"Last time on Total Drama Action," Chris began the recap while standing in front of a white board with crude drawings of the events of the last episode on it, that Chris pointed to with a pointer stick. "It was a festival of guts, determination, and sweat, as yours truly put our contestants through their sports movie paces. Harold was beat up in slow motion, Bridgette was suspiciously off her game, balls were hit and kicked, and Jasmine didn't even try to compete with Izzy in the gymnastic trial. But let's face it, the real event here was Dawn and Ronnie Anne going up against each other in no holds barred wrestling where Dawn went from a pacifist, to more of a paci-FIST as she snapped and completely beat the crap out of Ronnie Anne. While entertaining to watch, it caused nearly all her teammates to fear her and make her prime to be voted off, but I quickly pulled the rug over everyone and revealed it to be a nice and safe reward challenge! You thought last week was fierce? Well it'll be an all out war now this week! It's a desperate fight for survival on Total. Drama. Action!"
Things were awkwardly quiet in the Crafts Service Tent this morning as no one was really feeling all that chatty. Lindsay was sitting away from most of her teammates, the ditzy blond not wanting to deal with them was understandable. So she had taken to sitting at a table by herself after getting her food and just enjoying some alone time.
Geoff was at the same table as Ronnie Anne, Heather, and Justin being the only Grip to stick with the three even if he was sitting a fair distance away on the table. The party dude did look up to give the occasional concerned glance to Ronnie Anne. Ever since the…incident during the Sports Movie challenge Ronnie Anne has been very closed off with everyone.
And it showed with the Hispanic teen as she simply looked down and glared at her food. Her face was still swollen and bruised from the beating Dawn gave her with it still stinging from time to time. Ronnie Anne's aggression and anger were higher than they've ever been, rage completely filling her mind ever since the last challenge. She's been even nastier towards everyone regardless if they were on her team or not. Even now rather than eating she was simply stabbing into her food with a fork with her alliance-mates watching.
And with the Gaffers currently only four of them were in the Crafts Service Tent, those being Bridgette, Jasmine, DJ, and Harold. Over the days since the sports challenges all of them have been rather…distant with Dawn to say the least. They all saw a new and very unpleasant side to the nature lover and it just made it harder to be around her. Which is why currently Lincoln was with Dawn, their white headed team leader pretty much being around her 24/7 to provide her emotional support which made it harder for everyone to also be around him unless they approached him during one of the few moments he wasn't with his girlfriend.
At the moment the only one who seemed to be back to normal was Izzy who was just as unnormal as ever with the Psycho Hose Beast playing with her food in her own special Izzy way.
"G-Good morning everyone," The Gaffers all flinched a bit as a familiar voice made themselves known as she along with Lincoln entered the Crafts Services tent. Dawn looked to be doing better but it was obvious she was still both distressed over both what had happened and how her teammates were around her. She understood why they were now scared of her, and she had tried to reconcile with them over the last few days but they kept avoiding her. She wasn't gonna try and force anything but it did really hurt to see how they felt about her now. "N-Nice morning isn't it?"
"I…guess so…" Bridgette slowly said while she and the others glanced away from Dawn.
"Grrrrrr!" Ronnie Anne viciously growled the moment she saw Lincoln and Dawn. It just pissed her off so much to see the two of them, much more than before. Not only did Dawn beat her up on international television but that didn't do anything to damage their relationship at all! While all the other Gaffers were now fearing Dawn, Lincoln was practically glued to her hip!
Justin noticed this and decided to make a quick joke about it. "Ya know you should stop scowling so much," Justin said as he pointed to Ronnie Anne's face with a bit of a mocking smirk. "It'll only make your face swell up more."
"…" But much to their surprise Ronnie Anne didn't react, say anything, or even give Justin a heated glare. The Latina's eyes were firmly locked onto Lincoln and Dawn as she glared daggers at them, trying to strike them down with her look alone to little success.
"We won three times in a row," Heather informed Ronnie Anne of their increasing winning streak over the Gaffers. Heather had to get Ronnie Anne's head back in the game otherwise they were gonna crash and burn right when they had something good going for them. "And everyone is scared of the hippie, you should be happy,"
"…" But once again Ronnie Anne didn't give any sort of response and only continued to glare at Lincoln and Dawn much to Heather's irritation.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"We made such good progress with her, and now she's worse than before," Heather facepalmed over how much Ronnie Anne has regressed now. After all the time of actually getting that temper under control to properly use their teammates, it was all gone in an instant after what happened during the sports challenge. "We might need to do something drastic."
"Hey guys," Lincoln greeted everyone as he and Dawn sat down, the two taking up the left side of the table while everyone else was sitting on the right. Dawn gave her teammates a nervous smile while everyone flinched as she sat down at the table with them. "Sorry it took us a while to get here, me and Dawn ended up falling asleep together at the cowboy set, spent the night there on a bit of a date,"
"Oh, uh, ain't no problem mate," Jasmine shrugged rather awkwardly, noticeably looking away from Dawn. Lincoln easily noticed them and sent the Australian Amazon an irritated look. It really pained Lincoln to see his team, who used to be so friendly with Dawn, treat her like this. He understood, but he just wished they would at least talk to her about it. But on Dawn's request he held himself back from doing anything about it. "You weren't keeping us,"
"G-Good, that-that's good," Dawn heavily stuttered as she tried talking to her teammates, hoping to connect with them once again. Or more accurately hoping they would be willing to connect with her again. She just had to keep crossing her fingers that enough time had passed that they would at least try. "So is today's food any good?"
"Y-Yeah…I guess it is…" DJ began…sliding away from Dawn towards the end of the table getting a sigh from Dawn and a small glare from Lincoln. "Just another good breakfast I guess…"
"…" Lincoln took a deep breath as he looked between his girlfriend and his teammates. Along with him just wanting them to treat Dawn like a friend again, this could also hamper their ability to work together as a team. Now that they were on a decently long losing streak they really had to work hard in order to get another win and keep someone from going home. "Guys come on-"
"Lincoln, stop…" Dawn shook her head as she got up. As much as she wanted Lincoln to say it, it would be wrong to just have him tell them to get along with her again as an order as a leader. She didn't want that, she wanted to get back in their good graces the true way. It looks like it would just take more time for that to happen is all. "I'll just…go get us some food…"
With her head lowered, Dawn went to get her and Lincoln a tray. But as she was about to make a grab for some. "DAWN!" Suddenly Izzy's yell got everyone's attention as the psycho hose beast jumped on top of the table she was on and flipped from table to table before landing in front of Dawn, giving the aura reader a big grin. "Hey Dawn! Where were you? I didn't see you in the tree this morning! I got worried."
"You…You were…" Dawn blinked a bit in disbelief as she looked up at Izzy. Izzy…was being completely normal with her. Well, normal being subjective considering this was Izzy but still! She was talking with her and didn't look shaken up at all! "You're…not afraid of me?"
"Pfft nah!" Izzy waved this off, knowing what Dawn was talking about and immediately reassuring the platinum blond that they were still on good terms. "Won't lie, it was a little crazy but if I was afraid of you for beating up a Hispanic girl I'd be a complete hypocrite! Hehe, man…that was a crazy Christmas Eve party I can't even tell you. Just…totally, totally crazy, haha."
"…" Dawn was silent for a moment, but her eyes began tearing up as she hugged Izzy tightly, burying her head in the psycho hose beast's chest.
"Aaaaww, bring it in!" Izzy smiled widely as she happily returned Dawn's embrace, lifting her off the ground a bit.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"It's been…really, really hard lately…with everyone being afraid of me after my little…blow up," Dawn explained sadly, looking downwards before managing to crack a small smile as she looked up at the camera. "But knowing that not only Lincoln but also Izzy is still there for me…it helps. I just hope on the great mother earth that I'll be able to redeem myself to my teammates…"
After Lincoln and Dawn managed to eat their breakfast, stepping into the room was Chef dressed in his Master Chief outfit yet again. "ATTENTION!!!" The buff cook snapped, getting all eyes on him. As if on instinct now DJ shot straight up from his seat and stood up perfectly straight. Chef gave him a quick nod of approval before addressing everyone else. "Listen up maggots and listen good! I want everyone to line up single file and follow me to the location of the challenge. NOW!!! So move maggots move!!! Or I'll bring out the piranha's!!!"
Not wanting to see if Chef was bluffing with that last part or not, everyone quickly began following his orders and began following the buff cook out of the Crafts Services tent.
CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette
"Oddly nostalgic in some way," Bridgette said, remembering the boot camp challenge from last season.
Chef then brought both teams over to a war movie set where Chris was waiting for them wearing sunglasses and an army helmet that had a star on the front of it. "Today, we're all about war movies," Chris announced the genre of today's challenge as he marched back and forth in front of both teams. "So look lively you-"
"Hopeless buckets of horse doo-doo!" Chef yelled to both teams, finishing Chris' sentence for him.
"So hope you're all ready for the draft!" Chris followed up with getting many worried looks in response. "Because we're about to start our first death defying challenge you-"
"Disgusting slimy crustaceans!" Chef again provided some hurtful words to call everyone.
"Move it privates!" Chris clapped his hands to get things started nice and quick like. "Fall in!"
"Sir yes sir!" Everyone responded in unison.
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"Was always told I was cut out for the army, I mean look at me," Jasmine bragged as she flexed her muscles, showing she'd be an easy pick for any military school she'd sign up for. "I mean I have different dreams of course, but the idea of being in the army does sound pretty cool! Especially a marine, now those are some tough S.O.B's!"
"I am so pumped!" Harold let out excitedly as everyone began following Chris to where the first challenge would take place. "My squad in Battlefront has won 10 online multiplayer gaming titles. Our secret to our success, teamwork."
"Impressive, our squads should meet each other some time," Lincoln told Harold with a grin before addressing the rest of his team. "And Harold has the right idea about teamwork guys, I know you all are…a bit stressed over what happened last time, but can we please try to work together and win this? We don't wanna lose to the Grips again do we?"
Dawn gave everyone a hopeful smile as the rest of the team looked at each other and tried to contemplate what to do. "We…should try that," Bridgette was thankfully the reasonable one here and nodded her head. She hated thinking about Dawn like this and did want to give the nature lover a second chance, she just couldn't help but be a little wary. "We should try and work together and get along,"
"Thank you Bridgette," Both Lincoln and Dawn sent the surfer girl thankful looks as they continued on their way to whatever the first challenge would be.
Whatever challenge they were taken to required everyone to be blindfolded. Once they made it inside a building on the war set Chris and Chef handed blindfolds for everyone to wear, with DJ being a bit shaken up about it. After a while everyone found themselves sitting in some metal room with the sound of an engine hitting their ears. "Ok everyone, remove your blindfolds." Chris ordered with everyone quick to take them off…only to realize they were inside a plane that was flying high up in the sky. Chris then walked up to them dragging a large chest with him that had the logo of a parachute on it. "When it comes to making a good war movie, learning how to parachute out of a moving plane is the most dangerous stunt there is," Chris then opened up the chest of parachutes before opening the plane door, making everyone gasp in horror. "So naturally, it's our first challenge!"
As everyone else was voicing their worries about this, Lindsay spoke up with her usual ditzy smile completely unaware of the danger. "If we live, I think I should totally be our team's admiral!" Lindsay told her team with most of them looking on in disbelief. "I could be called Admiral Lindsay her Hottness!"
"Admirals are in charge of sailors, not soldiers you idiot!" Heather yelled at Lindsay causing the blond to glare at her. "And as if any of us would do anything you say! Besides, we already have a team leader!"
"Well she hasn't done anything to deserve it! Especially recently, she's just been crabby with everyone!" Lindsay stood up and yelled back at Heather with crossed arms. Lindsay could see her team was dysfunctional and needed a real leader. "So someone needs to step up!"
As the two girls began arguing, Geoff looked over to Lincoln and narrowed his eyes at the white head. Getting up and heading over to him, Geoff voiced something to Lincoln that's been on his mind ever since the last challenge. "Dude, Dawn went a little…far with Ronnie Anne during the last challenge." Geoff informed Lincoln as the Loud boy looked up at the party dude with a neutral look. "Don't you think she deserves an apology?"
"Nope," Lincoln said with no hesitation at all.
"What?!" Geoff yelled out in disbelief. Lincoln wasn't gonna give any sort of apology at all to his ex over his girlfriend beating the crap out of her!? "But-"
"Listen Geoff," Lincoln cut off the party dude to explain himself. "Me and Dawn agree she went too far. We both let Ronnie Anne get to us so from now on we're both just gonna forget about her. We'll admit our mistake, but we owe her nothing."
All Geoff could do was look at Lincoln in disbelief.
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Dude…Lincoln really isn't a nice guy…" Geoff slowly said, now seeing Lincoln in a completely new negative light. "Guess Ronnie Anne was right…"
As Geoff began glaring at Lincoln, Justin quickly made his way over to both Lindsay and Izzy, Lindsay having stormed away from Heather after their argument and going to sit with one of the few teammates she actually liked. "Izzy, Lindsay, I wanna propose something. But don't get excited because it's not marriage." Justin chuckled a bit at his joke but only got unamused looks from the two girls making the handsome teen clear his throat awkwardly. "Anywho…it's a long way from the airplane to the ground below so here's the deal! I need you two to jump before me in case I need a soft place to land!"
Lindsay merely pursed her lip at Justin while narrowing her eyes at him with Izzy still looking unamused causing Justin to bat his eyes at the girls only to again receive no reaction. "Now you girls know I don't just blink these eyes at anyone!" Justin tried again…to the same results. "Really? Nothing? When was your last eye examine!?"
And noticing all of this was Heather.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"Well looks like pretty boy has run out of usefulness," Heather stated, knowing full well what had to be done now. "I'll have to talk with Ronnie Anne later about this…assuming she's even willing to listen. Ugh, this whole alliance is a mess now."
"Drop zone approaching!" Chris announced as he looked out the door of the plane. "Form a line! It's time to par-tay! Stunt people undergo weeks of training before they parachute. Luckily we're gonna skip all that and get to the fun part! Jumping!"
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Harold asked, understandably nervous about jumping out of a moving plane.
"What's the worst that can happen?" Chris asked with an innocent shrug.
"We die!" Ronnie Anne yelled out. She had one deadly experience on this show and she did not want another one!
"I know!" Chris laughed with his usual grin on his face and a phone held up to his ear. "Hilarious! Haha! Time to jump! Oh, but one more thing," Everyone was dreading what that one more thing was as Chris put his phone away. "I just spoke to our research department, there were no parachutes in World War One!"
"So what do we do for a challenge?" Heather asked, trying not to look relieved that they wouldn't have to do any parachuting down a moving plane.
"Simple!" And all relief was gone as Chris kicked all the parachutes off.
Everyone gasped in horror, but soon all watched Izzy stood up. The Psycho Hose Beast then picked up Justin and held him over her head. "A-Ah! Izzy! W-What are you doing?!" Justin yelled out in alarm only to gasp in horror as Izzy walked them over to the door. "Wait! Izzy! We can talk about this! We can-AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
All jaws dropped as Izzy threw Justin off the plane before turning around and grinning at everyone. "I'll see you all in Hell!" Izzy yelled before cannonballing out of the plane. "GERONIMOOOOO!!!!"
"Chris, this is crazy!" Lincoln yelled out to the host in alarm as the white head rushed up to him. "You can't make us do this!"
"Relax dude!" Chris told Lincoln, giving the Loud boy a pat on the shoulder. "Think of this as practice for next time!"
"Next time?!" Lincoln repeated in alarm. "What next time!?"
"Oops~ Said too much~" Chris laughed a bit…before pushing Lincoln off the plane. "Good luck dude!"
"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Lincoln yelled out as he fell.
"LINCOLN!!!" Both Dawn and Bridgette yelled in horror at seeing him get pushed off with both going after him and jumping out the plane as a result.
"BRIDGETTE!" Geoff yelled as he also went after his girlfriend.
And with so many people leaving at once, the plane ended up tipping with all the standing constants yelling as they slid out of the plane and began to fall. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" Harold let out as he fell out of the plane…only for the fall to come to a sudden stop with Harold alive and well. "AAAAAHHHH…Aaaaah…..aaah…am I dead yet?"
"No but you will be if you keep screaming in my ear!" Heather yelled out as she along with everyone else were piled on a large mattress. Turns out they weren't high in the sky. The plane was stationary on the ground with large fans going off and a green screen showing a moving sky that only gave them the illusion of flying. "Ugh, it was another hoax…"
"Ooooh so it was fake," Izzy laughed a bit as she and everyone else stood up. "That explains why I wasn't freaking out,"
"Oh right, you're afraid of flying," Izzy's words helped Lincoln remember the phobia challenge from last season where both Izzy and Owen shared a fear of flying. "Forgot about that."
"Ugh, I've had just about enough of this stupid show…" Ronnie Anne growled out as she stood up and straightened her clothes.
"Let's roll soldiers!" Chris yelled out to everyone as he stood at the edge of the door to the plane, the host looking greatly amused with himself over the trick he just pulled on everyone. "Because the second part of this challenge is gonna blow your mind! And everything else within a 50-foot radius!"
Once again both teams were taken outside to the actual war movie set, only the set was split right down the middle with blast proof glass with a pile of something behind both rows of it that was covered by a sheet. Lily and Edward were also there with both sporting army helmets to fit with the theme of the challenge. "Behold!" Chris announced as Lily and Edward pulled the sheets from both piles revealing a pile of bombs ranging from missiles to grenades.
"Woah! Woah! Hold up!" Lincoln's big brother instincts quickly took in as he pulled Lily away from the pile she revealed. "Are those explosives!"
"Relax snowball, they're paint bombs. And you'll be using them for the second part of the challenge." Chris explained as Lincoln breathed a sigh of relief and set down Lily. "We've divided the camp into two halves that both teams will turn into giant canvases. Use those bombs to create a nice creative and controlled explosion that will be judged by yours truly, Lily, and Edward."
"And don't expect any bias big brother," Lily firmly told Lincoln, though her firm face looked more cute than anything. "I'm a tough critic!"
"Believe me I know," Lincoln rolled his eyes in amusement, knowing that Lily could be quite the tough judge when she wanted to be.
"You both have half an hour to set things up," Chris announced as he pulled out a stopwatch. "Starting…now!"
Immediately the Gaffers turned to Lincoln as their leader put a hand to his chin in thought. "Got any plans Linc?" Jasmine asked as she looked down at the Gaffer leader. "You're the artist here,"
"Hmmm…if you wanna win a judged competition, you gotta know your judges…and I think we know ours quite well," Lincoln smirked as he looked over to Chris, who's opinion would be much higher than either Lily or Edward's. "I know just what to do~" Lincoln smirked before taking out his drawing journal and immediately began sketching up a layout of things based around the land they had to work with. After a moment he showed it to everyone. "Here's where we'll put everything, and to make sure we get things done on time we'll split into groups of two, pick an area, and set the bombs up in the proper place. I'll go with Harold, Bridgette and Jasmine can be together, Dawn you go with DJ,"
"S-She will?" DJ asked with a bit of a shaky voice.
"Yes. She will." Lincoln told DJ in a firm voice that left no room for argument. "Come on guys, we gotta get to work so we can win this. Everyone grab as many explosives as you can and start setting things up."
Everyone nodded as Lincoln and Harold took their share of explosives, Bridgette grabbed a bunch of the grenades while Jasmine carried the heavy duty stuff, and Dawn and DJ were left to pick up the remaining. "So…I guess we're working together on this…" Dawn tried her best to strike up conversation. "Should be fun…right?"
"Y-Yeah I guess so…" DJ looked away from Dawn fearfully as he picked up most of the remaining explosives before quickly running off.. "S-Sorry Dawn I gotta…go over there!"
All Dawn could do was sigh and pick up the remaining paint bombs.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"…Mother earth have mercy…" Dawn desperately prayed.
Over with the Grips things were going quite…interestingly. "Attention minions!" Lindsay yelled out to everyone as she stepped forward, the ditzy blond now wearing an admiral's hat and jacket that she got from…somewhere. "Admiral Lindsay her hotness is going to tell you how this is going to work!"
"Excuse me, did I not make this clear before?!" Heather immediately got angry at what Lindsay was doing and stomped up to her, ready to start another argument with the blond over leadership. "There is no way in heck we're following your orders here, I doubt you even know what to do!"
"Well at least I'm trying! I doubt any of you know how to do this either!" Lindsay retorted as she pointed a finger right at Heather, making the queen bee gasp. Just who did Lindsay think she was to talk to her that way?! Lindsay was the follower and Heather was the one giving orders! "I don't see anyone else coming up with a plan! We just need to get the bombs into a shape that'll make something pretty! Chris did say to keep things creative and controlled."
"Excuse me, Admiral Lindsay her Hotness," Justin tried to butter up Lindsay a bit by referring her to the name she wanted to be called by. "May I take a leave of absence from this challenge, I just can't risk my body being around all that paint. I mean the ink in the animation challenge was bad enough, I can't risk this."
"Permission denied!" Lindsay snapped at Justin, making him flinch. "We need all hands on deck if we're going to win this so be prepared to get dirty pretty boy!"
In a desperate act to get Lindsay to do what he wanted, Justin took off his shirt and showed off his flawless body to Lindsay. "Now Lindsay you can see that I'm not just sporting a six pack," Justin pointed out as he stuck his chest out to Lindsay. "I have a twelve pack~ That's a dozen smoking man dominos~"
SMACK!
But Justin was met with Lindsay picking up his shirt and using it to smack Justin in the face. "Get to work!" Lindsay yelled at him again. "I won't ask again!"
"…T-This can't be happening…" Justin told himself in horror. His good looks weren't working on Lindsay even a little! How could this be happening?! Lindsay used to be so completely taken by him that not even Tyler could release her from his spell! "Have I really lost my lady controlling mojo…"
"Don't worry Senorita Admiral Lindsay her Hotness!" Luckily there was one member of this team who both knew what she was doing and was already hard at work doing so. Izzy! The Psycho Hose beast was giving Lindsay the respect the blond wanted as she began setting the paint bombs up. The only thing that was off was Izzy speaking with a Spanish accent. "Explosivo has got this!"
"That's great!" Lindsay clapped a bit before raising a brow. "Who's Explosivo?"
"Someone who's an expert in all things boom-boom!!!" Izzy answered as she ran up in front of Izzy. "Just watch, he'll make this place blow up like a Mexican Christmas tree! Olay!"
"Shouldn't you do something about this?" Heather asked Ronnie Anne, storming up to the Hispanic female who looked completely disinterested and just continued to stew in her own anger. "Or at least be offended or something?"
"Let crazy girl do what she wants," Ronnie Anne growled at Heather. "As long as we win, I don't care."
"Wanna talk about it?" Geoff asked, putting a hand on Ronnie Anne's shoulder and giving her a look of sympathy. After his conversation with Lincoln earlier, Geoff was now completely on Ronnie Anne's side about things.
"NO!!!" Ronnie Anne shouted as she slapped Geoff's hand away despite the kindness he was showing her. "All I want is to beat the Gaffers into the dirt!!!"
HALF AN HOUR LATER
"Times up everyone!" Chris announced as both teams made their way back behind the protective glass with Chris, Edward, and Lily waiting for them. "Let's see what you came up with, Grips you won the last challenge so you can go first!"
"Explosivo is ready to present senior Chris!" Izzy announced as the Psycho Hose Beast stood in front of the detonator. "Explosivo is loco for boom-boom!"
"Woah!" Chris let out as he looked at the set that Izzy, or Explosivo as she was now calling herself, set up. "Talk about thorough!"
"Should we maybe back up…" Lincoln asked with concern as he and the rest of the Gaffer's backed away even without getting an answer.
"Alright Izzy, show us what you got," Chris gestured for Izzy to set off the explosives.
"Uno…dose…boom-boom!" Izzy then pulled down the detonator…only for nothing to happen.
Everyone covered their eyes and lowered their heads ready to be met with a large explosion only to grow confused over the continuing silence. "…" Chris blinked a few times before looking towards the camera. "Well folks it seems we're experiencing some technical-"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
After a delay the bombs went off, forming a mushroom cloud of a paint explosion. When the dust cleared, all of the Grips, Chris, Lily, and Edward were all covered in paint with their hair blown back with Izzy's painting forming nothing but a formless splatter. Even the glass was destroyed. "Hahahaha!" Izzy laughed after the explosion was all done. "Explosivo is one crazy hombre!"
"Explosive…yes…" Chris admitted as he quickly began glaring at Izzy. "Creative and controlled? NOT SO MUCH!!!"
"WHAT?!" Lily yelled, only hearing bells right now.
"BRBRBRBR?!" Edward repeated.
"Grrr…you little…" Heather growled out towards Izzy.
"Gaffers," Chris then turned to the other team, who managed to get away paint free, with an unamused glare. "I really hope you got something better."
"Maybe," Lincoln shrugged as a smirk came to his face as he walked up to his team's detonator. "I think you'll like this Chris~"
Lincoln then pushed down the detonator and unlike Izzy's bombs, the Gaffer's bombs went off perfectly in a rhythm splattering paint in specific locations. And when all was said and done all the blown up paint formed a very special shape. Chris' face. "My masterpiece~" Lincoln proudly presented the creation purely made to play into Chris' ego.
And Chris was immediately taken by the piece of artwork. "The angles, the eye-catching smile, the perfect hair!" Chris began listing the features of the painting as he started tearing up about it. "It's…beautiful! Gaffers win by a country mile! Right judges?"
"What?!" Lily shouted again while still covering her ears. "I still can't hear anything!"
"Brbbrbr!" Edward yelled out, still only hearing bells as well.
"It's unanimous!" Chris announced as he gestured to Lincoln and his team. "Gaffers win!"
As the Gaffers all cheered their victory, Dawn approached Harold with a raised hand trying to get a high five from him. "C-Come on Harold," Dawn tried to encourage him after seeing how nervous he was. "You all did a really great job…"
"Y-Yeah, thanks." Harold did eventually give her a high five, but flinched as he did so.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"He's still scared but…progress," Dawn tried to give a smile and thumbs up.
After a quick cut, allowing Chris to get cleaned up and look presentable to the camera, the host approached the two teams again with Chef behind him and carrying something. "Gaffers, for winning you are gifted this." Chris announced as Chef put down a red chest in front of them that had two golden angels on top of it. "May I present…the Super Amazing Chest of Super Amazing Secrets."
"…" Everyone was silent for a bit as they looked at the design of the chest.
"Isn't that the Arc of the Covenant?" Harold asked as he pointed to the chest.
"No idea what you're talking about. Copyright can't touch me," Chris immediately dismissed, getting many deadpanned looks sent his way. "Anywho, Gaffers for your second challenge you have an hour to set up a base of operations to protect your chest from the Grips! Protect it and victory is yours! Grips, if you can steal the chest you win. And as a bonus, the winning team can see just what secrets lie inside. But beware, the secrets inside may blow your brain to bits!"
"I need my brain!" Harold told Chris as he raised his hand.
"No worries," Chris nodded as he took out a roll of ducktape. "A roll of tape will be provided for you to put the gray matter back together!"
"Hm, wonder what's inside," Bridgette asked curiously as she approached the chest.
"Maybe it's a fancy cooler or something," Lincoln said with a bit of a joking grin. "Could have a secret soda flavor inside."
"Oh I'd kill for a soda right now," Bridgette laughed and smiled at Lincoln.
"You and me both," Lincoln agreed as the two shared a quick fist bump. All the while Geoff kept his eye on both of them, shooting Lincoln a glare.
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"I gotta talk to Bridgette and get her away from him as soon as possible," Geoff stated, slamming a fist down into an open palm. Knowing Lincoln's true colors now, he couldn't let his girl be around him. "The dude is bad news."
"Gaffers, this is your base camp," Chris then directed the Gaffers to where they would be defending their chest, the Grips being on the opposite side of the set, with a large structure being covered by a sheet. "Our set designers wanted to make you a towering castle filled with defensive possibilities. But, they went to go see a movie instead. So, we're giving you this."
Chef then removed the sheet and everyone was all remarkably unimpressed to see a dirty old shed underneath. "I think it's a tool shed." Chris said only for a slight breeze to blow by and knock it down. "Was a tool shed. Good luck, and hey if Chef is feeling generous maybe you can ask him for some weapons!"
Lincoln and Dawn walked up to the fallen tool shed with the former trying to wrap his head around what they could do. "Ok…so we have to defend a chest and we have the fallen remains of a shed to work with…" Lincoln let out as he rubbed his temples. "This isn't going to be easy…"
"It's alright," Dawn reassured him as she held his hand. While Lincoln was providing her comfort she made sure to do the same. She needed to be there for him just as much as he was for her. "You'll think of something, we all will."
"Yeah…you're right, you're right. Guys, any ideas?" Lincoln asked as he turned around and saw the rest of his team all huddled up together. "Guys? What's up?"
All of them looked towards Lincoln with frowns and after a tense moment of silence, Bridgette was the one to speak up and walked towards Lincoln. "Lincoln…we all discussed this and well…" Bridgette struggled to let it out as she knew Lincoln wasn't gonna like this news. "We…We think Dawn should sit this challenge out."
"…W-What…" Dawn let out as she felt her heart break a bit at that.
"…You're joking right," Lincoln frowned at Bridgette, who looked down and held her arm in response, leading to Lincoln looking at everyone else. "You're all joking right?"
"It's just…after the last challenge…" Harold spoke up next, scratching the back of his head. "And this being a war themed one…it might be for the best…"
"…I…I understand…" Dawn tried to put on a strong face as she turned around and began walking away. "I'll…I'll leave you all to do this…"
But Dawn didn't get far as Lincoln grabbed her arm. "No. No, no, no, no. This is not happening," Lincoln yelled out with an angry look, immediately shutting this down. "That is it. Team meeting. Right here. Right NOW! EVERYONE LINE UP!!!"
Everyone was taken aback by this. They've seen Lincoln get like this but…it was never aimed at them. "But we're in a-" Jasmine tried to say but was cut off.
"I SAID NOW!!!" Lincoln snapped, getting everyone on the team to flinch as they did what he said. Taking a deep breath, Lincoln looked to everyone and tried to talk in a calmer voice. "Look…I get it ok. I get after the last challenge you all might be frightened a bit. But Dawn realized she went too far, she let her anger take over and she did something she regretted immediately. But, I want you all to look me in the eye and tell me any of you haven't let your anger get the better of you and lead you to do something bad."
At hearing this, everyone couldn't help but look down a bit as guilt started eating them, Lincoln was right. They all had at least a few moments of their temper getting the better of them. Even the likes of DJ and Bridgette weren't innocent. "Lincoln, stop," Dawn gently told Lincoln. "You don't have to-"
"Yes Dawn, I do," Lincoln told her firmly. He understood her wanting to take things slowly now, but at this point it was time for more action to be taken. "And hey you know what, I'm no better. If I had a nickel for every time I blew up on one of my sisters I wouldn't need to be on this stinking show."
That got a good chuckle from everyone, making Lincoln smile. "And are we just gonna forget all the good Dawn's done in the past," Lincoln said as he began gesturing to his teammates one by one. "DJ, when Bunny got sick at Playa Des Losers, who was it that helped you get him back to being healthy again?"
"…Dawn," DJ said, smiling a bit at the memory.
"Jasmine," Lincoln pointed to the team's Amazon. "Who was the first person here to want to befriend you?"
"Heh, Dawn was," Jasmine couldn't help but smile nostalgically. Feels like it's been longer than it actually has been since she's been on this show. "Shelia just had a magnetic personality."
"Harold," Lincoln then pointed to his fellow nerd. "Who always had faith in your ability to succeed even when others didn't? Like during the talent show,"
"It was Dawn," Harold happily admitted. "She was one of the few who recognized my mad skills."
"And Bridgette," Lincoln finally pointed to the surfer girl. "You and Dawn really connected a lot on the island. You became really good friends. Like we did, right?"
"Yeah…Yeah we did," Bridgette nodded and smiled fondly.
"So she screwed last time, we'll both fully admit to that," Lincoln said with Dawn nodding in agreement. "But are we really gonna let one mistake wash away all the other good things she's done?"
"…You know what guys, he's right," DJ was the first one to speak up, having taken Lincoln's words to heart. "Ronnie Anne has been a menace. You can't blame the girl for acting out."
"You're right DJ," Bridgette nodded in agreement, giving Dawn a friendly look that the nature lover missed so much. "She's been a jerk since day one. She's certainly driving me to my wits end."
"Guess I can't lie," Jasmine sheepishly admitted as she scratched the back of her head. "If it wasn't Dawn, it was probably gonna be me hehe,"
"So for the love of God, give her a break?" Lincoln asked everyone with a pleading look. "Please?"
"…You're right. We're sorry Dawn." Harold looked Dawn in the eye as he apologized. "We shouldn't have acted that way with you. We're a team."
"It's alright Harold," Dawn reassured him and everyone else. The weight on Dawn's heart was lifted as she gave them a grateful look. "To make it up, I think I know how we can win this."
"Well then we're all ears Dawn!" DJ said with everyone else nodding in unison.
"I'm telling you we need to plan a strategy!"
"And I'm telling you, you aren't the boss of us, you blond bimbo!"
Once again Lindsay and Heather were at each other's throats over what to do. Again Lindsay was trying to take control of the situation with Heather refusing to even hear about any ideas that involve doing what Lindsay tells them to do. "You know how creative Lincoln and Harold can be!" Lindsay informed them as she pointed down the hill where Chef led them to. "They probably have something set up down there waiting for us!"
"Except their teamwork is in shambles!" Heather pointed out, stomping her foot on the ground in an act to try and get Lindsay to back down. "You saw how they were with Dawn! It'll completely throw them off their game!"
"But they won the first challenge!" Lindsay pointed out, clearly not backing away anytime soon. "We can't underestimate them!"
"Ladies, ladies, calm down," Justin told the two of them, the handsome teen laying down in a hammock he set up. It was clear Justin wasn't planning on putting any sort of effort into helping the team. "If you keep stressing out like that it's gonna turn your hair white."
"…" Lindsay and Heather went silent as they briefly ceased their argument to stare at Justin.
"Heh, wonder if that's how snowball-AH!" Justin then found himself being pushed off his hammock by an angry Lindsay and Heather. "Hey!"
"I can't believe I ever thought you were cute!" Lindsay yelled angrily at Justin, making him gasp in disbelief.
CONFESSIONAL – Justin
"This…This can't be happening right?" Justin began panicking now, a look of disbelief on his face. "Girls adore me. Everyone should adore me!!!"
CONFESSIONAL – Heather & Ronnie Anne
"Why'd you drag me in here again?" Ronnie Anne asked Heather in an irritated tone.
"Two reasons," Heather told the Hispanic teen as she held up two fingers. "One, you need to get your head back in the game! Two, Justin's losing his usefulness. It's time to ditch him."
"I have noticed his charms are failing," Ronnie Anne nodded, remembering some times where Justin tried to charm the girls only to fall flat. It's clear his good looks aren't as good as they used to be.
"So we're in agreement?" Heather asked with a raised brow.
"Next time we lose, he's out," Ronnie Anne agreed with the two shaking their hands.
With Lincoln, while everyone was getting the final touches of everything together with their base, Lincoln had decided to take his chance and approach Chef and ask him if he had anything his team could use. "Hey Chef," Lincoln greeted the buff cook, getting his attention. "So Chris said we can ask you if we need anything?"
"Depends," Chef shrugged, willing to hear Lincoln out. "What're you looking for?"
"Do you have any…barbed wire?" Lincoln asked.
"Nope." Chef shook his head.
"Do you have any…land minds?" Lincoln asked.
"Nope." Chef shook his head.
"Do you have any…swat team shields?" Lincoln asked.
"Nope." Chef shook his head.
"Do you have any…itching powder bombs?" Lincoln asked.
"Nope." Chef shook his head.
"Do you have any...weapons of mass destruction?" Lincoln asked.
At this, Chef quickly looked around before whispering to Lincoln. "Who's asking?"
"…Um…me?" Lincoln said a bit cautiously.
"Well, I suppose I got one thing I can share with you," Chef said after thinking about it a bit. "I got myself a top of the line tear gas grenade launcher!"
"Tear gas grenades?!" Lincoln's eyes widened as Chef reached into his pocket and pulled out said device to Lincoln…who deadpanned after examining it a bit. "This is a salad launcher filled with onions."
"Oh but it works," Chef reassured Lincoln. "Trust me,"
"Well I guess I'll take what I can get," Lincoln shrugged before walking away with the 'tear gas grenade launcher' and just hoped it would help them in some way.
"Enough everyone!" Ronnie Anne stomped her foot, taking charge of the situation for the first time today as she glared at everyone. "Here's what we're gonna do, we're gonna charge down there and take them all out, and steal the trunk before they know what hit them! We hit fast, hit hard, and show no mercy!!!"
"Heck yeah! Let's do it dudes!" Geoff cheered, happy that Ronnie Anne was taking charge of the team. Raising his fist, Geoff began running down the hill yelling at the top of his lungs. "GEOFF WILSON!!!"
"…Should we charge too?" Izzy asked with a clueless smile.
"Yes! Charge!" Ronnie Anne yelled out as she and everyone else began charging down the hill, leaving Lindsay behind.
"Aw…I would have made a great admiral..." Lindsay let out dejectedly as she tossed away her hat and jacket now that Ronnie Anne was back to taking charge.
At the Gaffer base, they really managed to set up a decent base. Using the wood of the destroyed shed they build a protective wall around the trunk with Jasmine being the one guarding it. Using the fake trees that were around they managed to use them to create barriers where Dawn, Lincoln, and Bridgette were station, and in the front was Harold wielding his mighty num-yo, nun-chucks made using two yo-yo's, and DJ who was gonna use his natural might to block everyone. Plus they had some surprises set around various places.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" The Gaffers all perked up as they heard the sounds of screams charging down the hill and coming right at them.
"Enemy approaching sir!" DJ yelled out, glancing at Lincoln.
"Defend the trunk with your life!" Lincoln ordered out with everyone giving a 'yes sir' as they prepared for the Grip's assault.
"Quick!" Heather shouted as she and the Grips approached. "Get the weakest link first!"
"After Harold!" Justin shouted out as he, Heather, and Ronnie Anne charged at Harold.
"SQUIRREL TACTICS!" Harold yelled as he got on one hand and both legs. As the three went after him, Harold managed to scurry around them and completely out flanked the three Grips. All the while he was dodging them he swung his num-yo around and managed to strike all of them while getting away as the three ran into each other face first in their attempts to grab him. "Haha! Never doubt my mad skills!"
"Grrrr…" Ronnie Anne growled as she managed to stand herself up only to hear giggling. Turning and glaring at the source, Ronnie Anne saw Bridgette smirking at her. "Oh just wait, surfer girl! You're going down!" Ronnie Anne tried to charge at Bridgette only to trip on something on the ground.
"And you're going up~" Bridgette told the Hispanic teen before pulling out a pocket knife from her hoodie pocket, gotten from Jasmine of course, and cut a rope that was attached to her barricade.
"Huh?" Ronnie Anne's eyes widened as she saw what exactly she tripped on. A circle of rope attached to a bent down tree. "Oh you gotta be kidding-AH!" And Ronnie Anne was powerless as the trap activated, tying around her leg and yanking her up to be flung away with the aid of a tree.
"Raaaaaahhh!!!" Geoff charged, narrowing his eyes at Lincoln. He was determined to make sure the white head was gonna go down and he took it upon himself to do it. "Coming for you dude!!!"
"Oh boy…hope this works," Lincoln saw Geoff charging right at him and brought up the salad launcher Chef gave him, aiming it at Geoff. Pulling the trigger, Lincoln fired it and rather than making Geoff cry like tear gas would…an onion was shot right at the party dude's head knocking him out. "Huh…I guess chucking an onion at someone's head is as good a war tactic as any."
"AYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!" But jumping right on top of his and Dawn's barricade was an opponent that wouldn't go down nearly as easily. Izzy. "Explosivo is craving more blood! Boom-Boom!"
"Hey Izzy!" But Dawn was quick on her feet as she reached for something in her pocket and pointed in a random direction. "What's that?"
"What's what?" Luckily Izzy, being Izzy, fell for it and looked in the direction Dawn pointed too. Allowing for Dawn to slip a necklace with a crystal on it around Izzy's neck. And all of a sudden Izzy looked completely relaxed and began wobbling around. "Wooooah…I can totally see colors hehe…"
And the psycho hose beast fell flat on her face.
"Ugh, is that all you got?!" Heather yelled out as she stood up, only to find a pair of arms wrapping around her. "What the-hey! Let me go!"
"Sorry about this!" DJ told Heather. While Heather may be mean as a snake DJ didn't want to risk hurting her. "Just gotta make sure you're restrained."
"Ugh! You won't get away with this!" Heather yelled out before DJ brought her over to Harold. Using some rope they got from the remains of the shed, Harold tied Heather up and left her under the tree Ronnie Anne was still hanging from by her foot and where Geoff, Izzy, and Lindsay were all tied up. "What the-When did they get you Lindsay?!"
"Harold ambushed me after he got away from all of you…" Lindsay admitted as she lowered her head in shame. "I didn't even get to make a battle cry."
"Come on…Come on…" That only left one free Grip. Justin tried to use the chaos of fighting to army crawl towards where the chest was being kept, slipping by everyone. "I can make it, I can make it!"
And a strong foot stomped in front of Justin's face. "I don't think ya will mate," Jasmine glared down at Justin as the handsome teen flinched and immediately began to back away as Jasmine made a 'come on' gesture with both of her hands. "Go ahead…take it from me."
"C-Come on Jasmine, can't we talk this out?" Despite his charms not working on Lindsay and Izzy earlier, he knew his good looks have managed to consistently work on Jasmine. So, taking his shirt off and batting his eyes at her, the teen model attempted to swoon her. "Maybe…over dinner~?"
But unlike all the times before, Jasmine was not swayed.
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"Justin's kind of like chocolate. If you have it every once in a while, it's great!" Jasmine explained her reasons for no longer being attracted to Jasmine. "But if you have it everyday…you just grow sick of it!"
"AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Justin screamed as Jasmine picked him up and chucked him to where they were restraining the rest of the Grips, effectively capturing all of them.
"And that's the game!" Chris announced as he walked up to the set after all the Grips were completely neutralized. "The Grip army has fallen, the Gaffer army wins! Grips, I'll see you at the Gilded Chris ceremony tonight!"
"Aaawww…" All the Grips let out over their broken losing streak.
And as the Gaffer's were all cheering, all of them proceeded to pick up Dawn and throw her up and down into the air. "Dawn! Dawn! Dawn!" All the Gaffers cheered as Dawn cheered up, knowing without a doubt she was back within good graces in her team again.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"Thank you great mother earth…" Dawn whispered, shedding a single happy tear.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"Well that's just great!" Heather let out in irritation as she pounded her fist on the vanity. "We had a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the fact that they were all afraid of Dawn and now it's wasted! It'll take a miracle to get us back to winning now!"
"And Gaffers…" Chris began as Chef got the chest out of its protective barrier and pushed it over to the team. "As promised the confines of the Super Amazing Chest of Super Amazing Secrets is all yours!"
All the Gaffers smiled eagerly and opened up the chest…only to see what exactly it contained.
"All this madness!" Lincoln cried out.
"All these tears!" Harold added on.
"All the pain and suffering!" DJ wailed as he lowered his head.
"All of this for what?!" Jasmine screamed out in sadness.
"An empty chest!" Bridgette yelled out what the chest truly contained.
"The madness of war…" Dawn let out before they all screamed to the heavens.
"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHY!?!?!?"
LATER THAT DAY
Justin was nervous as he met up with Ronnie Anne and Heather at the usual meeting spot. He wasn't exactly…helpful today and his main ability of controlling the females of the show…it was just gone. So he wasn't sure how they were gonna react to all that once they were in private. "Well, you certainly took your time getting here," Ronnie Anne began, making Justin flinch. "What took ya?"
"Oh uh, just…guy stuff ya know, nothing worth getting into," Justin nervously began, scratching the back of his head and giving both females a sheepish smile as Heather and Ronnie Anne glanced at each other. "So look I know today was…rough but-"
"Hey, hey, it's ok," Ronnie Anne reassured Justin, much to his surprise, with a calm voice. Acting nothing like how she's been the last few days. "We all have off days."
"Yeah, besides me and Ronnie Anne already agreed to vote Lindsay off today," Heather explained to him simply, allowing the teen model to breathe a sigh of relief. "Sounds good?"
"Yes! Yes! Perfect!" Justin was eager to nod and agree to that. As long as it wasn't him on the chopping block he'd agree to vote anyone off. "Sounds good! Looking forward to it!"
And as Justin left, feeling pretty good about himself, Ronnie Anne and Heather shared sly smirks with each other.
THE GILDED CHRIS CEREMONY
The iconic music and lights around the lot played as the Gilded Chris Ceremony began with the Gaffers again all wearing their fancy clothes and were in the VIP seats with the Grips all in the loser podiums as Chris came up to the stand. "This one's a nail biter! I'd say no ones safe tonight!" Chris stated before listing off all the reasons why someone would be sent home. "Lindsay, Heather, you two spent more time arguing than actually doing anything useful."
"I was trying to help!" Lindsay yelled out before pointing at Heather who merely blew a raspberry at Lindsay. "She was the one who didn't do anything useful!"
"Justin, oh how the hot do fall, looks like no ones buying your pretty boy act anymore," Chris chuckled as Justin glared at the host before Chris shifted his attention to Ronnie Anne. "And Ronnie Anne you were pretty useless today too, spending most of the day just being angry rather than leading your team."
"Tch," Ronnie Anne wasn't gonna dignify Chris with a proper response.
"And Geoff…you got taken out by a vegetable dude. Haha, imagine telling that war story to the grand kids." Geoff looked down in embarrassment before glaring over at Lincoln. "And finally Izzy, once again you kind of screwed the pooch big time during the first challenge, really showing yourself to be a real hit or miss when it comes to doing your team well."
"Hey don't blame me, blame Explosivo!" Izzy stated with a giggle. "Ya think I can control him? He's totally loco! Haha!"
Once everyone casted their votes, Chef walked up to Chris and handed him the results and tray of five Gilded Chris awards. "Remember, if you don't get a Gilded Chris you're out of the game for good!" Chris gave everyone the usual reminder before he started handing out statues. "Geoff, Ronnie Anne, you're both safe!"
"Righteous!" Geoff grinned as he and Ronnie Anne caught their awards.
"Heather, Izzy, you both are safe too," Chris threw two more awards at the mentioned contestants.
"All according to plan," Heather whispered with a smirk.
With one statue left, Lindsay tensed up nervously while Justin looked confident. "Only one Gilded Chris left. And it goes to…" Lindsay sweated nervously a little while Justin smirked, ready to catch his when Chris called his name. "…Lindsay!"
"Yay!" Lindsay let out in relief as she caught her statue.
But Justin found his jaw dropping in response. But…how was that possible?! "W-What?!" Justin shouted as he stood up from his seat. How could this be?! Heather and Ronnie Anne said that Lindsay would be on the chopping block! "I thought…we agreed…this can't…"
"Can't what Justin~" Ronnie Anne asked with a smirk.
"Surely you saw this coming~?" Heather followed up as she let out an evil chuckle.
"…" And it all came to Justin. They tricked him…they set him up by trying to reassure him. Glaring heatedly at them, Justin began storming off. "Fine…Fine I see how it is! But now you both made a huge mistake! You're gonna regret this!"
"I doubt that," Heather and Ronnie Anne laughed as Justin entered the Lamosine in a huff before driving away forever.
"And just like that we lost the second most handsome guy here, but luckily for all you at home you can still enjoy number one!" Chris said as he grinned at the camera while pointing to himself. "How will Ronnie Anne and Heather fair now that they are down an ally? Can the Grips come back after this loss with such a dysfunctional team? Find out all this and more next time on Total. Drama. Action!"
LATER
"Bridgette!" Bridgette stopped walking as she heard her boyfriend call out to her. She was about to get ready to crash for the night, but she could make some time for her boyfriend. Especially since it seemed that he was desperate to talk to her. "Babe, I need to talk to you!"
"Woah, where's the fire Geoff?" Bridgette asked as she urged Geoff to calm down before speaking up. "What's going on? What do you need to talk about?"
"You need to listen to me. You can't trust Lincoln," Geoff immediately told Bridgette, making her eyes widen. "The dude's bad news."
"E-Excuse me?" Bridgette seemed to take offense to this as she narrowed her eyes at Geoff a bit. "Geoff, if this is a joke it's not funny. How could you even say that?"
"What do you mean how?" Geoff asked this like the answer should be the most obvious thing ever. "His GF pummeled Ronnie Anne into the ground and didn't get upset at Dawn or apologized to Ronnie Anne, you saw how her face was still messed up!"
"Well she kind of had it coming," Bridgette stated without a second thought.
"What-Babe-" Geoff couldn't believe what he heard coming out of his girlfriend's mouth. But before he could say anything Bridgette spoke up again.
"Look, Dawn did go too far. I won't argue with that," Bridgette explained to Geoff, agreeing with that at least. "But everyone lets their anger go to their head now and then. Plus Ronnie Anne's been a jerk all season long!"
"She's been going through a rough time too Bridge," Geoff tried to make an excuse for Ronnie Anne's behavior. "I mean going to a show with your ex. She's pretty messed up emotionally."
"There are healthier ways of dealing with that than being a jerk and lashing out all the time," Bridgette pointed out, shaking her head in disbelief. She couldn't believe Geoff was actually defending Ronnie Anne about her nastiness. "Remember the first few challenges? She was a jerk to you even after you won the beach challenge because it was a reward challenge."
"Still though," Geoff was still keen on defending Ronnie Anne even after Bridgette pointed out all that. "Wouldn't hurt to cut her some slack."
All Bridgette could do was sigh and rub her temple. "Look, I don't want to argue about this anymore," Bridgette said, wanting to pull the plug on things before they started yelling at each other. She did not wanna do that this late, especially since she was tired after the challenge. "Lincoln's one of my friends, I know he's trustworthy."
Geoff looked down a bit in thought before sighing and nodding. "Alright babe…" Geoff said as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I trust you,"
"Thank you," Bridgette gave Geoff a small smile at this before kissing him on the cheek. "Have a good night."
"Good night Bridge," But when Bridgette walked away, Geoff pulled his hands out of his pocket…revealing his fingers were crossed.
