"Last time on Total Drama Action," Chris began the recap while wearing a ski mask and trying to break into a safe. "We learned that war movies are brutal. Many of our contestants were still feeling the effects of the last challenge with Ronnie Anne brooding the entire time with her face still black and blue, and the Gaffers were now rather wary of the usual not-so-peace loving hippy Dawn. Our first challenge left our contestants flying high, and then we learned the creative and destructive painting potential of both teams. The Gaffers were left to protect a top secret case, but it seems most of the team thought Dawn should sit things out. That was enough to leave Lincoln to snap at his team and remind them of all the good Dawn's done for them to get the Gaffers back on Dawn's side. Meanwhile the Grips were the most dysfunctional army ever as they unleashed a completely ineffective strategy of 'attack like idiots' which would have gone well had the Gaffers been an incompetent team. But since they weren't, the Gaffers easily won! But after all the hardships of war and the devastating secret they learned about what the chest contained, can they really say they won? But over the course of the challenge, lady killer Justin was less of a lady killer, and more so was asking to be killed by ladies as his usual charms failed each time, leading to Heather and Ronnie Anne to drop him and turn the Trinity of Evil into the Duo of Terror. Who will fall next? Will Heather and Ronnie Anne's now two person alliance last? And-"
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Chris flinched as while he was trying to crack the safe, an alarm began going off as red lights flashed all around. "And who will possibly go to jail after failing to crack a safe? Find out all this and more right now and Total. Drama. Action!" And once the opening was finished Chris immediately booked it as fast as he could. "Start the car Chef!!!"
"Ten more seconds!" Lincoln announced to his team with a grin. It was another morning at the Crafts Service Tent and so far no random interruptions from Chris so the Gaffers decided to use the time to have a little bit of fun before whatever challenge today would start. They all grabbed left overs from their breakfast and Lincoln thought of a game they could play. "Biggest burrito wins!"
The other five Gaffers quickly sped up their work to put the final touches on their burritos. Meanwhile while they were playing the Grips were simply sitting at their tables watching. While Lindsay and Izzy were watching with entertained looks, both wishing they could participate, the other Grips were glaring at the other team. Ronnie Anne and Heather were a given, annoyed at the other team for having beaten them last time as well as the fact they were having fun right in front of them. But Geoff was also glaring, specifically glaring at Lincoln. Ever since the war challenge, Geoff has grown a strong dislike for Lincoln, Ronnie Anne really having gotten in the party dude's head and having him believing that Lincoln was really a bad guy that was trying to steal Bridgette from him.
"What are you losers even doing?" Heather questioned, cringing at everyone forming what could only be described as bean sculptures. "Playing with your food like a couple four-year-olds?"
"It's called having fun, not that I'd expect you to understand that," Lincoln simply smirked and shrugged at Heather's words, getting some nasty looks in response not that Lincoln particularly cared. His team was in good spirits again and they were gonna enjoy it while they could, so Lincoln wasn't about to let the other team ruin this for them. "We're just enjoying ourselves, feel free to join in if you want. Or just keep being a buzzkill like usual."
"Tch, jerk…" Geoff muttered as he glared at Lincoln.
"Ooooo, can I play?" Lindsay asked as she raised her hand.
"I wanna play too!" Izzy eagerly asked as she raised her hand as well. "I had this idea for a Trojan taco last challenge but I never got to pitch it!"
"Sure I don't mind, but let us finish this round first," Lincoln told the two Grip girls before looking at the rest of his team. "Ok guys times up, let's see what you got."
"I'll go first," Dawn rose her hand before pushing her plate forward, showcasing a burrito that was in the shape of a tree. "I call it, the Great Bean Mother! Hehe,"
"Not bad Dawn, impressive how the shape holds up," Lincoln nodded at his girlfriend, impressed by her display. And the burrito as well. "Bridgette, what do you got?"
"Eeeeeeh…" Bridgette let out sheepishly before pushing her plate forward and showing off…bean mush. "I…couldn't figure out how to get it to keep its shape."
"Hey, no worries. You gave it a good try," Lincoln reassured Bridgette with the rest of the team also letting her know it wasn't a big deal, lifting up the surfer girl's spirits. "DJ? What have you got my brother?"
"Check it," DJ grinned as he showed off his own large burrito, one that had multiple wraps on it and was stuffed to the complete and utter brim. "It's called the Momma Supreme! One of her favorites to make during Mexican night back home."
"Nice, well Momma DJ certainly knows how to make a big burrito," Lincoln gave DJ a thumbs up with the brickhouse raising his head in pride. Pride for his momma. "Jasmine, let's see what you got."
"Check it out mate," Jasmine grinned as she showed off a burrito she made to look like a crocodile. "I call it the crocoritto!"
"Impressive! Not quite as big as the Momma Supreme but big points for creativity!" Lincoln complimented the Australian Amazon with Jasmine grinning in response. "Alright Harold, finish us up with a bang,"
"Behold…the Luscious Leshawna," Harold then showed off his burrito. It was huge, even surpassing the mighty Momma Supreme and was shaped to resemble a certain girl with a kick butt attitude that had stolen Harold's heart. "I dedicate this burrito to the most amazing girl on the planet,"
"Aaaaawww," Lindsay and Izzy let out in unison.
"Well Harold, I'm sure she'll be very flattered by this…probably," Lincoln muttered that last part to himself before shaking his head and gesturing towards Harold. "But hey, your burrito is certainly the biggest so the winner goes to Harold!"
Harold raised his chin with pride and victory as the rest of the Gaffers, as well as Lindsay and Izzy, all clapped for Harold's victory. "Ugh, this is ridiculous," Ronnie Anne said with a groan, though everyone from the Gaffers merely ignored her, refusing to let the Latina ruin their fun. "With any luck them being idiots like this will hopefully make them mess up in the challenge today."
"It's always nice when Chris takes his time before challenges start, always gives us some time to hang and chill." Lincoln said as he and DJ collected everyone's burritos, DJ suggesting they put them in the kitchen fridge to eat for later. Can't let food go to waste after all. "What should we do next since we have the time?"
"Why don't we do a smoothie challenge?" Harold suggested with a grin. "I saw a blender in the kitchen, could try and make the tastiest smoothie."
"I know where a bunch of smoothie ingredients are in the fridge," DJ told everyone while gesturing for Lincoln to follow him. "Lincoln, come help me get em."
"You got it man," Lincoln nodded and followed DJ in the kitchen area.
"Can we join in this one?" Lindsay asked as she and Izzy sat down at the Gaffer table, not having any issues with ditching their team. "I love smoothies!"
"You gals can take my spot," Jasmine kindly offered them as she stood up and stretched out a little. "I'm gonna sit this one out. Gotta check my tent, noticed it was struggling to hold up today, looks like it's finally gotten loose so gotta re-secure everything."
As Jasmine left the Crafts Service Tent and was about to head back to the trailers to work on her tent…
PIERCE!
"AH!" Jasmine let out as a tranq dart was shot at her, hitting her right at the shoulder. Jasmine fell to her knees, appearing to have fallen to the dart. But gritting her teeth, Jasmine managed to shakily stand herself back up and began glaring and looking around, trying to find out who had the absolute balls to shoot at her. "Hah! I don't know who you think you are but it'll take more than one dart to take me down!"
PIERCE!
PIERCE!
She was promptly shot two more times.
"OW! Oh…yep…that'll do it…" And with that, Jasmine fell to the ground unconscious. A couple of shadowy figures then came by, stuffed Jasmine into a large burlap sack, and quickly ran off before anyone could see them.
Back in the Crafts Service tent in the kitchen area, DJ and Lincoln were collecting various stuff that would make good smoothie ingredients for their next game. "I gotta tell you DJ, it's really nice we can all just chill and relax like this." Lincoln told the brickhouse before giving him a grateful smile. "Thank you so much again for forgiving Dawn for what she did, all of you. I really, really appreciate it."
"Hey it's no problem man." DJ reassured Lincoln as he ruffled the white head's hair a little bit. "We Screaming Gaffers gotta stick together, besides the girl's still our friend. We couldn't be upset with her forever,"
"Still, it was just something I had to say." Lincoln told DJ with a friendly smirk. Then for a second Lincoln took the time to look over DJ. While physically DJ was the same, there was still something…different about him. The Momma's boy just had a different vibe to him. It wasn't a bad thing, in fact DJ looked…stronger? Tougher? Lincoln couldn't put his finger on it but it was a good thing. "You know DJ, you really have been doing well lately. Can't say what it is, but you've just been looking really good lately. It's nice to see."
"Oh, you think so?" DJ asked, feeling rather flattered with Lincoln's words as he scratched the back of his head. Looks like Chef's lessons really have been helping, he's certainly been feeling good about himself lately and it looks like the rest of his team can see it too. "Well gee thanks Lincoln, I've just been trying to help with the challenges ya know?"
"Well hey, you've certainly been doing a good job," Lincoln again complimented DJ as he took a cup and got himself a quick drink of water. As DJ was drinking, Lincoln couldn't help but smirk as he brought something up. "Sooooo…when are you gonna make a move on Jasmine dude?"
"PFFFFFFT!!!" Immediately DJ did a spit take and started coughing up a storm with Lincoln only chuckling in amusement. In between his coughs, DJ managed to look at Lincoln and speak up again. "W-What?"
"On Jasmine," Lincoln repeated, causing DJ to start blushing. "Come on, we all know you have a thing for her,"
"N-No I don't!" DJ tried to deny, but the smirk on Lincoln's face showed there would be no denying it to him leaving DJ to sigh. "…Ok…maybe I do think she's pretty cool…"
"Go on~" Lincoln encouraged.
"I guess…I don't know." DJ scratched the back of his head and shrugged, trying to find the words to explain his feelings about Jasmine to Lincoln. "I never really felt this way about anyone else before. I mean sure I thought plenty of other girls are pretty but…something about Jasmine's just different ya know?"
"Then why don't you go for her man?" Lincoln encouraged as he walked up to DJ and gave his friend an encouraging pat on the back. "DJ you're one of the sweetest guys I know. Strong and sensitive, caring and protective, you're just about every girl's dream guy. I know for a fact if you asked Jasmine out she'd say yes."
"…Ya know what, you're right," Hearing Lincoln's encouraging words gave DJ the confidence to act on this. He did like Jasmine and he was confident that Jasmine did like him, he thought they got along pretty well. And well…you miss every shot you don't take. "You only live once and ya gotta make the most of it!"
"Yeah! That's the spirit man!" Lincoln grinned and nodded his head.
CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln
"DJ helped me out last season with my feelings for Dawn," Lincoln reminisced on the times where DJ helped him when he was hopelessly crushing on Dawn. DJ was a big reason the two managed to get together in the first place. "So it's only fair I help him too."
"Alright let's do it," Lincoln then looked outside towards the dining area of the tent only to see a lack of Australian Amazons. "Huh, where is she?"
"Think I overheard her saying she was gonna check on her tent?" DJ tried to remember what he overheard Jasmine telling Izzy and Lindsay. "No worries, I'll talk to her when she gets back. Let's just get everything else together for now."
Currently in the dining part of the Crafts Service Tent the Gaffers, along with Izzy and Lindsay, were merely passing the time talking to each other while waiting for Lincoln and DJ to return with everything they would need to throw their own smoothie challenge. With Bridgette the surfer girl was relaxing as she stretched her arms out a bit. "Psst! Psst!" Bridgette blinked a few times before turning around and seeing Geoff trying to get her attention. "Hey Bridge, can I talk to you outside for a moment?"
"Oh, uh, sure Geoff," Bridgette shrugged before standing up and following Geoff outside. Over the last few days things between Geoff and Bridgette had been…awkward. Ever since Geoff tried to convince Bridgette that Lincoln wasn't a good guy the surfer girl wasn't exactly happy with him. She didn't want to stay upset with Geoff but hearing him talk about her closest friend like that, well it hurt her a little bit. So the two had been a bit distant lately. But she was willing to hear him out about what he had to say, especially if he was finally apologizing. "So what's up?"
"Well…" Geoff began rather nervously before looking around to make sure no one was listening in on them, specifically anyone from the Gaffers. "I just wanted to see if you thought about what I said about Lincoln the other day."
"What you said-Geoff!" And Bridgette's mood immediately became sour again when Geoff brought that whole thing up again. So much for an apology, instead he was still on that ridiculous idea again. She just couldn't stand it or even believe that her boyfriend would think about Lincoln like that. "You seriously can't still be trying to convince me that Lincoln's a bad guy!"
"But I'm telling the truth babe!" Geoff continued to insist, further angering Bridgette. Just how much bull crap did Ronnie Anne put in his head? "The dude isn't what he seems!"
"First of all, I'm positive everything Ronnie Anne is saying about him is nothing but a load of bullcrap!" Bridgette aggressively told Geoff. Geoff opened up his mouth, attempting to argue about that but he didn't get the chance as Bridgette spoke up again. "Secondly, Lincoln has been nothing but kind to me and everyone else on our team as well as our old team which you were a part of and should know very well! And three, you said you trusted me when I said I could handle myself but this clearly proves you don't trust me!"
"I'm just trying to look out for you babe!" Geoff insisted, holding his hands up and trying to quell Bridgette's anger. He just wanted to keep Bridgette safe when it was clear that Lincoln was trying to steal her away from him. "You don't understand he-"
"No Geoff, it's clear you don't understand." Bridgette told Geoff, harshly poking him in the chest and making him wince. Before the party dude could do anything in response Bridgette began storming away from him. "I'm not gonna stand here and listen to you just berate my best friend like this, when you get your head on straight you can come talk to me again."
And all Geoff could do was watch Bridgette go back inside the tent. "Ugh!" Geoff let out in frustration as he kicked the ground.
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Why can't she see it?!" Geoff shouted out, frustrated beyond belief. Not only is Lincoln still putting the moves on her, but Bridgette refuses to listen to reason even when it's super obvious! "Lincoln's not the nice guy he's convinced everyone he is! I gotta do something to get her away from him before it's too late!"
PIERCE!
"Ow!" Geoff let out as a tranquilizer dart was shot into his neck. "That's a wicked…mosquito…bite…" And with that Geoff fell unconscious, face planting on the vanity. Soon after a pair of hands scooped up Geoff into a burlap sack and carried him away.
RIP! RIP! RIP!
Just as Lincoln and DJ came back out with various smoothie ingredients as well as the blender, both teams looked up to see a square hole being cut into the tent with Chris being lowered into the tent by a rope. "Woah, nice entrance," Lincoln had to admit, despite the fact that Chris being here kind of ruined their fun.
"Consider it a hint to this week's movie genre!" Chris told everyone with his usual grin on his face.
"Is it rock climbing wanna-be host movies?" Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes, her tone leaking with sarcasm.
"Nooooo," Chris gave her a brief glare before grinning again as he began explaining things properly. "Today we'll be paying tribute to the action packed bank heist gangster capper film."
"Hey wait a minute Chris we can't start yet," DJ said as he pointed out their missing teammate. "Jasmine is still gone."
"I haven't seen Geoff in a while either," Lindsay said, making Bridgette scoff in response.
"Geoff and Jasmine are gone people." Chris informed everyone, making many eyes widened in response. "Because rescuing them is the first part of your challenge."
"Wait, you actually kidnapped two people?" Ronnie Anne asked, slightly alarmed about that.
"I prefer the term, relocate," Chris chuckled a little, making many of the contestants deadpan at him. "They've both been locked up in state of the art safes along with all the tools you'll need to pull off the movie perfect robbery. Your job is to crack the safe, rescue your teammates, and grab the equipment, and try to be the first ones to rob the national bank of Chris! Hope you're ready to become criminals people!"
"Oh I'm way ahead of you on that haha!" Izzy laughed.
"Good for you Izzy," Chris gave Izzy a condescending pat on the head before tugging on the rope he was lowered down by. "Good luck people, hopefully the next time I see you won't be at the police interviews!"
And with that Chris left, leaving both teams by themselves. After a few seconds of awkward silence both teams looked at each other before quickly bolting it, trying to be the first to reach the safes where their teammates were.
"Uuuuugh…" Geoff let out as he slowly woke up. The party dude's vision was blurry as he woke up…somewhere unfamiliar. The first thing Geoff did was try and remember how he got here. The last thing he remembered was his argument with Bridgette, then going into the confessional to rant, and then something painful stung him in the neck and then it all went black. "Man…what happened…how'd I get here?"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!"
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
"Woah!" That thankfully provided enough of a shock for Geoff to fully wake him up as his vision cleared up. Looking around Geoff saw he was inside of some vault. Raising a brow, Geoff looked around for any clues and eventually found a note on the table he was sleeping on and looked over it. "Dear unfortunate Killer Grip member we decided to kid-I mean, relocate. Right now you are part of a bank heist challenge. You are to sit and wait in the vault for your teammates to come and rescue you as well as grab the bag of tools. So you can just chill out for now. Sincerely the host with the most, Chris McLean."
Looking at the ground Geoff found the bag the note mentioned, a duffle bag that once Geoff picked up he found had a decent amount of weight to do. "Oh not cool dude! You can't just up and nab a bro!" Geoff let out angrily before sighing. No use in being upset, can't exactly do much right now. At least there was a vent in here so he wouldn't run out of air. "Maybe while I'm here I can try and think of a way to get Bridge away from Lincoln!"
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
"SOMEONE HELP!!!! I CAN'T BREATHE IN HERE!!! LET ME OUT!!!"
"Wait a second…" Geoff quickly recognized those screams of terror and put his head against the wall the noise was coming from. "Jasmine is that you?!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
"Yep…that's you alright…" Geoff winced as he backed away from the wall and covered his ears. He never realized that Jasmine had such a set of lungs on her, learning something new every day. Shaking his head, Geoff tried to speak up to Jasmine again despite her obvious panicking. "Listen Jasmine, you need to listen to me. Lincoln isn't-"
BANG! BANG! BANG! CRASH!!!
"GET! ME! OUT!!! I NEED AIR!!! CAN'T!!! BREATHE!!!!!!"
"…On second thought, I'll get back to you later," Geoff relented, knowing that there would be no talking to the Australian Amazon who was no doubt experiencing some major claustrophobia issues due to being trapped in the safe much like when they were locked in the submarine or prison cell. "Not gonna be able to chill out when she's freaking out like this…"
Eventually both teams managed to make it to where the bank vaults were. Wasn't too hard exactly as the vaults were rather big and there was no intention of hiding them…also there were fake road signs leading to the direction of the bank. Well it was a heist movie and all good criminals knew where the vault was.
Well neither teams were gonna complain about easily finding the location. For the Gaffers once they stood in front of the vault that had their logo on it…they immediately heard Jasmine screaming for her life in there and pounding on the door and the walls of the vault as hard as she could. "Yikes…that's just bad luck…" Bridgette let out, feeling bad for the Australian Amazon. Of all the people on their team that would get locked up in a confined space like a bank vault…it just had to be her. "We better get her out of there quick."
"Yeah no kidding, hey Jasmine! We're gonna get you out of there, just try and calm down ok!" Lincoln shouted…only to be responded with even more struggling coming from inside. "Ok she's not calming down. Harold! Do your thing!"
"Time to crack it wide open!" Harold grinned as he took out his stethoscope and went over to the safe and began working his magic. But as Harold got to work on cracking the combo, Harold winced as he heard more of Jasmine's screaming and her struggles to escape. It was muffled by the big metal vault but it was still clear enough for everyone to hear. But now with him using his stethoscope he could hear Jasmine loud and clear, emphasis on the loud. "Gosh! I can't hear the numbers with Jasmine yelling! Someone talk to her and try to calm her down!"
"I got this!" DJ was quickly the one to step up, rather eager to do so as well, and the brickhouse went over to the other side of the vault so as to not get in the way of Harold trying to crack the safe. "Jasmine! It's me DJ! Can you hear me?!"
"D-DJ?" Thankfully hearing DJ's voice did seem to help Jasmine calm down, at least a tiny bit, as she responded to his words. "Y-Yeah I can hear you!"
"Ok good! Listen to me Jasmine, you are going to be just fine," DJ tried to reassure Jasmine, keeping things calm and collected. "Harold's working on getting you out, but he can't crack the safe if you keep panicking! You need to stay calm, I know you're afraid but we're all here for you. I promise you, you're gonna be ok."
"But-But-But the walls…they're…closing in…no air…" And just like that Jasmine began panicking again. "There's no-no air! I CAN'T BREATHE!!!"
"Jasmine! There's a vent! I promise you got plenty of air!" DJ tried to call out to Jasmine and reassure her. Knowing how bad her claustrophobia was DJ was really gonna have to think about something that could distract her big time. Well…there was one thing DJ could think of. "So Jasmine…I was thinking…since we're good friends and all maybe we could-"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" DJ was cut off by Jasmine letting out another panicked scream.
CRASH!
"DJ, I can respect a man trying to confess to his crush," Harold began saying to the brickhouse, dead panning at him a little bit. "But maybe there's a better time for it?"
"Right…fair point…" DJ chuckled and smiled sheepishly.
CONFESSIONAL – DJ
"Seemed like a good time hehe…" DJ nervously laughed, scratching the back of his head. "Maybe robbing a bank isn't the best time to tell someone ya got a crush on em,"
"Ugh, they're gonna beat us again…" Ronnie Anne growled as she and the Grips watched Harold begin to crack the safe from in front of the safe that had their team's logo on it that contained Geoff. Ronnie Anne was desperate to win once again. Not only were they once again behind in numbers, but the Gaffers were stronger than ever! Dawn was now cool with everyone again and the chance to take advantage over any cracks in their team were gone so they just had to try and beat them outright. But with Harold's safe cracking skills that was going to be a struggle for them. "Izzy! You're a crook! Open the safe!"
"Hmmmm, not something I'm used to. But I got one trick that should work!" Izzy told everyone before walking up to the safe door. Glaring at it, Izzy spit on both of her hands, rubbed them together, and aimed both her open hands at the door. "Open Sesame!"
…
…
…
"Well I've done all I can do," Izzy shrugged after returning to her team, both Ronnie Anne and Heather facepalming in unison.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Why haven't we voted her off yet?" Ronnie Anne asked with a deadpan.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"Maybe it was a bad idea to drop Duncan so early…" Heather pinched the bridge of her nose as a headache started to form.
"Great! Just great!" Ronnie Anne shouted in frustration as she pounded her fist against the vault door, wincing a bit as her fist came into contact with solid metal. None of them had any sort of safe cracking skills or any equipment allowing them to do so. Now they were in the clear to just be easily beaten by the Gaffers. "There's no way we can get this thing open! We're gonna lose!"
"Wait a minute! Look!" Lindsay smiled as she pointed to something that was next to the vault. A vent. A decently sized vent that a person could reasonably crawl through if they weren't too big. "We don't need to get the safe open!"
"What are you talking about?" Heather asked, thinking Lindsay was just pitching ridiculous ideas as Heather always does.
"Help me pry this open!" Lindsay immediately wrapped her fingers around the vent grate and began pulling. Seeing Lindsay's idea, Izzy and Ronnie Anne went to help her get it open and even Heather joined after some good ole fashioned threatening from Ronnie Anne. With a bit of effort, they managed to pry the vent open and remove the grate from the opening. "One of us can go through the vents and get Geoff out that way!"
"Ooooo we're gonna be sus!" Izzy grinned and rubbed her hands together.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"I can feel myself losing brain cells…" Heather's headache was upgrading to a migraine.
"I got this!" Izzy grinned as she volunteered to go into the vent. Probably for the best anyway. Lindsay's girls would certainly make it hard for her to go through the vent, Ronnie Anne's cake was gonna make her stuck, and Heather would just complain the whole time. "Imma coming for you Geoffy!!!"
"Crap!" Lincoln let out as he and the Gaffers saw Izzy dive into the vent. There was one next to their vault too so they could theoretically do that…but there's no feasible way Jasmine was gonna be able to squeeze herself inside a vent. The girl was struggling inside of a decently sized bank vault, no way Jasmine would go inside a vent even if she could reasonably go into it. And no way her giant frame could fit. "Harold, how's the progress?"
"Slowly but surely," Harold reassured Lincoln. He knew he had to try and hurry up but given the circumstances he was doing the best that he could. "I have to really try and hear the numbers, but I think I got a few down so far."
"Well just keep at it man," Lincoln cheered for Harold, not wanting to put too much pressure on him. "DJ, how's it going with Jasmine."
"Eeeeeeh…well she's not banging against the walls anymore so that's a good sign." DJ said while making a 'so-so' gesture with his hand. Jasmine was still panicking and screaming but it was still a very slight improvement. "I'm still trying to get her to ease up."
"SOMEONE CALL THE COAST GUARD!!!"
"…Maybe keep trying," Lincoln told DJ who nodded.
"Maybe…I get some video evidence!" Geoff listed another idea to himself of how to save Bridgette from Lincoln. Like Geoff said he took his time inside of the vault to try and think of ways to expose Lincoln's 'true colors' to Bridgette and get his girlfriend away from him. "I could record something and…wait…dang I don't have a phone…why didn't I bring my phone?"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
CRASH!
As Geoff was crossing another idea off the list, he heard the sounds of someone crawling through the vents followed by the vent grate on the wall being busted open from the inside with Izzy popping her head out. "Ahahaha! I'm here to kill ya!" Izzy shouted in a menacing voice before breaking out into a series of giggles. "Oh I'm just kidding, hehe. I'd never kill you, that-that'd be just totally…totally crazy I'd never do that…not with so many witnesses at least but right now I'm here to bust you out of this popsicle stand!"
"Oh sweet! Nice job using the vents Izzy!" Geoff complimented, choosing to ignore all the stuff Izzy said at first and just chalking it up to her...Izzyness. But before they went on their way, Geoff grabbed the bag of tools and tossed them to Izzy. "Here! This is the bag of stuff we need for the challenge!"
With the bag secured, Geoff crawled into the vent with Izzy and the two made their way back to the outside of the vent. Once outside, Izzy threw the bag of tools outside before she and Geoff exited the vent. "Yes! Now come on, we gotta hurry up!" Ronnie Anne quickly said as she hung the duffle bag over her shoulder before her team began leaving. But Ronnie Anne couldn't resist looking over her shoulder and give Lincoln a mocking look. "See ya at the finish line Lame-O!"
But to Ronnie Anne's surprise Lincoln didn't show any reaction. While Bridgette gave Ronnie Anne a nasty look in response neither Lincoln nor Dawn even acknowledged her. Ronnie Anne frowned in response to being ignored but was soon alerted by a clicking sound. "I got it!" Harold grinned as he began opening up the vault. "Help me get this open!"
"Crap!" Ronnie Anne let out before booking it after her team.
With help from the entire team, they got the large vault door open and once the door was open Jasmine was practically a blur as she sped out of the vault where she fell to her knees in relief. "FINALLY!!!" Jasmine cried out in relief, her eyes tearing up as she took a deep breath of sweet, sweet air. "I can finally breathe…"
"See?" Feeling a strong hand on her shoulder, Jasmine looks up to see DJ smiling at her and offering his other hand to help her up. "Told ya you'd be ok."
"Heh…yeah I guess so," Jasmine couldn't help but blush as she took DJ's hand, letting him help her back to her feet where the Australian Amazon gave him a nervous look. "T-Thanks for helping me through that mate,"
"Hey, it's no problem," DJ reassured Jasmine. "It's the right thing to do. But if you don't mind me asking, why are you so claustrophobic?"
At this question Jasmine began looking nervous as she looked around, trying to avoid DJ's eyes. "Well…" Jasmine struggled to get her words out. It wasn't exactly a happy memory to bring up but at the same time given how much her team has seen her claustrophobia they at least deserved some kind of an answer. But before she could give an answer…
"Um Jasmine…" Dawn's voice spoke up as both she and the rest of their team were inside the vault picking up the broken remains of tools that laid all over the floor. "What happened to our bank robbing tools?"
"Bank robbing tools?" Jasmine questioned with a raised eyebrow. "I found that in the vault with me and uh…tried to use em to bust the door open."
"Did you also see this note explaining the challenge?" Bridgette asked Jasmine in a blank tone as she walked up to her with the note that explained why Jasmine was in the vault in the first place. "Like how this is a bank heist themed challenge."
Jasmine grabbed the note from Bridgette and began speed reading through it. "Part of a bank heist challenge…bag of tools…" Once she finished Jasmine's eyes widened in realization over what she just did. "Oh crud…"
"And you broke all the tools!" Harold angrily yelled as he picked up the remains of what looked like a screwdriver. "We needed these to rob the bank!"
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"I think I might be in a pile of dung…" Jasmine worryingly said. "Maybe I should have gone to that therapist after all, hehe gave me dad quite the handful when he suggested it. Sorry pops…"
"Come on! This way!" Ronnie Anne managed to catch up with the team and even get ahead of everyone to properly lead them. Thankfully like with the vaults there were street sign props pointing them in the direction of the Bank of Chris which took them up the hill from the directing challenge. Looking back, Ronnie Anne's eyes widened as she saw the Gaffers also approaching. They had a good lead on them but it was clear that the other team was catching up. "Hurry! They're gaining on us and I am not losing to them again!"
Thankfully the Grips managed to make it up the hill and saw a fake bank all set up. Putting on calm and collected expressions, the Grips all entered the building like a heist gang would. With Ronnie Anne up front and her four teammates behind her doing their best to look threatening with Geoff adjusting his hat, Izzy growling, Lindsay brushing her hair over her shoulder, and Heather putting on her signature stink eye. Behind the desk of the bank was what appeared to be a woman with long blond hair that had her back to them.
Cracking her neck, Ronnie Anne stepped up to the woman with a fierce glare on her face. "Yo, lady," Ronnie Anne pounded her fist on the desk with one hand and used her other to grab a prop gun out of the duffle bag and aimed it at the woman. "Here's how this is gonna go, you're gonna give us all the cash you can and when the other team arrives you're gonna give them zilch if you know what's good for you!"
"Welcome Grips!" But catching all the Grips off guard was when the 'woman' turned around revealing that they weren't a woman at all but instead Chris wearing a blond wig. "As the first ones here you get the first bag of loot!"
"Oh this image is gonna be burned into my brain dude," Geoff let out as he covered his eyes so he didn't have to look at Chris in a woman's wig.
"Here is your bag of loot," Chris said as he reached under the desk and pulled out a decently large sack with a dollar sign on it that Ronnie Anne eagerly took. "For your next part of the challenge head back outside and make your getaway vehicles to the finish line first! Oh and you might wanna hurry it up because I pressed the security button here so the police are on their way to take you to the hoosegow!"
Everyone flinched after hearing them with Ronnie Anne gesturing them to head back out. "Come on! We got this!" Ronnie Anne yelled at her team as they all exited the bank. Right as they were leaving the Gaffers entered the back with Ronnie Anne sending a mocking look to Lincoln. "Good luck catching up Lame-O!" But once again, Lincoln didn't even acknowledge her leaving to Ronnie Anne to let out an irritated growl as she left the bank.
"Alright Chris we're here and-why are you wearing a woman's wig?" Lincoln cut himself off as he and everyone else rose a brow. Chris then struck a pose while brushing the wig back causing everyone to let out an uncomfortable shiver. "Ya know what forget I asked, hand us the money now!"
"Hmmmm…I don't know," Chris let out with a smirk as he tapped a finger against his chin. "The other robbers were pretty insistent on not letting you have any money, and considering your missing your bag of tools and have nothing to really leverage me with-"
STAB!
But Chris was cut off by Jasmine taking out her dagger and stabbing it into the desk, making Chris flinch. "Ya sure about that mate?" Jasmine asked in a threatening tone. Considering she destroyed all her team's tools she had to try and make it up to them and hey she was more than happy to do that by doing this and giving Chris a good scare. "Now I'd consider giving us the money or else!"
"W-W-W-Woah, o-ok! Ok! Here's the loot!" Chris rose up his hands and shakily handed Jasmine another bag with a money sign on it before taking a few steps away. "I don't want any trouble. Just head outside to get your getaway cars and cross the finish line first to win, and the cops are on their way so I'd hurry up if I were you!"
"You heard the teller guys!" Lincoln urged everyone to move again as they all began running out with Jasmine carrying the bag of loot. "Let's move! Move! Move!"
Both teams were soon neck and neck as they were running to where their getaway cars were waiting for them. "Get away cars in heist movies are always cool!" Harold said with a grin, anticipating what awesome vehicles awaited them. "Like Lotus Carltone!"
"Or Ford Broncos!" Geoff added with a grin.
"Or those Groovy Mini-Coopers!" Lindsay smiled and clapped in response.
But what awaited both teams were…neither. Instead what awaited them were two piles of parts with one being green and the other red and both piles having a flag with the teams respective logos on them. "Hang on…" Lincoln let out as he picked up one of the parts from his team's pile. "These aren't getaway cars! They're go-karts!"
A car horn got their attention as Chris drove in, in a car that was actually worthy of being a gang's getaway car. "They are in fact your getaway cars Lincoln!" Chris said with a smirk as both teams deadpanned at them. "Wouldn't be a challenge if they were already ready for you now would they? Plus what do you think the bank robbing tools were for? Now I'd hurry it up if I were you, the cops are just down the street!"
"I got this!" Lindsay grinned as she took the duffle bag from Ronnie Anne and immediately got to work putting the go-kart together much to her team's surprise.
"You know how to make a go-kart?" Heather asked, skeptical as usual.
"Who was it who built your bike last season?" Lindsay told Heather with a glare.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"Ok…I'll admit, she's got me there…" It really hurt Heather to admit that Lindsay was actually good at something, but the blond ditz was a surprisingly good grease monkey. "She did make a good bike for me last season…ugh, I think I need some mouthwash."
"How are we gonna put this together without our tools?" Bridgette asked as they managed to separate their parts to get a clear view of them and figure out what parts went where and which went together. But none of that mattered without the tools they needed to properly put them together. "Ugh Jasmine…"
"I-I'm sorry mates…" Jasmine apologized, shame clear in her voice as she looked down and held her arm. "I s-swear I didn't mean to ruin this whole thing for us…"
"Come on guys, let's not point fingers at each other." Luckily for Jasmine DJ came in to defend her as he put a hand on her shoulder. Yes Jasmine definitely messed up, but it wouldn't do them any good just to start blaming her, they were the Screaming Gaffers for crying out loud! They always found a way to come back from this. "We just need to put our heads together and figure out a solution! There's gotta be something we can do."
"Hmmmm…we could improvise!" Luckily Harold was there with an idea. After looking over the parts, the ginger nerd began forming a plan in his head. It would be hard, but he was sure the team could pull it off! "Jasmine, give me your dagger!"
"Um, alright," Jasmine wasn't sure why Harold needed it but she wasn't gonna question it as she handed Harold her dagger.
"If I use the tip like this…" Harold then got some parts together as well as a series of screws. Using the dagger as a screwdriver, everyone watched in amazement as Harold successfully put them together. "It works! We may not have the original tools but we can still use other stuff in its place!"
"I got some other things you can use," Jasmine began unloading the other stuff she always kept on her. A survivalist is always prepared after all.
"Everyone! Empty your pockets," Harold encouraged everyone with them all following his orders. "We can still do this!"
But as everyone was building their get away go-karts…
BLAAAAAAAAAAAARE!!!
Everyone flinched as they heard the sound of a police siren go off, and it was quickly coming closer. "Uh-oh! It's the fuzz!" Geoff yelled out as he pointed at the incoming police car. Or more accurately a golf cart colored like a police car with a siren on top. "Linds! You done yet?"
"Almost…and…done!" Lindsay grinned as she put the finishing touches on the kart with Lindsay quickly hopping into the driver's seat. "Everyone get in!"
While Geoff and Izzy quickly jumped into the back seat of the kart Ronnie Anne and Heather both glared down at Lindsay after seeing her at the wheel. "And why do you get the drive?" Ronnie Anne asked, gesturing to Lindsay to get out of the driver's seat. "I'm the leader here!"
"And I'm also the one that built the kart! So I drive!" Lindsay told the two of them with a glare before the blond grabbed them and forced them in the seats next to her. With all the Grips in their kart, Lindsay smirked before pulling out a pair of sunglasses from…somewhere and putting them on and starting the kart. "Let's book it!"
Flooring it, Lindsay began driving down the hill with the Grips all holding on tightly. All except Izzy who rose up her hands like she was on a roller-coaster. Meanwhile the Gaffers were trying to hurry it up as they heard the police siren getting closer and closer. "Crap, come on guys we don't have any time to waste!" Lincoln told everyone as they all finished up the part of the cart they were working on and got in with Lincoln at the driver's seat with Dawn and Bridgette sitting next to him and Harold, DJ, and Jasmine in the back. "Hope we tightened up the bolts enough!"
With the police golf cart on their tail, Lincoln quickly floored it in order to try and catch up with the Grips. "You better hurry it up Lincoln!" Harold told his friend as he looked back and saw the cops. "They're gaining on us! I can't go back to jail!"
Looking back, Lincoln saw who exactly the cops were. It was Lily and Edward both back in their costumes they wore in the Prison movie challenge, both were after them with the intent on arresting them…and Edward was at the wheel. As the platypus drove forward, Lily pulled out a megaphone and called out to the other team. "Attention wanted criminals!" Lily shouted to them before also pulling out a BB gun. "This is your first and only warning! Pull over or die!"
"You'll never catch us alive you blue pigs!" Jasmine shouted back at the cops. Lily narrowed her eyes behind her sunglasses before she aimed the BB gun at the Gaffers and began firing at them causing those in the back seat to try and duck to dodge them. "Ah! Who gave the tyke a gun!?"
"Lily you're gonna shoot someone's eye out!" Lincoln shouted to her only to have a BB bullet graze his face. "Ah! That wasn't encouragement!"
SMASH!
"Hey!" Harold yell out as Lily shot out their tail light. "Not cool!"
"Send my condolences to your tail light!" Lily shouted again before firing again.
Thankfully for the Grips since they started sooner than the Gaffers they were well on their way to the finish line at the end of the lot without any police firing at them. "Woohoo!" Lindsay cheered, enjoying the feeling of her hair blowing in the wind. "We're gonna make it!"
"Wait! Lindsay! Look out!" Geoff yelled out as he looked and pointed forward at an incoming obstacle.
"Huh?" Lindsay let out as everyone looked forward to see a costume rack in front of them that they were quickly approaching.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" All the Grips screamed as-
CRASH!
Crashing into the clothes rack, everyone ended up getting part of a costume on them with Lindsay now wearing a pair of groucho marx glasses, Ronnie Anne was wearing a baby bonnet, Heather wearing a clown neck frill and nose, Izzy wearing a lion's mane…and Geoff having a large bra on. "Ahahahahaha!" The team all laughed at the party dude as he tried to cover his chest.
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Ok, that was humiliating…" Geoff admitted as he put his hands to his chest. "But the extra support was nice."
But that wasn't all. Looking forward they all saw a logging truck approaching them. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
TEAR!
Luckily it was just a scene painted on a canvas. "AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" They then saw a broken bridge closed up by police tape approaching.
TEAR!
And that was just a scene too. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" They then saw a series of swat trucks at them.
TEAR!
And that was just a scene too. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" They then saw the planet Saturn in front of them.
TEAR!
Of course that was just a scene. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!" They then saw an old fisherman with a hook hand in front of them.
CRASH!
And this guy turned to be real as they launched him into the air after ramming into the poor guy at full speed. Thankfully for the Grips after that there wasn't anything to get in their way as they saw the finish line approaching with Chris and Chef waiting for them there. "Looks like the Grips are about to make a clean getaway!" Chris commented as he saw the Grips approaching with his binoculars.
But right as he said that the Grips go-kart began slowing down as the engine started sputtering. "What's going on?" Ronnie Anne asked before glaring at Lindsay. "What did you do?!"
"I may have spoken too soon," Chris chuckled a bit.
"Nothing!" Lindsay told Ronnie Anne as she tried slamming the gas again only to receive nothing as their kart stopped completely. "I think we're out of gas!"
"How?!" Heather shouted in irritation. "We used up the entire tank before we left?!"
CONFESSIONAL – Izzy
"And they laughed at me for planting gas trees! Muhahaha!" Izzy laughed as she poured the contents of a tank of gas into a flower pot. "And now we wait~"
"We gotta hurry up dudes! They're gaining on us!" Geoff told everyone as they all looked back to see the Gaffers quickly approaching with Lily and Edward still on their tail. "Get out and push!"
Everyone did as Geoff said and got out of the gasless kart and began pushing it as hard as they could. But even with all of them working together they were no match for the Gaffers still gas filled kart as they passed them. "Woohoo!" Jasmine excitedly cheered as the Grips could only watch the other team pass them. "We're gonna make it!"
But unfortunately it seems Jasmine had jinxed them. Right before they passed the finish line parts of the Gaffers kart began falling apart before their ride completely broke apart. "Dang…" Harold let out with a lowered head. "I guess we didn't tighten it enough."
With their car broken down, Lily and Edward were able to catch up with them with the platypus parking next to them and Lily coming out of the golf cart and shaking her head at the Gaffers. "Always a shame to see the good gone bad," Lily shook her head at the team with her arms crossed behind her back. "Robbing a bank is one thing but driving with a broken tail light is another! I'm gonna have to issue you a ticket of about…$10,000."
"But you're the one who broke it!" DJ told the six-year-old.
"Brbrbrbrb," Edward let out towards him.
But Dawn merely took the bag of loot from Jasmine and handed it towards Lily. "Here ya go," Dawn let out with a sigh, admitting defeat as the Grips came by pushing their cart, successfully passing the finish line. "That should cover it."
"It's a start," Lily glared at Dawn as she took the bag of money.
"And the winners are the Grips!" Chris announced as all the Grips began cheering for their victory while the Gaffers all looked down with Lily and Edward taking off after collecting the Gaffers loot. Jasmine in particular looked very worried. "Grips, while you committed anything but a perfect crime you'll be walking away free men while the Gaffers will be faced with another elimination ceremony! And as a bonus, you all can enjoy the bag of loot!"
LATER
"Oh yeah!!!" Izzy cheered as Ronnie Anne dumped out all the money from the bag of loot on the picnic table in front of the trailers, the Grips all grinning at seeing the money. "Have to mark this down in my heist scrapbook!"
"We're rich dudes!" Geoff cheered as he tossed some of the money in the air.
But Heather wasn't quick to celebrate as she grabbed one of the bills and saw it wasn't exactly the money they thought it was. "Official Chris Cash," Heather read what was on the money, cutting everyone's celebration short. "Cash only usable in the TDA Crafts Service tent towards the purchase of water…from the tap!"
"Aw man…" Lindsay let out, the happy feeling of victory quickly slipping away. "I was so set on going on a shopping spree…"
"Grrrrr!" Ronnie Anne growled as she tore in half the bill she was carrying.
DINNER TIME
"Hey Chef…" As usual, when meal time was rolling around DJ was providing help with Chef in the kitchen. Yeah Chef knew DJ was making the food not only edible but also incredibly delicious, but the buff cook found he didn't mind much. It was nice having someone in the kitchen helping him, plus he always got to enjoy the leftovers. And now DJ was taking the time to ask Chef about something that's been on his mind all day. "I was wondering if I could ask for your advice about something?"
"What's on your mind DJ?" Chef asked as he stirred something in a pot.
"Well…" DJ blushed a bit as he tried to get his words out. He remembered when Chef first brought this up to him and how embarrassed it left DJ, so he was starting to feel that all again. "I finally wanna try and ask Jasmine out."
"Aaaah, finally getting around that," Chef couldn't help but chuckle a bit, especially when he saw how flustered DJ was while talking about this "Was wondering when you were gonna do that, was starting to drive me nuts seeing you avoid that. And looks like you better do it today, I got my bets sayin' Jasmine won't last after today,"
"Y-Yeah, I think that too…" DJ said with a lowered head, knowing that Jasmine was primed to be eliminated now due to her destroying their tools when trapped in the vault. "So, I was hoping to get some advice from you. How would you confess your feelings to a girl?"
"Heh, why you askin' me for advice on that son? Didn't your dad ever teach you how to talk to girls?" Chef asked with an amused grin as he glanced over at DJ. But to the buff cook's surprise, DJ didn't say anything. Instead the brickhouse flinched a bit before looking down, a sad frown coming to his face. "…Your dad…not really the teaching type?"
"U-Um…no…no…" DJ said slowly, shaking his head and unable to look at Chef. "Not really…"
"…" Chef looked down a bit at this before putting on a firm look. Ditching the pot, Chef walked up to DJ and wrapped an arm around the brickhouse, pulling him in close. "Listen to me DJ, what girls really like is a man with a ton of heart. And you? You got one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. So when you confess to Jasmine, just reach from the heart and let her know how you feel. None of that fancy stuff."
"Really? You think that'll work?" DJ asked, finally looking up at Chef. Chef merely nodded and gave DJ a true genuine smile. "…Thanks Chef, that's just what I'll do."
"Good man DJ," Chef chuckled as he patted DJ on the head, ruffling it a little bit and messing up his cap. "Hey…you had a big day today, why don't you go get some rest. I can finish up here."
"Really? Ya sure?" Once again Chef nodded causing DJ to grin as he walked out. "Thanks Chef,"
"Heh, go get em tiger," Chef encouraged the brickhouse as he adjusted his chef's hat a little.
THE GILDED CHRIS CEREMONY
The iconic lights and music of the Gilded Chris ceremony blared throughout the film lot as the five remaining Grips sat themselves down in the VIP section as the six Gaffers sat down in the loser bleachers, fully aware that the six of them would become five. Chris then walked up to the stand on the stage to get things started. "Gaffers, once again the teams will be evened up." Chris began as the Gaffers all took out their voting devices. "A gang isn't always able to get everyone in the van before the cops show up, and today you must decide which member of the gang your ditching for a life in prison! Or in this case, reality show loserdome!"
CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln
"I feel bad about this, especially since DJ never got the chance to confess to her." Lincoln vented out his guilt over voting out the crush of one of his best friends. "But well…don't exactly have a lot of options here…"
"You've all casted your votes and made your decisions," With Chef handing him the five gilded Chris statues and the results, Chris was ready to announce who would be the next to be sent away in the lamosine. "Remember, if you don't get a Gilded Chris statue it'll be curtains for you! So…Lincoln, Dawn, you two are safe!"
"Yes!" Dawn and Lincoln cheered as they caught their statues, Ronnie Anne sending both a nasty look.
"Bridgette, DJ, you two are safe as well," Chris then threw the next two statues to the mentioned contestants.
"Phew…" Bridgette let out in relief as she and DJ caught their statues.
And with that, Harold and Jasmine tensed up as there was only one statue left with the two of them having yet to receive one. "Ah I always love this moment. One award left, but two left to stew in the tension and just praying that they get it," Chris said in amusement as he tossed the statue up and down in his hand. "Harold, you're on the chopping block for taking your sweet time getting Jasmine out of the vault, letting the Grips take an early lead."
"Hey, safe cracking is an art," Harold tried to defend himself. "It can't be rushed!"
"Literally every criminal would argue against that," Chris told the ginger nerd before diverting his attention to the Australian Amazon. "And Jasmine, your claustrophobia really ruined things for your team today, if you hadn't destroyed your tools you could have used them to build your getaway go-karts properly."
"Yeah, yeah, I know…" Jasmine embarrassedly admitted.
"And the last Gilded Chris goes to…" Chris began causing Harold and Jasmine to tense up again, Jasmine biting her lips and Harold desperately crossing his fingers. "…Harold."
"Sweet!" Harold said with relief as he gladly caught his Gilded Chris award.
"Aw bloody hell…" Jasmine sighed out, standing up in a slump.
"Sorry Jasmine," Bridgette apologized, feeling bad for having voted for their friend. "We still like you but…"
"No, no, I get it," Jasmine reassured her team there were no hard feelings as she smiled at the Gaffers and adjusted her hat. "Thanks for having me on mates, was a real pleasure gettin' to work with ya,"
But as Jasmine was walking down the carpet of shame towards the lamosine, someone called out to her. "Jasmine wait!" Jasmine looked behind her to see DJ running towards her, managing to catch her before she got into the lamosine. "There's…There's something I need to tell you!"
"What is it DJ?" Jasmine asked as she looked down at DJ with a raised brow.
"…" DJ was about to open his mouth to say something. But he then remembered his talk with Chef. No fancy stuff, just pulling from the heart. So instead of saying anything, DJ grabbed Jasmine by her shoulders and-
SMOOOOCH!
Jasmine was caught off guard by DJ colliding his lips with her own in a deep kiss. "Aaaawwww!" Dawn, Bridgette, Izzy, and Lindsay let out in unison.
"Alright!" Lincoln and Harold both cheered for the brickhouse.
"Hehe, atta boy," Chef nodded at the sight in approval.
Soon DJ parted from Jasmine, leaving the Australian flustered and stunned. "I'll, hehe, s-see you later," DJ told her his face also really red but the brickhouse managed to keep a confident look. "M-Maybe…on a date?"
"Y-Yeah…sure mate…" Jasmine let out as she soon formed a rather giddy smile and held her cheeks. "Oh wowie…" And with that, Jasmine entered the lamosine with it driving her away from Action as DJ waved her off smiling.
"Gaffers, why does this always seem to happen when one of you gets eliminated?" Chris asked the Gaffers who were only able to shrug in response. On that sweet note, Chris turned to the camera and began the outro. "We're down to half our cast now so the competition is bound to heat up more than ever now! Who will rise above the rest to win the million dollar prize at the end? And who will confess to who next? Find out next time on Total. Drama. Action!"
LATER THAT NIGHT
Currently Bridgette was taking some time to herself. She was sitting down at the picnic table outside the trailers, unable to really get some sleep at the moment. Her mind on Geoff at the moment and just thinking about how he's been acting lately. It just made her really sad and upset. Sure Geoff had his fair share of dumb moments but they were mostly always good natured and didn't change how sweet of a guy he was.
But lately he just…hasn't been that sweet guy anymore.
"Hey there," Bridgette jumped up a bit in fright as she looked behind her and saw Lincoln standing behind her, giving her a concerned look. "Penny for your thoughts?"
"Oh, hey Lincoln," Bridgette greeted her friend as he sat down next to her. "Sorry it's just that…it's Geoff…"
"Geoff?" Lincoln asked with a raised brow, offering to be a listening ear for Bridgette. "What about him?"
"I just…I think Ronnie Anne got into his head." Bridgette let out with a sigh, venting her frustrations to Lincoln. "He used to be a really sweet guy but lately he's been acting different…"
"Different?" Lincoln inquired, a worried look on his face. "How so?
"Like…he's saying things about you. Mean things." Bridgette explained to Lincoln, feeling guilty about having to tell him all this. She didn't want Lincoln's opinions on Geoff to get muddied up but she just couldn't stand Geoff saying stuff about Lincoln behind his back with Lincoln being none the wiser to it. "Like how you aren't trustworthy and stuff."
"I see…" Lincoln sighed out as he lowered his head in guilt. "I'm sorry."
"Why are you apologizing?" Bridgette asked him with a raised brow.
"Well…like you said it's Ronnie Anne getting into his head about all this," Lincoln explained, giving Bridgette an apologetic look. "So…I'm kind indirectly responsible."
"Lincoln, no." Bridgette firmly told him, looking directly into Lincoln's eyes. "You aren't responsible for anything she chooses to do. She's the one who's been just…the worst since she's been here."
"Yeah…she's been a handful…" Lincoln let out, knowing that was an understatement.
"I just…I want the guy from camp back," Bridgette said, looking down at her lap as she remembered the good times she had with Geoff back at the island and the loser resort. "Not the one who talks bad about other people behind their backs."
"Once this contest is over I'm sure he'll go back to normal." Lincoln tried to reassure Bridgette, putting a supportive hand on her back. "He just needs to get away from Ronnie Anne."
"Yeah…" Bridgette's tone was unsure.
"…Do you want a hug?" Lincoln kindly offered.
"Yes please." Bridgette immediately said with Lincoln not hesitating as he gently wrapped his arms around Bridgette and Bridgette instantly hugging back. "…You know…I would always ask my mom if I could have a brother…all these years later…I feel like I finally have one now,"
"…Heh, well hey," Lincoln began, feeling incredibly touched by Bridgette's words. "Happy to be here for ya sis,"
"Thanks Lincoln," Bridgette smiled, leaning more into the hug. "You're the best."
"Well I try," Lincoln said with a grin, making both of them laugh a bit. "And ya know, there's only ten of us left. I'm confident the merge is right around the corner. So I have an idea~"
"Oh?" Bridgette was definitely interested in hearing this. "And what's that~?"
Meanwhile watching them from a distance was Geoff. The party dude tightened his fist angrily, unable to hear what they were saying but seeing clearly Lincoln hugging his girlfriend close.
