Chapter 22 - Chapter 21: Superhero-ID 1

"Last time, on Total Drama Island," Chris began the recap as he entered into a phone booth, the host wearing what looked to be a business suit. "Our contestants became the most wanted criminals on set as they attempted to rob the first National Bank of Chris, but first they had to rescue their fellow criminals after Jasmine and Geoff were 'relocated' into secure vaults. While Geoff was cool as a cucumber and tried to think of ways to sabotage Lincoln, Jasmine was sour as a pickle as her claustrophobia kicked in big time which made it hard for DJ to put the moves on the Australian giant. Unfortunately for her however, Jasmine broke all the Gaffers tools in her freak out causing their getaway car to break down and for them to be caught by the fuzz! So her team decided to send Jasmine to the big house but not before DJ manned up and gave his fellow giant a smooch!"

Chris then emerged from the phone booth, now sporting something that could only be described as a rip off Batman costume. "With ten contestants left, we're down to half the cast," Chris began talking in a deeper voice as he pulled out a grappling hook. "What's in store for our remaining contestants in this pivotal time in the competition? Find out now on Total…Drama…Action!" Chris then shot the grappling hook before swinging away dramatically.

"Woohoo!" Currently it was night time on the film lot and the contestants were taking the chance to relax and have some fun. It's been a few days since Chris has given them a challenge so they were using the down time while they had it. And currently outside the trailers, Izzy, Dawn, and Bridgette were all hanging out with Izzy and Dawn hanging upside down from the tree and the surfer girl sitting on a lawn chair below it with her phone out. "I am the opossum queen! What's my time Bridgette?"

"Over two hours," Bridgette let out with an impressed whistle as she checked the timer on her phone. Izzy has been getting better and better at hanging upside down ever since she first started joining Dawn in sleeping outside and she wanted to track her progress. "Doing really good Izzy,"

"I'll say," Dawn complimented her psycho hose beast friend with a fond smile. While Dawn was upset that Jasmine was now gone, she at least still had both Izzy and Bridgette to hang out with. "You're truly becoming one with nature Izzy."

CONFESSIONAL – Dawn

"Izzy's a fast learner, took me a while to get the hang of it when I first started practicing with mom," Dawn let out before sighing nostalgically, remembering when her mom taught her how to properly handle and use her special abilities. "Wonder if it's possible Izzy is descended from an aura reader."

"Yo, crazy girl," And the three girls immediately frown as a voice they all grew to dislike spoke up. Walking up to the scene was Heather and Ronnie Anne, the two mean girls glaring at the three them happily returning those looks themselves. "If you're done being a loon get down from there,"

"Never!!!" Izzy yelled out, defying the leader of her team as she crossed her arms while continuing to hang upside down. "The Opossum Queen can not be contained! Ahahahaha!"

"Ugh, let's just leave crazy girl to hang out with these losers," Heather rolled her eyes, earning scoffs from Dawn and Bridgette. Heather simply ignored that as she leaned close to Ronnie Anne and whispered into her ear. "We have something important to talk about,"

"Tch, whatever," Ronnie Anne grunted out, sending one last nasty look to the three girls before she and Heather walked off to discuss whatever it was that Heather was talking about.

"Good riddance…" Bridgette muttered as she glared at the back of Ronnie Anne's head before sighing and running her fingers through her hair. "What has she put into Geoff's head…"

"Hm?" Dawn hummed, looking down at Bridgette with a little bit of concern. "Something wrong Bridgette?"

"It's just…it's Geoff…" Bridgette sighed out with a frown as she recalled just how Geoff's been acting the last few days. It really pained her to see the fun, goofy, good natured party boy she grew to love over the course of season one acting so nasty. "He hasn't been acting like himself lately…"

"Ya know I have noticed something…" Izzy began as Bridgette explained her situation to them.

"Really?" Bridgette blinked a few times as she looked up at Izzy. "What's that?"

"He's gone totally coocoo for Cocoa Puff! Ahaha!" Izzy let out with a loud laugh before properly explaining what she meant. "He just seems to be hanging around Ronnie Anne a lot and you'd have to be totally crazy to wanna do that!"

"Guess that explains you," Bridgette lightly teased with a small smirk on her face, just meaning for it to be a light hearted jab.

"Hah! Probably!" Izzy nodded her head before she began to go cross eyed. "Hey the doves have started to sing again!"

Thud!

And Izzy fell out of the tree face first, causing both Bridgette and Dawn to giggle a bit as Bridgette turned off her phone timer. At least Izzy still set a new record for herself. After their little fit of laughter died down, Dawn frowned a bit and looked at Bridgette sympathetically. "I'm really sorry to hear that Bridgette," Dawn told her friend with a sincere tone. Given everything that's happened recently, Dawn hasn't been paying too much attention to Geoff and his aura, but lately she has noticed some negative changes in it. "I wished I could've picked up on what was going on earlier, probably could have tried to nip it in the bud…"

"You can't blame yourself Dawn, it's not your fault," Bridgette reassured the nature lover, not wanting Dawn to shoulder the blame of what happened on herself. "It's Ronnie Anne's for messing with him and Geoff himself for listening to her. I just…need to try and reach out to him before he does anything bad or stupid."

"Well just know what we're all here for you Bridgette," Dawn told the surfer girl, with Izzy also raising her hand to give a thumbs up with both gestures making Bridgette smile and feel a little bit better about the whole thing. "You're not going through this alone."

"Heh, thanks girls," Bridgette blushed a bit at those words as she put a hand to the back of her neck. "You're the best."

And while the three girls continued hanging out, in the Craft's Services tent all the guys were taking advantage of a prime opportunity. Chef was gone and the kitchen was completely free for them to do whatever they wanted with. So DJ, Lincoln, Harold, Geoff, and even Lindsay were all in the kitchen together…well, Geoff wasn't. The party dude was simply sitting down at one of the tables resting his head on a hand with him simply looking into the kitchen to glare at Lincoln from time to time.

"How's this Lincoln?" Lindsay asked as she was helping the white head make a pizza with the kitchen thankfully containing all the ingredients they needed to make it. Lindsay was at first gonna head to bed early to get some beauty rest, but upon overhearing DJ inviting the guys into the kitchen she and her hungry stomach couldn't resist wanting to join in and it all led to her aiding Lincoln in making some pizza. "This enough cheese?"

"We got the kitchen to ourselves Lindsay," Lincoln told the blond with a grin. "Add as much cheese as you want! The pizza is your canvas!"

After hearing that, Lindsay grinned madly and began dumping more cheese onto the dough.

"Hah, might wanna make that into a Chicago style pizza," DJ chuckled a bit as he took a can of beans out of one of the cupboards and tossed it over to Harold. "Here those beans ya want Harold!"

"Thanks DJ," Harold grinned as he caught the beans and immediately began to open the can. While the pizza Lincoln and Lindsay were making sounded good, the ginger nerd was currently craving burritos and decided to make a few for himself. But before he began to make them, Harold frowned a bit in concern as he looked up at the brick house. "Hey DJ, you doing alright man?"

"Hm? Yeah I'm doin' fine," DJ raised a brow at Harold's question and nodded his head to reassure his friend. "Why you ask man?"

"Well it's just…ya know, Jasmine being gone and all," Harold slowly explained, bringing up how Jasmine was just recently eliminated. Harold remembered how hard he took it when Leshawna got eliminated and considering how sensitive DJ could be Harold couldn't help but be a little worried about him. "Especially since you were only just able to confess to her that you liked her. Just wanted to make sure you were alright despite everything."

"Aw, well I appreciate the concern Harold but you don't gotta worry bout me," DJ reassured Harold, waving off the concern with DJ keeping a strong smile on his face. "Don't get me wrong, it's a bummer that she's gone now but moping about it ain't gonna get me nowhere. I just gotta keep going and aim for the gold!"

CONFESSIONAL – DJ

"Chef and Jasmine have helped me a lot during the show, they really showed me how to be brave, courageous, and stand strong even when things ain't looking so good." DJ recounted the lesson's he's got from both Chef and Jasmine during Total Drama Action's runs. DJ really feels like he's changed for the better now. "So I'll just keep going and win this thing! For Chef, for Jasmine, for my brothers, and of course my Momma! Can't wait to introduce her to Jasmine!"

"I think that's a great way of thinking about it DJ!" Lindsay told the brick house with a grin after the blond finally showed mercy with the cheese and Lincoln now decorating it with toppings. "It's like me when Tyler was eliminated! Sure I was upset but I wasn't gonna let it get me down, I'm still in this and I'm gonna give it my all!"

"And I gotta say Lindsay you've been doing a great job at that," Lincoln couldn't help but compliment Lindsay about that. Sure Lindsay was on the other team but Lincoln didn't mind commending her for how good she's been playing the game lately. "Gotta say Linsday you've really been kicking butt lately,"

"Aw thanks Lincoln!" Lindsay gushed a bit at the compliment as she hugged Lincoln from the side and grinning widely. "That's really sweet of you to say,"

"Tch, trying to steal Tyler's girl too dude…" Geoff muttered sourly as he watched the scene with a bitter look.

"Hm, say something Geoff?" Harold asked as he began making his burritos, the ginger having heard Geoff say something but was unable to make out what it was.

"Uh, nothing dude just talking to myself," Geoff immediately answered with Harold simply shrugging and accepting the answer.

"I'm gonna see if the fridge has any pudding!" Lindsay told everyone as she separated herself from Lincoln and went over to the fridge. "I wanna have some dessert after the pizza!"

"Sounds good," Lincoln sent a nod towards Lindsay before looking at Geoff and giving him a friendly look. "Hey Geoff, want in on all this?"

"No thanks dude," Geoff immediately dismissed Lincoln's invitation while giving the white head the stink eye. "I'm not hungry,"

CONFESSIONAL – Geoff

"Ugh, it's driving me crazy that everyone is just so buddy-buddy with that jerk wad!" Geoff ranted out, the party dude having an angry look on his face as he just watched everyone buy into Lincoln's nice guy façade. Completely ignoring what a jerk the snowball truly was. "I gotta find a way to get that dude outta here and show everyone what he's really like,"

CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln

"Gotta say, the show has really been great so far," Lincoln told the camera with a genuine smile and happy tone. "Sure there have certainly been a few…hiccups to say the least and some less than pleasant people but I've made some really great friends here."

"So what did you wanna talk about?" Ronnie Anne asked as Heather had led her quite deep into the set, obviously wanting to make sure that they didn't risk anyone overhearing them. "And it better be important, I wanna get to bed it's late,"

"Hello, wake up and look at the obvious," Heather stated, looking at Ronnie Anne as if what she was about to say should be obvious. But apparently it wasn't to Ronnie Anne as the Hispanic teen sent Heather an irritated glare causing Heather to scoff and point it out. "There's ten of us left, we started with twenty. The merge is right around the corner and we'll be all on our own."

"Oh…right," Ronnie Anne let out as it all caught up with her as she put a hand to her head. Honestly that completely slipped her mind. The merge wasn't something she was thinking about as she was solely focused on defeating Lincoln and trying to thin out his ranks. But Heather was right, with half the cast left it was only a matter of time before Chris announced the merge and Heather and Ronnie Anne couldn't hide behind their teammates during elimination as Izzy was all buddy-buddy with that stupid hippy and Lindsay didn't hesitate to let both girls know she didn't like them. "Crap didn't realize that…"

"Big shocker," Heather rolled her eyes, causing Ronnie Anne to begin glaring at her again. "So what's your plan going forward then?

"Honestly…I think we're screwed if we don't win any challenges," Ronnie Anne would never admit this but she was worried. Even after the merge Lincoln's team would still be all close with him as well asIzzy and possibly Lindsay would join them. "We got massive targets on our backs and they're all too eager to vote us off,"

"Well, glad we share the same thoughts then," Heather nodded, having the exact same idea as Ronnie Anne did about how things would go when they got to the merge. "We just need to do everything we can to make sure that we win,"

CONFESSIONAL – Heather

"Or rather make sure I win~" Heather smirked with a chuckle. To absolutely no one's surprise Heather was fully ready to turn on Ronnie Anne and push her under the bus and to save her own butt. "Sorry Ronnie Anne~ Was nice while it lasted but like I said before, I'll be the last one standing in this alliance,"

CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne

"I know she's trying to betray me," Ronnie Anne said with the roll of her eyes, already having a good idea on what Heather was planning on doing during the next challenge. "I mean it's Heather. It's all over her face. So I better get to her before she gets to me,"

THE NEXT MORNING

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

The next morning at the film lot, it was looking to be another peaceful day off until a high pitched scream rang throughout the lot. This scream ended up waking up everyone as Dawn stirred awake from her tree and everyone else exited the trailers. "DJ, would you stop screaming!" Heather yelled out, the queen bee angry from her beauty sleep being cut short. "You're making my ear drums ring!"

"But it's not me!" DJ claimed as everyone looked at him to see that it was true. Normally only DJ or one of the girls could deliver a scream of that pitch but neither parties were screaming at all. "It's something else!"

"It's coming from this way!" Lincoln said as he pointed in the direction that the screams seemed to be coming from. "Come on, let's go!"

The ten contestants all ran in said direction to investigate what was going on as the screams would echo throughout the lot every few seconds. Eventually the ten teens ran into the city set where they discovered where the screams were coming from…Chef. Everyone raised a brow as they saw the buff cook tied up with rope and hanging from a crane while wearing a pink dress. "Uh…what's going on here?" Harold asked as everyone looked up at Chef with a mix of confusion and annoyance. "And why is Chef in a nighty?"

"Fear not fair damsel!" A familiar voice called out as everyone looked upward. Standing on top of one of the building props was Chris wearing his Batman-esc costume with a rope tied around his waist. The host with the most posed dramatically before jumping down towards Chef, the rope he had made it look like he was flying. Chris swooped down and freed Chef from the ropes and carried the buff cook in his arms as he continued soaring through the air…until the rope he was using snapped sending both screaming and crashing towards the ground

After taking a second to groan and recover, Chris stood up and removed his mask revealing his now messy hair. "I knew that bungee wouldn't hold!" Chris yelled out in anger over the pain he just went through. "That's what happens when production cheaps out! And now my hair's all messed up!"

"For once he takes a fall, hehe," Ronnie Anne snickered at Chris' expense.

But Chris heard this and immediately began giving Ronnie Anne the stink eye before smirking wickedly. "You think I'll be the only one taking a fall today? Well I think you'll be taking a SUPER fall during today's genre!" Chris began explaining to the contestants what movie genre awaited them for today's challenge. "The superhero blockbuster!"

The reveal immediately made some of the teens grin happily while a few others began groaning.

CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln

"YES! YES! YES! YES!" Lincoln repeated with a giant smile on his face.

CONFESSIONAL – Dawn

"Heheheh, so cute," Dawn couldn't help but gush at how excited her boyfriend was for this right now.

CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne

"Uuuuuugh…" Meanwhile Ronnie Anne was having the exact opposite reaction to the challenge that her ex-boyfriend was having. "I was dreading forr when this genre appeared…so many stupid dates…"

"Hold on, you can't make us have a challenge now!" Heather let out, still grumpy about having been woken up earlier than she would have liked. "We just woke up, we haven't even had the chance to get dressed."

"Or brush our teeth," Lindsay pointed out.

"Can't we catch a few more Z's dude?" Geoff asked, followed by a yawn.

"Evil never sleeps and neither will you," Chris pointed out, ignoring the contestant's complaints as he usually does. "Besides, superheroes don't do the things of mere mortals. They have screaming ladies to rescue,"

As Chef did a feminine pose to emphasize Chris' words, Harold spoke up. "Actually, many superheroes are mere mortals," Harold pointed out, the ginger geek equally as excited as Lincoln for the genre chosen today. "My favorite, the incredible Owl Man, catches thieves just like mice. But come morning he puts his pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us,"

"Speak for yourself boy," Chef informed Harold.

"How would you like it if Owl Man scratched your eyes out with his talons?" Chris asked Harold with a threatening look, making the ginger fall down as he backed away from Chris. "I didn't think so. Now, shut it!" With everyone silent and their eyes on Chris, the host smiled in satisfaction as he began to properly explain things to everyone. "Now then, there are three things intrinsic to all superhero movies. One, superhero powers,"

"Um-" Lincoln was about to speak up but-

"Don't even think about saying Batman or Ironman," Chris knew what Lincoln was about to say and quickly shut him up. "Being rich might as well be a superpower,"

"…Mmmm…" Lincoln shut himself up but grumbled angrily a bit with Dawn patting his back in comfort.

"Two, superheroes save people," Chris immediately began listing things again. "And three, my personal favorite, superheroes wear tights! Which means you will all be wearing teensy-tiny tights! Hahaha!" This news got groans from a number of the teens though Lindsay began smiling and clapping at that fact.

"Can't we go through one challenge without being humiliated?" Heather let out with a groan.

"What do you think?" Chris asked Heather with a grin, making the queen bee glare at him. Chris was about to dismiss them, but soon remembered something very important to tell them. "Oh, one more thing about superheroes actually. A lot of them work in groups, but there are a few that prefer going solo. Which is what you'll all be doing from now on!"

"What do you mean by that?" Bridgette asked with a raised brow.

"Simple! I shall be using my own superpowers now!" Chris dramatically announced as he put a hand on his chest. "My superpower of controlling the show! And I shall use it…to split up the teams!" This got a number of gasps from a few people, but Lincoln found himself smirking. Looks like he called it. "The Gaffers and Grips are no more! From now on its every contestant for themselves!"

"Alright!" Izzy cheered as she rose up her arms in excitement. "Let the bloodbath begin! Ahahahaha!"

"Well…not the worst thing to happen," Lindsay said with a shrug, not too upset about this outcome.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ronnie Anne asked while giving the blond the stink eye.

"You're smarter than me," Lindsay told Ronnie Anne with sass in her tone, turning her head away from Ronnie Anne and whipping her hair in the Latina's direction. "I'm sure you can figure it out~"

As Ronnie Anne growled at Lindsay in irritation, Bridgette smiled a bit as she walked up to Geoff. "Hey, look on the bright side," Bridgette told her boyfriend in a sweet tone. This was her chance to finally clear Geoff's mind. With the teams split he'd have no reason to stick with Ronnie Anne and be away from her. "We get to spend more time together now,"

"Yeah…yeah that's true," Geoff smiled as he wrapped an arm around his girlfriend. With the teams disbanded now he could keep her safe and away from Lincoln and he could show her what a jerk the guy really was. "Missed ya babe,"

"I missed you too," Bridgette then delivered a kiss onto Geoff's cheek. But after that she leaned close to his ear and whispered. "Meet us in the Craft Services Tent before the challenge begins."

Geoff rose a brow at this, but didn't question it and nodded at his girlfriend.

"Now what are you all still standing around in your PJ's for?" Chris began again after giving the teens a bit of time to process the news of the merge. "Go and get ready and be back in Superhero speed! So…you should already be back by now, haha!"

And so everyone began heading back to the trailers to get properly dressed, but as they were walking Dawn quickly caught up with Izzy and whispered in the Psycho Hose Beast's ear. "Meet us all in the Craft Services Tent," Dawn told her friend with Izzy smiling and nodding.

And it wasn't just Dawn and Bridgette, DJ quickly caught up to Lindsay and whispered the same thing. "Meet us all in the Craft Services Tent," Lindsay raised a brow at this, but sent a smile and thumbs up DJ's way.

Once they got back to the trailers, while Ronnie Anne and Heather went into the girls' trailer and began getting ready for the day the other eight contestants gathered at the Craft Services Tent with Bridgette and Lincoln standing in front of the area where Chef served them their food while everyone else took a seat at one of the tables. "Uh, what's going on here?" Geoff asked as he saw everyone, sans Heather and Ronnie Anne gathered up, with Geoff again giving Lincoln a glare with the party dude not knowing and not wanting him to be here. "Bridgette, why'd you ask me here?"

"Well we wanted you and everyone here because me and Lincoln have an idea," Bridgette explained as everyone listened to what the surfer girl was saying. "You wanna take it away Lincoln?"

"Thank you Bridgette," Lincoln sent a nod to the surfer girl, causing Geoff to begin gritting his teeth at the sight. "There's eight of us and only two of Ronnie Anne and Heather. I'm thinking all eight of us can form one big super alliance to take them down!"

After hearing this, nearly everyone else in the room began smiling as the idea was shared with them. "Hey, that's a great idea!" Harold spoke up, already on board with his best friend's plan. "With all of us working together they don't stand a chance!"

"We can finally get rid of them!" Lindsay clapped at the idea of finally getting rid of the two mean girls. With them gone the million dollars is guaranteed to go to a good person. "Well you can count on me Lincoln!"

"You know I always got your back brother," DJ reassured, also hopping right on board for this plan. "Whatever you need, I'm here!"

"Numbers warfare, I like it!" Izzy began laughing maniacally as she tapped her fingers together. "Off with their heads!"

Lincoln and Bridgette grinned at each other at everyone being on board for their plan. They know they didn't need to wait for Dawn's answer as Lincoln's girlfriend was of course on board. But there was still one who has yet to give an answer. "Geoff," Bridgette spoke up as she saw her boyfriend was looking at everyone else in disbelief causing Bridgette to look at him with a bit of worry. "What about you?"

"Wha…babe you're talking about ganging up on them 8 vs 2," Geoff just couldn't believe how everyone around him was acting. They were all just cool with ganging up against the two mean girls in secret? They were all just ok with blindly following Lincoln!? "That's kinda harsh."

"Well…it's Ronnie Anne and Heather," Lincoln stated with everyone else nodding in agreement. Why should they give either of them a fighting chance?

But hearing this made Geoff immediately begin glaring at Lincoln as the party dude stood up from his seat. "Look Heather I can get but dude you've been a jerk!" Geoff claimed as he pointed at Lincoln. This made everyone look at Geoff in shock while Dawn began glaring at him. "All you've been doing is gunning for your ex this entire time!"

"I mean, we haven't been on the best of terms with each other," Lincoln tried to be reasonable with Geoff and spoke calmly. He was told by Bridgette how he's been acting lately and it looks like that was true. "And it's not like she hasn't been doing the same for me. You've seen how petty she can be,"

"And she also told me how you aren't exactly the best boyfriend bro," But Geoff wasn't backing down as he continued to defend Ronnie Anne much to everyone's disbelief. "All this time you've been bad mouthing her and acting like you did nothing wrong!"

"I didn't do anything wrong!" At this Lincoln did begin raising his voice as he started glaring back at Geoff. "Was I a perfect boyfriend? No. But who is? Besides, she dumped ME! After we promised to support each other."

"I'm not talking about that dude!" Geoff yelled as he pointed at Lincoln and started stomping up to him, ready to give the Loud boy a piece of his mind. "But still how would you feel if your partner went on TV without you to become famous and badmouth you!?"

"Geoff that's enough!" But before anything could start Bridgette got in between her boyfriend and best friend and glared up at Geoff. He was taking it too far and she wasn't going to accept him acting like this. "I don't know where this attitude is coming from but I don't like it one bit! Ronnie Anne is poisoning your mind!"

"So you're taking his side over me?!" Geoff yelled out at his girlfriend in disbelief. How could she? They were a couple!

"You know what, yes I am!" Bridgette yelled out without any hesitation at all. There's no way she can trust Geoff when he was acting all…like this! "Geoff you used to be so sweet and nice but lately you've been acting really nasty!"

"Because of him!" Geoff snapped while pointing at Lincoln who was now fully glaring at Geoff. Looking around, Geoff saw that everyone was also beginning to glare at him showing they were also siding with Lincoln. "Ugh! You know what fine! You can do what you want but I'm not helping this jerk!"

And with that Geoff stormed out of the tent, leaving everyone to see just what Geoff had become.

Once Geoff was gone, everyone immediately began looking at Bridgette in concern. "Bridgette, are you ok?" Lindsay asked her fellow blond as she stood up and went up to Bridgette to put a comforting hand on the surfer girl's shoulder.

"…" Bridgette was silent at first as she simply looked down at the ground, her hands tightened into fists. "…Lincoln...I'm so-"

"You don't have to apologize for him Bridgette," Lincoln reassured his friend as he kept his voice even. "Seven people is plenty for the alliance,"

Everyone nodded in agreement at that, but made a mental note to also keep an eye on Geoff from now on.

CONFESSIONAL – DJ

"I was good pals with Geoff back on the island," DJ said with a serious tone, greatly disappointed in how his friend was acting. "He was a cool dude…but that ain' t the Geoff I knew,"

CONFESSIONAL – Dawn

"His aura is so twisted and confused now," Dawn put a hand to her head in regret. She can't believe she failed to notice. "Urgh! Why didn't I see this sooner?!"

CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette

"…I want the old Geoff back…" Bridgette lamented as tears built up in her eyes.

Soon enough the ten contestants were back in the city set where a few things were set up. A bunch of tables with sewing machines were all set up and there were trash cans filled with various fabric materials. "For your first challenge each of you will create your own superhero identities!" Chris announced .

"Alright!" Harold and Lincoln cheered before high fiving each other.

"You'll make your own superhero costumes using nothing but your versatile imaginations and tons of spandex!" The sound of a garbage truck was heard as everyone saw one backing up onto the scene and dumping a pile of random junk onto the area. "And some other junk too! You'll be judged by originality, style of costume, and how rocking your superpower is, and how cool your superhero name is. Top score wins an advantage in the next round. Chef will of course play the super villain which, let's face it, won't be that big of a stretch!"

Suddenly in a cloud of green smoke both Chef and Edward appeared wearing a green snake themed super villain costume with Edward having a green mask around his face. "Meet Pythonicus!" Chris introduced Chef's villainous persona before gesturing to Edward. "And his wicked side kick, Beaver Boy!"

"Brbrbrbr!" Edward angrily let out at Chris in response to his super villain name.

"That's the name we're sticking with, so deal with it!" Chris told the platypus firmly causing Edward to let out an irritated growl as Chris turned back to the contestants. "They will try to sabotage you. Any questions?" At this everyone raised their hands but Chris decided to just ignore them. Like he usually does. "No questions? Perfect! And Action!"

"That one's mine!" Lindsay immediately rushed towards one of the materials in one of the trash cans. But as she grabbed it Heather also tried to seize it for herself. "Hey that's mine!"

"I saw it first!" Heather claimed as the two girls began playing tug-o-war for the material.

CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay

"Forget superpowers, Heather's on a super powered trip! Ronnie Anne too for that matter!" Lindsay stated as she crossed her arms before smirking. "But with our new super alliance it won't be long before they're both gone!

As everyone scrambled to get material for their costumes, Chef and Edward grinned at the scene as they began their work on sabotaging all the contestants.

GEOFF

Geoff was on a mission. He knew about the super alliance that that bastard Lincoln set up to have everyone gang up on Ronnie Anne. He still couldn't believe they all agreed to it. Of course Dawn and Harold would as they were the closest to Lincoln, and Izzy had also befriended Dawn over the course of the season despite the two being on different teams. Lindsay held a grudge against Heather since last season and Geoff knew that Lindsay would definitely want revenge against her and Ronnie Anne by proxy. But sweet innocent DJ and his own girlfriend also joining in? It baffled his mind.

He had to try and stop them, but how? It was seven of them and just him. Even if he teamed up with Heather and Ronnie Anne that'd make it just 3 on 7 which was still a giant gap to leap over.

So for now he just had to focus on trying to win for himself and possibly weakening the super alliance in the meantime.

But as he was preparing his superhero costume, the second he looked away to grab some measuring tape Chef saw the opportunity to toss Edward on the table Geoff was using. With his sharp ankle barbs, Edward tore the costume to shreds and fled right as the party dude turned around leaving him gasping at the sight.

DJ

DJ was struggling when it came to making his hero costume. While he didn't dislike superheroes, he wasn't exactly a fan of them either. It was just something he never really got into. Plus he wasn't the most creative person in the world.

So instead DJ decided to search through the junk pile and pile up any potential objects he could use in hopes that they could give him some ideas. But as he piled the objects he dug out behind him he failed to notice Chef and Edward stealing away everything he was collecting with the brick house none the wiser. "Hmm," But as this was going on, DJ managed to find a traffic cone in the pile of garbage. Looking over it, the gears began turning his head as an idea soon appeared in his head. "I got it!"

DJ then turned around to see what he could use from the stuff he got alongside the cone…only to see everything he collected completely gone.

HAROLD

Harold was doing a great job with the challenge so far. He knew exactly the kind of hero he wanted to become and had already made up the suit. He just needed to put on the finishing touches. So he got a red logo with a white tornado on it and put it on the chest part of his suit before turning around to get something else. But while his back was turned Chef came up from under the table and swapped the tornado logo for one that had what looked to be a fart cloud on it.

LINCOLN

Lincoln was grinning happily as he made up his costume. Similar to Harold he already knew what he wanted to do and had gathered up the necessary materials to do so. Thankfully with the sewing skills he picked up from Leni it was a breeze for Lincoln to put his suit together. He just needed to finish up a few things.

"Now let's see here…" Lincoln muttered to himself as he brought up a helmet he managed to fish out of the trash pile and wanted to incorporate it into his costume. He just needed to add a little flare to it. "I think I saw some cans of spray paint near the materials!"

Lincoln then set off to grab said paint. But when he was gone Edward and Chef appeared and pulled out their own spray paint cans. Laughing maniacally, the two villains began spraying Lincoln's helmet with an assortment of random colors.

By the time Lincoln returned Chef and Edward were gone and Lincoln's helmet looked like a bag of skittles threw up on it.

IZZY

As for Izzy, she was taking some more private measures when making her costume as she set up a curtain around a table she claimed dips on. Chef and Edward stood outside the curtain, debating if they wanna attempt and sabotage the crazy girl as they heard a variety of sounds coming from her station ranging from a chainsaw, a jackhammer, symbols crashing together and-

"Ooo! A blowtorch!" Izzy laughed out as Chef and Edward flinch as they heard the sound of a blowtorch blowing coming from inside. That was enough of a reason for them to get the hell outta there.

LINDSAY

Thankfully Lindsay was a far easier target than Izzy. The blond bombshell was so engrossed in the sewing machine that she didn't notice Chef throwing in random materials to the costume Lindsay was sewing together.
