. And currently on the Gaffer's side of the table Lincoln winced a bit as he put an ice pack to his head. "Ah," Lincoln let out, applying the pack to the spot where Geoff struck him during the caveman challenge. He was no longer seeing double anymore thankfully but his head still hurt like crazy after the whole thing. "Geez Geoff can really hit hard…"
"Are you ok?" Bridgette asked as she looked over Lincoln. She was still a bit peeved at Geoff for how he attacked Lincoln on the column. Not that she wanted Geoff to throw the game for her team or anything, she wouldn't want to ask that of Geoff nor would she wanna win like that. But he didn't have to bash his head with the bone. "You got hit pretty hard…"
"Don't worry Bridgette, I promise I'm a-ok." Lincoln reassured Bridgette with a smile. If there was one thing all Louds were good at it was taking pain. Their house was a massive storm of chaos after all. "Trust me it's not the first time I've been hit in the head and knowing my life, it definitely won't be the last."
"Trust me Bridgette, he'll be fine. I've been looking after him," Dawn reassured the surfer girl as she placed a hand on Lincoln's head and gently rubbed it. Ever since the caveman challenge Dawn has made sure to look after Lincoln to make sure he'd be ok and didn't accidentally run into something while he was all dazed and dizzy. Had to look after her boyfriend after all like any good partner should. "All he needs is some TLC~"
Dawn then gave Lincoln a kiss on the cheek causing Lincoln to chuckle and blush a bit. "Heh, I feel better already," Lincoln grinned a bit with Dawn smiling and giggling.
All the while Ronnie Anne watched them with narrowed eyes.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Finally knocked down another one of Lame-O's teammates, we need to keep it up. One more win and we'll finally be even and I can start properly taking him down!" Ronnie Anne explained before punching a fist into her open palm. She was finally so close to one upping the Gaffers and she wasn't going to let them pull ahead again. "We just have to win the next challenge…it better not be a stupid reward challenge…"
"Hey man," DJ spoke up as he put a hand on the shoulder of a rather downtrodden Mike. The tanned teen was looking rather down and was barely touching his food, mostly poking at it and only taking the occasional bites of it. DJ was easily able to tell why Mike was so down, Trent was gone. The guitarist was Mike's first friend and probably the first person besides Mike's own family that accepted him despite his DID. Anyone would be bummed out after having a person like that be kicked off. "You doing ok? I get that you're bummed about us voting off Trent. Sorry bout that,"
"It's alright," Mike sighed out as he tried to give DJ a smile. He didn't blame his team mates for voting the way they did. Trent said it himself, that's just how the game works. Trent was accepting his loss like a man and didn't wanna try and throw anyone under the bus just to save his own skin and cover his mistake. Mike respected it and perfectly understood why Trent decided to accept his fate. Besides now he was probably hanging around some awesome loser resort with Gwen so he was definitely doing just fine right now. "Yeah it does suck that he's gone but hey like he said that's just how the game works. He wouldn't want me sulking the whole time."
"Hey it's all good brother," DJ reassured Mike with a friendly smile and giving him a gentle punch on the shoulder. "Trust me I get it, it always sucks when we gotta send a friend home but it just means we gotta play even harder to try and make sure that doesn't happen."
"Exactly mate," Jasmine added in as she looked up from her food and pointed a fork at Mike and gave him a confident grin. "So just make sure to pull double time on the next challenge and help secure us another win."
"Heh, well I'll do my best," Mike promised as he gave a quick salute to the Australian Amazon. Mike was definitely glad Manitoba didn't guarantee that Jasmine was gonna hate him, the last thing he would want was for her to have it out for him. He'd forever count his lucky stars that she understood him and his DID.
CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette
"It really makes me happy to see the team like this," Bridgette told the camera with a bright smile on her face. While she missed Geoff and wished they could spend more time together, Bridgette was definitely glad she was on the Gaffer's rather than the Killer Grips. "Everyone's so understanding of each other and we're always there to support each other. We feel like a real team and I'm just really happy to be a part of it. Hoping we can win the next challenge and keep all our members,"
"Hey everyone!" The sound of Lily greeting everyone was heard as all the contestants watched the littlest Loud come into the Craft Services Tent. But she wasn't empty handed, in the 6-year-old's arms was a big basket of cookies. "Guess who brought you all cookies!"
"Woah, thanks Lily," Lincoln grinned as he and nearly everyone were quick to go over to the little girl and grab some cookies. The only ones who didn't grab any cookies were both Dawn and Harold with the former not really giving a reason for not taking any and the latter saying he filled up on breakfast. "Where'd you get these?"
"From Chris' trailer," Lily answered with a big grin. That got a few widened eyes…but didn't really stop anyone from enjoying the cookies they grabbed as Lily set the basket down after it was quickly emptied. If anything, hearing she got them from Chris' trailer made them enjoy it more. "I sneaked them away to share with you guys,"
"Well hey thanks little dude," Geoff grinned as he gave Lily a thumbs up while munching on his second cookie already. "But aren't you worried that you're gonna get in trouble?"
"Pfft, nah," Lily was rather confident in waving that off. Almost too confident as she put on a wide grin. "He always has a ton of treats delivered to his place so I doubt he'll notice."
"Hmph, keeping all this stuff to himself while leaving us with the scraps." Heather rolled her eyes as she finished up a cookie, she was still wearing the wig from the previous challenge. Even if Chef's cooking has gotten good this season, they still knew it was nothing compared to what Chris and even what Chef himself were eating at their own quarters. "Sounds like a Chris thing to do,"
"Just be careful sweetie," Bridgette told Lily as she rubbed the littlest Loud's head affectionately. "I know Chris has actually kept his promise of keeping you out of danger during the challenges but I'd rather not have you take chances like this and make him mad."
"Don't worry Bridgette, I'll be careful," Lily reassured Bridgette, causing the surfer girl to smile and nod before walking away with her fair share of cookies. Lily looked around and nodded in satisfaction at seeing nearly all the contestants were munching down on the cookies she brought them. Good…it was all falling into place. But as she looked around she spotted Ronnie Anne sitting by herself at the end of the tent calmingly chewing on a couple cookies she brought. Frowning a bit in worry, Lily walked over to the Hispanic teen and got her attention. "Hey Ronnie Anne?"
"Hm," Ronnie Anne's head perked up as her name was called. And to her surprise calling out to her was none other than Lily. Throughout the competition Ronnie Anne never really interacted with Lily much. She was certainly surprised to see Lily had snuck into Lincoln's luggage but Ronnie Anne never made an effort to interact with Lily considering she was busy playing the game and trying to finally beat the Gaffers. "What's up squirt?"
"I was just wondering…are you ok?" Ronnie Anne's eyes widened at Lily's question. Lily remembered her talk with Bridgette about why things between her brother and Ronnie Anne were so…messy to say the least. But she still wanted to talk to Ronnie Anne herself and see how she was doing. "I just…with everything happening you know? And kind of how a lot of the other's treat you,"
"…" Ronnie Anne was silent at first…but then softly placed a hand on Lily's head and gave the littlest Loud a soft genuine smile. Despite how things were between her and Lincoln, Ronnie Anne knew Lily didn't deserve to be put into the middle of all of it. She was just a kid after all and, while she'd never admit it, the Hispanic teen still had a bit of a soft side for Lily. "Trust me kid I'm fine. It's just adult stuff, don't worry yourself about it."
"Well…ok then," Lily seemed happy with that answer and gave Ronnie Anne a nod before walking away, picking up the basket again and walking out of the tent with it. Once the she was out of the tent and was far enough away from everyone else so they wouldn't hear her, she grinned a little as she took out a walkie talkie. "It's all good to go! Only two outliers,"
"Roger that," Chris replied through the other side of the walkie talkie, one could practically hear the grin that was on the host's face. This was probably his most devious plan yet and he was most certainly proud of it. "We'll take care of it, heheh. Good job kid!"
"Wow look at that," Back inside the Craft Services Tent, Justin walked up to Ronnie Anne with a bit of a teasing grin, the handsome teen having seen everything that just went down between Ronnie Anne and Lily. "Never thought I'd see the day,"
"See what?" Ronnie Anne asked, already gaining back her usual attitude as she gave Justin a look of annoyance.
"See you smiling, and here I thought you could just angrily scowl." Justin pointed out as he pointed the half of a cookie he had in his hand at Ronnie Anne's face. Ronnie Anne promptly responded by swiping the cookie away from Justin and crushing it to crumbs in her hand with Justin simply shrugging in response. "Just sayin,"
Suddenly a loud yawn got everyone's attention as DJ sat down, the brickhouse's eyes starting to look a bit droopy. "Man…" DJ said before forcing out yet another yawn. "I don't know about the rest of you but I'm feelin' pretty tired right now."
It seems DJ's yawn was contagious as just about everyone else in the tent began yawning as well. The only exceptions being Dawn and Harold with the latter looking around in confusion as suddenly everyone else began looking pretty tired as well. "Now that you mention it…" Lindsay managed to let out between yawns. "I feel like I could use more beauty sleep…"
"What's…going…on…" Heather let out before she fell to the ground completely and fell asleep, the queen bee quickly beginning to snore.
And it wasn't just her, one by one everyone began falling to the ground asleep leaving only a worried Dawn and a freaked out Harold awake. "Oh no!" Harold let out as he began looking around frantically, wondering why everyone just conked out all of a sudden. "What's going on?!"
"Harold, don't worry!" Dawn tried to reassure the freaking ginger by putting her hands on his shoulders. "What matters it that you need to stay ca-"
PIERCE!
"Gah!" Dawn let out as she was suddenly shot in the neck with a dart. "S-Stay…c-ca…" Was all the aura reader was able to let out before the dart did its thing and made her join the others in slumber as well with Harold gasping fearfully.
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"I knew the producers were insane but now I think they're actually trying to kill us!" Harold let out seriously, completely missing a hand appearing behind him carrying a police baton. "If you ask me it's all a conspiracy to-"
WHACK!
"Gah!" Harold let out before he was whacked in the head and falling unconscious.
"U-Ugh…" The groans of all the contestants were heard as they finally began stirring awake. The first to wake up was Jasmine who rubbed her eyes and looked around to get a feel for their location. Her team was sprawled out on the floor around her with all of them slowly waking up. And it seemed they were in quite a long room as it stretched out a fair distance. Stretching out through the very middle of the room was a glass divider that split the room into two halves with the Grips on the other half of the room. "Where the bloody hell are we…"
"Good question…" Justin said as he and the Grips began standing up. "Anyone know how we got here?"
"Last thing I remember we were in the Craft's Services Tent," DJ answered as he helped Bridgette and Dawn stand up before rubbing his head and trying to remember what might have happened. "We all ate the cookies that Lily brought to us and then…everything went dark,"
"Ooouf, passing out and waking up in another place," Geoff couldn't help but smile and chuckle a bit once he was back up. "Kinda nostalgic."
"Do we even wanna know?" Justin asked skeptically.
"I'll tell ya about it later dude," Geoff told the handsome teen before shaking his head a little. "It was totally knarly."
"Just another one of Chris' sick tricks no doubt," Heather automatically assumed as she stood up and glared all around her, trying to find any cameras where Chris may be watching them from. "He's gotta be up to this, he's always the one up to this,"
"He must have done something to knock us all out," Harold began as he explained what he saw happened to everyone. "Me and Dawn watched you all drop like flies in the tent, then Dawn was shot with a tranquilizer dart and I was knocked out in the confessional."
"HEY MCLEAN!" Ronnie Anne shouted out the host's name, demanding an explanation for what was going on right now. "YOU BETTER SHOW YOURSELF NOW OR ELSE!"
"Muahahahah!" And like that Chris did appear, though not physically. Appearing on the walls on both halves of the room was a holographic screen showing Chris sitting in a chair with Edward curled on his lap like he was a cat with the platypus now sporting a monocle. And if that wasn't enough Chris then began speaking in a…really bad French accent. "Welcome everyone, to ve world of cloak and dagger spy movies!"
"…" Everyone was quick to give Chris deadpanned looks, none of them too impressed with his accent. All except one.
"Woooow," Lindsay let out in wonder as she looked up at Chris in surprise. "I didn't know Chris was French!"
"I'm not!" Chris grinned proudly as he stroked Edwards back. "I'm just that good of an actor!"
"Brbrbrbr," Edward rolled his eyes at the statement, not that Chris noticed it.
"Hope you all enjoyed the treats Lily gave you this morning," Chris said with an amused grin, making many of the contestants' eyes widen. Oh he didn't…who were they kidding this was Chris he absolutely did. "It's amazing how well sleep powder can be added to baked goods and no one notices before it's too late, hehe."
"Wait…you set Lily up on us?!" Lincoln yelled at the host. He couldn't believe it. His baby sister played them all!
"Why yes, yes I did," Chris chuckled, earning himself many glares, before clearing his throat. "Welcome everyone to today's movie genre! Spy movies! I'm sure you all know the general gist of spy movies. A super suave ladies man is called to action to stop some super evil dude from taking over the world using all sorts of neato gadgets, gambling skills, and usually flirts with the bad guy's right hand man leading to some serious game with a hot foreign chick!"
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Nice~" Geoff gave a grin and a nod.
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"Nice~" Harold chuckled a little.
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"That part better not involve me," Jasmine said with narrowed eyes.
"Now there are three essential skills all spies in spy movies should have. Technically four but I'm not allowed to go over that one on TV." Chris listed with many of the guys putting on rather perverted looks with many of the girls rolling their eyes in turn. "First, the ability to defuse a bomb. Second, escape from an exploding building. And third, the ability to fake an accent well enough that people believe you actually speak the language. Like my fab French accent!"
Heather rolled her eyes at that claim as Izzy giggled. "Oh that's just a normal Sunday for me!" The psycho hose beast claimed, getting many strange looks in return. "I can totally rock the Jamaican accent mon!"
"Gonna take a wild guess and say we won't be focusing on the third one for today?" Mike asked with a fearful gulp.
"Right you are Mike!" Chris confirmed both Mike and many others' fears. Just then Chris pulled out a remote and pressed a button on it making everyone hear a clicking sound. Looking to the end of the room, everyone watched as a platform rose up on both sides with the platform having a burlap sack secured by a glass case. "For the first part of the challenge teams will need to escape the building you're all in. At the end of the room you're all in you'll see a bag that contains all the equipment you'll need to do a daring escape locked behind some protective glass."
"That's all?" Bridgette asked with a confident smile as she began walking forward. "This should be easy then."
But as Bridgette walked forward Lincoln's eyes suddenly widened in alarm as he grabbed the surfer girl's arm and pulled her back. Just in time to as suddenly both sides of the room began filling up with lasers that blocked the glass cases from everyone as all the contestants gasped in alarm. "When has anything on this show ever been easy?" Chris asked in amusement as Bridgette put a hand to her heart after nearly being sliced in half. "You want the equipment you gotta make your way through the lasers without becoming Swiss cheese like a real super spy would."
"Seriously Bridgette be careful," Lincoln told Bridgette with a light scolding tone. "Lasers are like, spy stuff 101."
"R-Right, sorry," Bridgette stuttered a bit before calming down and giving Lincoln a grateful look. "Thanks for the save,"
And watching them from the other half of the room was Geoff who couldn't help but zero in on Lincoln holding onto Bridgette's arms. "Grrrr…" The party dude let out, a pang of jealousy building up inside of him.
"First team to escape wins an advantage in the second half of the challenge," Chris explained before making the holoscreen turn off. Once he was gone, everyone was ready to go about the challenge but only a few seconds later did Chris return. "Oh, and one more thing."
"What else could there possibly be?" Jasmine asked in irritation.
"This!" Chris yelled as a timer set to five minutes appeared on the screen. And soon it began counting down much to everyone's alarm. "The building blows in T-Minus five minutes!"
CONFESSIONAL – Mike
"I know I'm new to this show and all…" Mike began before face palming. "But I really should have seen this coming…"
"Ok we gotta get out of here quickly!" Lincoln immediately yelled out to his teammates. Panic was already running high on both sides at the threat of being caught inside of an exploding building. "I don't wanna take the chance that Chris is punking us again!"
"You're still mad he used Lily on us aren't you?" Dawn asked with a bit of an amused grin.
"That too!" Lincoln yelled before looking over his team and determining who would be the best to go about avoiding the lasers. He and Harold were definitely out for sure as they weren't exactly world class acrobat's, DJ and Jasmine wouldn't have any hope of squeezing through the laser, and Bridgette was too clumsy. That only left Dawn or Mike and of the two of them it was obvious "Mike you need to be the one to get through the lasers!"
"W-What?!" Mike's eyes widened in terror as he looked over all the lasers that could easily cut him into bits. "Y-You want me to g-go through all that?!"
"You're our best bet! Or should I say Svetlana is," Lincoln explained with a grin as he patted Mike on the shoulder. "You know what she can do and we've seen it for ourselves, Stevlana can easily get through all those to get the equipment."
"I-I don't, m-maybe she could-" Mike was cut off by letting out a deep gasp. Much to everyone's delight, the personality they wanted to see came out as Mike's eyes started sparking as Svetlana did some stretches to warm herself up. "Of course Svetlana can clear these with no difficulty! Leave it all to me!"
"Go Svetlana go!" The Gaffers all cheered as Svetlana got into a running position. Narrowing her eyes at the lasers, Svetlana smirked confidently before running forward. Everyone winced a bit in worry, but that worry soon disappeared as they watched Sveltana jump between the lasers and began making her way to the case.
"Vis is nothing to me!" Svetlana told everyone as she bypassed the lasers, taking a moment to look over all potential openings before progressing. While her words were confident, her acrobatic expertise was truly being put to the test here. Any little mistake could mean an end to her, but she would not fail! Her adoring fans and teammates were counting on her to do this. "Now you all can see why I am the one and only queen of gymnastics!"
"Crap! Crap! Crap!" Ronnie Anne let out as she watched this all happen. Again she regrets not picking Mike as she watched his character, or personality, or whatever the hell he was calling it Svetlana easily clearing the lasers and making her way to the glass case. Ronnie Anne couldn't afford to lose this, she refused to let the Gaffers gain back their numbers advantage. She was so close to finally making it even with them. "Heather! Get through the lasers quickly!"
"Excuse me, I know you just didn't tell me to go through all that," Heather let out as she gestured to the field of lasers. Heather didn't even flinch as Ronnie Anne shot her a glare at her defiance of this and Heather wasn't gonna allow herself to budge. "Those things could cut me clean in half! Why me?!"
"Because you're the only one skinny enough to go through them!" Ronnie Anne pointed out as she gestured to the rest of their team. "Justin and Geoff are too muscular to squeeze through, Lindsay's knockers have no hope of making it through, and I think Izzy would try to go through the lasers for fun!"
"Hey!" Izzy let out as she narrowed her eyes at the Latina.
"…Any reason why you didn't list yourself?" Heather asked with a sly grin as her eyes went downward towards Ronnie Anne's hips. "Wanna explain why you can't go through the lasers~"
In response Ronnie Anne grabbed Heather's top and yanked on it so Heather was now eye level with her. "You better hope you can get through those lasers or I'm pushing you through them myself!" Ronnie Anne threatened before pushing Heather forward. "Now move!"
"Gah!" Heather let out as she nearly ran right into one of the lasers. The queen bee shot Ronnie Anne a glare and a growl before looking forward and gulping. Hesitantly, Heather removed her wig and exposed her bald head before making her way through the lasers slowly and carefully.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"She better not think she can get away with treating me like this," Heather glared towards the camera, already beginning to plan her revenge. "The second where I'm in a position to save myself at her expense, I'm taking it~"
"Nearly…there!" Svetlana breathed out as she narrowed her eyes forward. The only opening she had was a thin one, but she could make it. Steadying herself and taking a deep breath, Svetlana leaped towards the opening and stretched her body out as thin as it could get. She held her breath to make sure her body was still as it went through the gap.
Time seemed to slow down as everyone watched Svetlana jump through the gap. Everyone feared for the worst with DJ and Harold even covering their eyes. But by some miracle Svetlana was able to make it through and land safely. But while she herself was safe…her shirt wasn't. When Svetlana went through the gap her body narrowly avoided the laser but her shirt wasn't so lucky as it was burnt off when she went through. And with her shirt gone Svetlana let out a deep gasp as her hair was slicked back and she was swapped in for another personality. "Oye, what's goin' on here?" Vito asked in confusion as he looked around and saw he was in the middle of the field of lasers. "What's with the fancy light show?"
"Oh that ain't good…" DJ let out as everyone from the Gaffers flinched.
"Of all the times for this to happen…" Bridgette let out with a bit of frustration in her voice as she anxiously pulled on her hair. "Dawn, anyway we can get Svetlana back in control?"
"Not unless we can get another shirt on him…" Dawn revealed the answer everyone was afraid of. "Vito! Look out for the lasers!"
"What lasers?" Vito asked before poking one of the lasers. Predictably, his finger experienced quite the burn once it touched the laser as Vito let out a pained yelp before she stuck his finger in his mouth to try and relieve the pain. "Hey if this is someone's idea of a joke it ain't funny!"
"Yes! Now's our chance!" Ronnie Anne smirked and pumped up a fist before looking at Heather who continued to slowly make her way through the lasers. "Heather, they lost their best acrobat! Hurry it up already!"
"Easy for you to say!" Heather shouted back in frustration, fearfully looking at the lasers as she managed to make her way past another one. "You're not the one in the middle of a death trap!"
"Don't worry! Izzy has a plan!" Izzy shouted out with a big grin. Running up to Geoff, Izzy took his hat off and put it on her head. "I'm gonna need this!"
"Hey!" Geoff let out as Izzy charged at the lasers.
Everyone watched in alarm as Izzy didn't slow down as she reached the lasers, but soon watched in amazement as the psycho hose beast made her way through the field of lasers all the while keeping that crazy grin on her face. While even the likes of Svetlana struggled a bit with the lasers, Izzy showed no such struggle as she jumped between the gaps perfectly like she had done this 100's of times. And given it was Izzy, that was probably true. "Woohoo!" Lindsay cheered as she began clapping her hands. "Way to go Izzy!"
"Woohoo!" Izzy yelled out as she continued to perfectly traverse through the hallway, not even any of her hairs being signed off as she moved through the lasers. Soon enough Izzy made it to the end of the hallway and landed in front of the glass case. Once she was there, Izzy grabbed the case in front of her with both hands, rose her head up and-
SMASH!!!
Completely broke the case apart by smashing it with her head. Once the case was destroyed all the lasers on the Grip's side of the room disappeared. "Oh thank God…" Heather let out as she collapsed on the floor.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Wow, first the caveman challenge and now this," Ronnie said with a smirk and a slightly impressed tone. "Looks like she might be useful after all,"
CONFESSIONAL – Izzy
"15…16…17…18…" Izzy counted the amount of glass shards in her face and hair.
"Izzy, that was awesome!" Geoff complimented the girl after all the Grips ran up to her as Izzy took the sack that was under the glass container, with Heather taking a few extra moments to meet up with her team since she needed a bit to recover after going through the lasers as well as to collect her wig. "But why'd you need my hat?"
"Oh I didn't," Izzy told the party dude as she handed his hat back to him. "I just wanted to try it on. Hahaha!"
"No time for that, what do we have here?" Ronnie Anne immediately snatched the bag from Izzy and checked what was inside, pulling out a grappling hook, a T-Bar for each member of the team, as well as a pair of bolt cutters. "Well this should help in getting out of here~"
"We can get through this window!" Lindsay yelled out as she opened up a window that was at the very end of the room. Looking around a bit, Lindsay perked up as she spotted a telephone pole and pointed to it. "There!"
"Alright, let's blow this popsicle stand!" Ronnie Anne grinned as she aimed the grappling hook at the telephone pole and successfully stretched a line from the tower they were in to the telephone pole. The Grips were quick to use their T-Bars to zipline out of the tower and to the safety of the outside with Ronnie Anne going last to do some last minute mocking to the Grips. "See ya lame-o! Try not to get blown up~!"
The Gaffers either growled or groaned in response to Ronnie Anne as she zip lined out of the tower. "Hey why is everyone so glum?" Vito asked as he got all attention on him and stuck out her chest and began flexing his muscles. "Vito is here~"
Everyone deadpanned at Vito before looking up at the ticking counter and letting out panicked gasps as they saw only 45 seconds left on the clock. "Crap we gotta move quick!" Lincoln yelled out before pointing to the glass case at the end of the hallway. "Ok we don't need to get through the lasers we just need to break the glass case!"
"I got this!" Jasmine claimed as she took out her dagger and took aim at the case, spotting a spot where she could throw the knife and hit the case and also have it avoid all the lasers. "Come on, don't let me down now girl!"
Everyone watched as Jasmine threw the dagger. They all held their breath as time seemed to slow down for them again as the dagger zoomed across the room, managing to get through the lasers. Soon everyone cheered as the dagger managed to hit the case and destroy it, making the lasers disappear. "Move! Move! Move!" DJ yelled out as everyone rushed towards the bag with Jasmine pulling out the grabbing hook, bolt cutters, and her knife with everyone grabbing a T-Bar.
"Let's do this!" Jasmine grinned as she opened the window and aimed at the same telephone pole Ronnie Anne fired at and managed to connect her team's own grappling hook to the pole. "Let's go everyone! No time to dilly dally! Move!"
Everyone let out a scream as they quickly attached their bars to the line and zip-lined out with Jasmine going last to make sure everyone successfully got out. Soon the Gaffers all joined the Grips on the ground where they all saw they were in a building with a bunch of explosives set up at the bottom of it. "The building blows in ten…nine…eight!" Chris' voice echoed throughout the loud speakers around the area.
"Oh crikey!" Jasmine yelled out as she hit the dirt and covered her ears.
"Seven…six…five…four…"
"Here it comes dudes!" Geoff yelled as he clenched his eyes shut.
"Three…two…one!"
"…"
"Suckers!!!" Chris yelled out as he appeared in person to everyone with Edward on his shoulder. Both having shit-eating grins on their faces as everyone looked up to glare at the two of them. "Ahahahahaha!"
CONFESSIONAL – DJ
"My momma taught me never to hate anyone," DJ claimed calmly before deadpanning at the camera, a bit of a glare on his face. "But I'm sure Chris is an exception."
"As if we have the budget to blow up an entire building!" Chris stated as he pointed a thumb back to the still intact building and all the explosives attached to it, revealed to be nothing but harmless plastic props. "But the looks on your faces! Hahaha!"
"Brbrbrbr!" Edward laughed out, clearly enjoying this just as much as the host was.
"…No supper for you tonight," Dawn claimed as she narrowed her eyes at the platypus, Edward flinching in response.
"Now then, I have a message for you about your next challenge," Chris told everyone as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. Pressing a button on it, a small holographic screen was projected in front of everyone showing Chef on a spinning chair with his back turned to everyone. "The big bad villain dude wants to talk to you,"
"Let me guess," Heather began with the roll of her eyes. "Chef is the big bad of this whole thing?"
"Wrong bald one!" A familiar voice yelled out in a bad Russian accent. Chef then spun the chair around revealing none other than Lily in his lap dressed as a classic spy movie villain, complete with an eyepatch. "I am the mastermind of this operation! Muhahahaha!"
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"It's always the cute ones…" Jasmine shook her head at it all.
CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay
"Oh I can never be mad at her!" Lindsay claimed as she gushed over Lily yet again, the ditzy blond clapping her hands together. "She makes such an adorable super villain!"
"My loyal henchman has planted two bombs in the facility!" Lily explained what was essentially their challenge in her super villain voice. "Both set off to go boom in a matter of minutes! And you'll never disable them in time! Muhahaha!!!"
"Where are the bombs Lily?" Lincoln asked his littlest sister bluntly.
"Come on Linky you can at least play along…" Lily slumped down a bit and gave her brother a cute glare and pout. She was putting up this whole act for the challenge and even got dressed up for it, the least everyone could do was try and indulge in the little character she was playing. Clearing her throat, Lily put her accent back on as she decided to answer her brother's question. "For the Gaffers, your bomb is located at the Gilded Chris stage! If you do not defuse it in time you will never go through another Gilded Chris Ceremony again!"
"That…doesn't sound too bad," Bridgette shrugged as many others agreed with the surfer girl.
Lily didn't respond to that as she turned to the Grips. "And Grips! Your bomb is located in the Crafts Services tent! If it goes off you will never eat again!" Lily revealed making Geoff, Lindsay, and Izzy gasp in shock with Ronnie Anne, Heather, and Justin having neutral faces. "But unfortunately a certain henchman messed up the wiring and the bomb is already a fourth of the way defused!"
"I'm a cook! Not a pyrotechnic!" Chef claimed with the roll of his eyes. "Get off my back!"
"Alright! Let's save the food dudes!" Geoff yelled out passionately before running in the direction of the Crafts Services tent with the rest of the Grips soon following.
"We haven't lost this yet guys," Lincoln told his team, trying to boost up their morale after losing the first half of the challenge. "We can do this! We just gotta hurry!"
"Geez calm down bro," Vito told Lincoln as he held up his hand. "Your hair is already white enough as it is without ya stressing out."
"…But first let's get a shirt on him," Lincoln deadpanned with the Gaffers all nodding in agreement.
CHEF AND LILY
"Now my henchman!" Lily yelled towards Chef, still dressed in her villain costume. Currently the two were in the lamosine together with Chef of course driving and Lily in the passenger seat pointing where to go. "To the ice cream shop down the road!"
"Alright, alright," Chef rolled his eyes in response as he made a right turn. "…Can I get something too?"
"Yes you may," Lily smiled and nodded his head.
"Yes!" Chef cheered with a grin as he sped up a little.
THE GAFFERS
Once the Gaffers made it to the Gilded Chris stage, just as Lily said they found a bomb on the stage that was currently at a half hour on the timer and continuing to count down. Lincoln was the one to approach the bomb and carefully picked it up and carefully examined it…and was immediately confused by it. Rather than a typical bomb it looked more like a puzzle box with eight different sections, four on each side of it with each area having a different sort of puzzle on it.
"This is…the most confusing bomb I've ever seen…" Lincoln let out as he carefully set it down.
"Regardless we need to defuse it and fast," Harold stated as he looked around a bit and saw a notebook sitting elsewhere on the stage. Picking it up, Harold looked through it and grinned at the contents of it. "Bomb schematic! This is how we defuse it!"
"Ok Jasmine, hand me the bolt cutters." Lincoln ordered, the Australian Amazon throwing them to Lincoln. "Everyone stand back, Harold read me the schematics. Let's do this thing!"
"Ok then…" Harold opened up the notebook to the first page. Meanwhile all the other Gaffers were quick to back away and hopefully get out of the bomb's range in case Lincoln messed up or Harold gave him the wrong instructions causing the bomb to go off. They cared about the two of them…but they still wanted to steer clear if it was about to blow. "First one is the keypad with the symbols,"
"Got it," Lincoln nodded as he covered his finger above the keypad above one of the parts of the bomb. "Do I press them in a specific order?"
"Yes, first press 3,"
"3."
"8."
"8."
"1."
"1."
"0."
"0."
"5."
"5."
"5."
"5."
After Lincoln put in the number the keypad opened up revealing a pack of four AA batteries. "We got batteries," Lincoln immediately told Harold. "Double A's."
"Take out the third one first, then the fourth one, then the second one, and finally the first one. The first one being the leftmost battery," Lincoln nodded as he took the batteries out in that exact order with a light going green on that part of the bomb. "Alright, that should have successfully defused that part! Onto the next one!"
"Keep laying it on me Harold," Lincoln told his friend as he kept his eye on the bomb, a few beads of sweat going down Lincoln's head. Now he understood why this was Cody's phobia, this was stressful as heck! Still, they could win this. He just had to keep his cool and simply follow the instructions Harold gave him. "What's next?"
THE GRIPS
"Hmmmmm, looks like a standard model," Izzy stated as she examined the bomb. Like with the Gaffers they had a bomb that had a variety of different puzzles on it. But two of their puzzles had green lights on it showing they were already defused, just like Lily said. It didn't take a genius to figure out that was their advantage to escaping out of the building first. Once they arrived at the Crafts Services tent they found their bomb as well as the notebook containing the schematics of it on one of the tables. "Could be low blast force, buuuut I should hit it a few times just to make sure!"
"Say what?" Heather's eyes immediately widened in alarm.
Izzy then brought up her fist and was about to hit the bomb but luckily Ronnie Anne immediately took the bomb away from her. "Nope!" Ronnie Anne let out before pushing Izzy away and towards Geoff. "Geoff, hold Izzy back so she doesn't kill us. The rest of us will work on the bomb. Justin that notebook must be the schematics, check it out.
"Can't be too hard right?" Justin asked as he took the notebook and immediately began flipping through it…and soon ate his words. "…Crap."
"Look, we can't lose this challenge. Two of these things are already completed so we have an advantage over the Gaffers." Ronnie Anne yelled towards Justin as she pulled out the bolt cutters and sat them down on the table in front of the bomb. "So just read what it says and I'll handle it!"
"O-Ok, you're the boss." Justin nervously nodded before he began inching his way towards the kitchen part of the tent. "I'll just...read them to you from the safety of the kitchen. Sounds good? Sounds good!"
"Grrrr…" Ronnie Anne let out in irritation before rubbing her temples. "Si muero lo arrastrare conmigo al infierno…"
THE GAFFERS
Things were tense with the Gaffers as they all continued to watch Harold and Lincoln work on defusing the bomb. Everyone's hearts were beating a mile a minute as Lincoln slowly but surely defused the different parts of the bomb after following Harold's instructions to the letter. Practically everyone's clothes were stained with sweat from sheer nervousness, especially the likes of Lincoln and Harold considering they were right there in front of the explosive.
"Geez, this is really tense…" DJ said as he took off his cap to wipe the sweat off his head. "I'm not even the one defusing it and I can't stop shaking, feels like at any moment either one of them could make the tiniest mistake and set it off...just hope we're out of the blast radius."
"You're telling me mate…" Jasmine gulped nervously as she crossed her arms nervously. Barring being in tight spaces, Jasmine considered herself to be a woman with nerves of steel. She's tangled with the worst her country has to offer from the dangers of the outback to the everyday house spider as big as Owen's head. But nothing could have prepared her for how simply watching this felt. She couldn't even imagine how Lincoln and Harold were handling this right now. "Could cut the tension in the air with a knife…think the bomb is real this time?"
"Hard to say considering it's Chris." Bridgette muttered out rather bitterly knowing they just had to expect the unexpected when it comes to Chris. "Let's just hope if it is a real bomb that it's a trash bomb like with Cody last season. Definitely a better alternative to…you know…"
"Oh boy please don't give me that image…" Mike went a bit green as unfortunately that thought did indeed enter his head and made Mike a bit sick to his stomach. He just had to hope that the bomb was either another punk or a trash bomb like Bridgette said it could be. "Just…silently keep cheering for them. They got this…"
"I'm sure they'll be fine. Both work well under pressure, Harold saved us all during the Disaster movie challenge remember?" Everyone would rather not remember that challenge but they all nodded their head at Dawn's words. While Dawn was doing her best to appear calm and collected on the outside but she was definitely still worried about both Harold and especially Lincoln's safety. "I'm sure they'll be ok."
"Just hope the Grips aren't doing too well," Jasmine muttered as they continued to simply watch.
THE GRIPS
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN CUT THE FIVE WIRES!?" Ronnie Anne snapped at Justin as she gestured harshly to the bomb and the section that very much had only four wires. "THERE'S ONLY FOUR!!!"
"WELL THE NOTEBOOK SAYS FIVE!" Justin yelled back from the safety of under the table in the kitchen. He's been trying his best to help Ronnie Anne defuse the bomb but the instructions were complicated and Ronnie Anne yelling at him like this wasn't exactly helping out. "IT SAYS CUT THE FIRST, FOURTH, SECOND, FIFTH, AND THIRD ONE IN THAT ORDER IF THERE'S ONLY FOUR WIRES THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU!!!"
"HOW ABOUT TELLING ME SOMETHING USEFUL THAT'LL BE A BIG HELP!!!" Ronnie Anne snapped back as she slammed a palm on the table. "WE ONLY GOT 15 MORE MINUTES AND SO HELP ME IF IT BLOWS I WILL THROW IT RIGHT AT YOU!!!"
Meanwhile on the other half of the Craft Services Tent by the entrance the four other team members were using all the other tables from the tent as a barricade. "Um…" Geoff awkwardly began as he poked the top half of his head from the barricade. "Shouldn't we do something to help them out…"
"You wanna get in the middle of a potential explosion, be my guest." Heather told him as she filed her nails from the safety of the barricade. "But she pushed me into a bunch of deadly lasers, as far as I'm concerned if she wants to be in the epicenter of an explosion that's on her."
"Just tell me when it's over." Lindsay said as she kept her ears covered, ready for the explosion to come at any time now. "Think this will hold?"
"Hmmmm," Izzy hummed out before tapping the tables a bit. "Depends on what part she messed up on,"
That only made Lindsay flinch more.
THE GAFFERS
Five minutes were left on the timer for the Gaffers' bomb and Lincoln grinned a bit as the green light went off on the component he was working on now. "That makes seven! One more to go Harold!" Lincoln said in between breaths. Lincoln's heart was beating faster than it ever had before in his life but it looked like they were gonna pull it off and net themselves another win! "Give it to me!"
"Got it, you're gonna need the bolt cutters for this one," Harold told Lincoln as he turned to the last few pages of the notebook. "First you're going to need to remove the casing to expose the wiring."
"Right," Lincoln nodded his head and did just that, popping off the casing of the last part…and immediately felt his heart skip a beat. Instead of just a few wires of different colors it was a whole mess of tangled up wires of different colors with some being similar shades. "Um Harold…we may have a problem here…"
"Ok just give me a second to look over this…" Harold nervously began reading through the page.
"Oh come on guys hurry up!" Mike felt his anxiety get the better of him as he bit on his finger nails, everything really coming down to the wire here. "We don't have much longer left! And who knows if the Grips are close to being done or not!"
But in his frustration, Mike let out a deep gasp and a certain cranky personality took over and stood up from where he was sitting. "Oh for Pete's sake!" Chester yelled out as he began storming up to Lincoln. Everyone gasped out in worry and began running after Chester as the old man took the bolt cutters from Lincoln. "It's not a rocket ship! Just cut all of them and the bomb won't be able to work!"
"No Chester!" Harold yelled out to the alternate personality. "Don't!!!"
But everyone watched in horror as Chester got all the wires into the bolt cutters and-
SNIP!
"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Everyone yelled out as they quickly hit the dirt.
…
…
…
"…There see!" Chester yelled out after a few seconds with nothing happening. "It's fi-"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
And like that the bomb went off after a few seconds of delay. Thankfully it was only a garbage bomb…but that still meant everyone was covered in garbage. "Uuugh…" A dazed Chester let out. "Did anyone get the number of that taxi…"
Everyone glared at Chester as he fell to the ground with everyone cringing at how they smelled now. "Today I woke up with a headache…" Lincoln let out in irritation. "Now I have a headache and I am covered in garbage…one of those days…"
"Ooooo, that stinks big time for Gaffers!" Chris announced through the speakers, the host of course watching everything from a safe distance. "Since they're bomb went off first, the Grips automatically win! Gaffers, a tomato juice bath awaits you in front of the trailers. While you're soaking, better pick your favorite loser to kick off."
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Aaaah, feels good~" Ronnie Anne smirked as she leaned back in her chair, an incredibly cocky smirk covering her face. "Now we're all tied up and we're clear to finally start dominating the Gaffers. Watch out Lame-O, you're time on this show is coming to an end~"
Back in front of the trailers just as promised, a vat of tomato juice was waiting for the Gaffers to soak in, in order to rid themselves of the putrid smell that now covered them. As they were soaking in the juice, the Grips walked up to them with the usual Heather, Justin, and Ronnie Anne giving them mocking smirks. "Oh this is just beautiful~" Ronnie Anne said as she got glares from the entire opposing team. "I knew you guys stunk but this is something else."
"…Hey Ronnie Anne," Lincoln began as he pointed to the side. "What's that?"
"Pfft, nice try," Ronnie Anne crossed her arms and gave a cocky smirk. "I'm not falling for-"
SPLASH!
"AH!" Ronnie Anne let out as Lincoln splashed her with the tainted tomato juice. "Grrrr!"
"Now put an egg in your shoe and beat it!" Lincoln told her, causing Ronnie Anne to scoff before she and her team walked away. "Welp, guess we're facing elimination guys."
"Yeah…" Jasmine began before looking towards Mike. "Chester."
"…Crap…" Mike let out as he lowered his head.
CONFESSIONAL – Mike
"Well Trent, looks like I'm joining you sooner rather than later…" A downtrodden Mike let out.
THE GILDED CHRIS CEREMONY
Once again as the lights and music of the Gilded Chris Ceremony blared throughout the film lot the Gaffers sat down in the loser seats while the Grip sat themselves down in the VIP section. Chris grinned as he adjusted his bow tie and walked over to the podium, but nearly tripped on the way there. "Woah!" Chris let out as he managed to straighten himself out before looking down and seeing a hole that was on the stage caused by the Gaffers bomb going off earlier. "Chef, you were supposed to fix that!"
"I got busy!" Chef yelled…before licking an ice cream cone in his hand.
"What the-is that ice cream?" Chris glared at Chef and pointed to the cone in the buff cook's hand. "Where's mine?"
"…It's in the mail." Chef told the host with narrowed eyes.
"Ugh, why to hold a grudge bro," Chris rolled his eyes before stepping up to the podium. "Gaffers welcome back to the loser town, looks like you guys are starting to slip! Well the Grips will be happy to see that tonight the teams will finally be evened up again! As usual, take out your voting devices and make your choice of who to send home forever!"
COFESSIONAL – Lincoln
"I feel bad voting someone out due to a mental condition," Lincoln sighed out, guilt eating at his conscience a bit. "But it's too risky at times, who knows if it'll cost us another challenge down the road."
CONFESSIONAL – DJ
"Least he'll be able to hang out with Trent again," DJ tried to find the bright side of having to vote Mike off.
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"Look I fully accept Mike and certainly don't hate him for his condition…" Jasmine began before glaring a bit at the camera. "But that doesn't mean it can't annoy me to no tomorrow,"
Soon enough Chef came in with both the Gilded Chris' and vote results, all the while still enjoying his ice cream cone. "Alright Screaming Gaffers as usual, if you don't get a Gilded Chris then you'll be Double-0 out today!" Chris announced before picking up the first two Gilded Chris awards. "Lincoln, Dawn, the power couple lives on!"
"Yes!" Lincoln and Dawn cheered as they held hands and caught their Gilded Chris awards.
"DJ, Jasmine, you're both safe as well!" Chris tossed the awards to the team's powerhouses.
"Right on," Jasmine grinned as she and DJ shared a high five.
"Harold, you live to see another day as well."
"Sweet!" Harold breathed a sigh of relief as he caught his reward.
That left Bridgette and Mike to tense up as they looked at each other nervously. "Bridgette!" The surfer girl flinched a bit as Chris called her name. "You're on the chopping block because your clumsiness with the lasers nearly turned you into two halves of a teammate. Far less useful than a whole teammate."
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Not cool dude…" Geoff said with a glare.
"And Mike!" Mike gulped a bit as Chris got to him. "You're DID kinda screwed everyone over today and caused you to lose the challenge for your team when you were about to win it! Your alternate personalities have shown to be quite the double edged sword!"
"Yeah…" Mike sighed out as he slumped in his seat.
"And the last Gilded Chris goes to…" Chris began as he got ready to throw the last award. Both Mike and Bridgette looked on nervously, beads of sweat rolling down their heads as they waited with baited breath for Chris to announce the last safe member of the team. "…Bridgette."
"Oh thank goodness," Bridgette let out a sigh of relief as she caught her Gilded Chris.
"Oooooh…" Mike groaned out as he stood up and was ready to take the walk of shame.
"Sorry man," DJ apologized to Mike. "You were just a bit much today,"
"No, no, I get it. You're right," Mike let out before putting on his best smile. "But hey, for my first go around, 8th out of 20 isn't too bad. Kind of expected to be out sooner than that haha. Just…thanks for keeping me around for this long. Good luck guys, I'll be cheering all of you on."
And so Mike made his way down the carpet of shame, and was the first of the three newcomers to head inside the lamosine and drive away from Total Drama Action for good. "Welp, looks like we already lost one of our newbies. Not gonna lie, thought it'd happen a lot sooner." Chris chuckled a bit before he began walking away while looking towards the camera. "The teams are now even at 6 and 6, will the Gaffers be able to pull out another win or have the Grips truly turned the tables on them? Find out the answer to this and more next time on Total. Drama. Ac-AH!"
And Chris ended the episode by falling in the hole that was on the stage.
