Chapter 1 - Reincarnation Roulette: Nine Tails in the Blue Sea!

A man in his early twenties lounged comfortably on his bed, a relaxed smile on his face as he scrolled through his favorite web novel app. He was enjoying a rare day off, and nothing sounded better than catching up on Naruto: Eye System (Rewrite). The fanfic was just getting to a juicy arc, and he was fully engrossed in the story.

"'Man, this rewrite is fire. Yuto's about to clap that arrogant Hyuga,'" he thought with a small grin.

But just as he tapped to read the next Chapter, a blinding white light suddenly burst from his phone screen.

"What the—?!" he shouted, eyes wide as the light engulfed him entirely.

He didn't even have time to scream before everything went dark.

When he regained consciousness, he found himself in an unfamiliar room. His breath quickened as he sat up, panic gripping his chest.

'Where the hell am I?!'

The room looked like a regular bedroom—decent-sized, slightly messy, with two school bags, stacks of books, and random knickknacks strewn across the floor. The air smelled faintly of soy sauce and burnt garlic. His eyes darted around, desperately trying to make sense of his surroundings.

Then his gaze landed on a man seated comfortably on a worn-out sofa, scribbling something into a notebook while glancing occasionally at his phone. The stranger looked like someone you'd pass on the street without a second glance—black hair, glasses, brown eyes, black jacket over a plain white T-shirt, and baggy pants. A half-finished plate of fried rice sat beside him.

The man looked up, smiled, and gestured toward the chair across from him.

"Please, have a seat."

Still shaken, the young man hesitated before slowly moving toward the chair, legs trembling.

"I—I don't know who you are," he stammered. "But please, let me go! I don't have anything valuable! My wallet's empty, my bank account's depressing, and I swear I've never scammed anyone in my life!"

His voice cracked as his mind raced with terrifying possibilities. One moment he was relaxing at home, and now he was in some unknown room with a total stranger who looked far too calm.

The man simply chuckled.

"Relax. I'm not a kidnapper. In fact, I'm here to give you a gift."

"A... gift?" the man echoed, confused.

"Congratulations, *****. Or should I say... Yami?" the man added with a smirk.

Yami froze.

'That name... Yami... where have I heard—wait!'

His eyes widened as the memory hit him. It was a comment he'd left ages ago on Naruto: Eye System before it was rewritten.

His finger pointed at the man. "Y-you're—"

The man cut him off with a grin. "SKMSENSEI, or SKM for short. One of the newly graduated gods from the Divine Academy. Top of my class in 'Dimensional Management and World Creation.' I even earned a diploma in fanfiction!"

Yami blinked, utterly dumbfounded. "You're... a god?"

SKM nodded with a cheeky grin. "Yep. A certified, licensed deity. I specialize in anime worlds and fanfiction reincarnation setups. You're my lucky pick today."

Yami's mouth hung open.

'I was just reading fanfic a minute ago, and now I'm in some multiversal nonsense with a god who looks like he works part-time at a noodle shop?!'

Before he could spiral further, SKM raised a hand.

"Easy there. Like I said, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to offer you a new life. Think of it like winning the cosmic lottery."

Yami swallowed hard, trying to steady his breathing. 'Is this real? Am I hallucinating? Did I die or something?'

He pinched himself.

"Ouch!"

Nope. Definitely real.

"Wait... if I'm here, what about my real body? My family? My life?" Yami asked with a rising edge of worry.

SKM waved his hand casually. "Already taken care of. When I brought your soul here, I sent a clone of your Soul back to your world. Your clone lived your life—graduated, worked in a good company, grew old, and just now... passed away peacefully at the age of 89 in a hospital bed."

As he spoke, a glowing orb of light formed in SKM's palm. He flicked it toward Yami, and it shot into his forehead.

Suddenly, Yami's head jerked back.

Memories flooded in.

"These... are my memories..." he whispered, "It... it really happened..."

SKM nodded solemnly. "Yes. So now, you're free of regret. Time to move forward."

Yami sniffed, wiping his eyes as he became a little emotional. "So... what now?"

"Now comes the fun part. You'll be reincarnated into the One Piece world I personally crafted with some changes," SKM said with a grin. "You'll be granted a Devil Fruit with powers from another universe—plus three wishes."

Yami's heart skipped a beat.

'One Piece? Devil Fruit? Three wishes?!'

But he wasn't stupid. He needed details.

"If I'm reincarnated, what kind of body will I have? Will I be strong by One Piece standards? Will I have Haki? And... whose body am I taking over? What will my fruit be?"

SKM smirked. "Good questions. You'll be taking over the body of a young man who was about to die from a heart condition. As for your strength, Identity and everything else related to your new body, well... that's a secret. You'll find out soon enough."

"As for your Devil Fruit..." SKM raised a finger dramatically. "It's the Kyu Kyu no Mi: Mythical Zoan, Model: Nine Tails."

Yami's eyes lit up. "Wait... you mean like Kurama?!"

"Exactly, but slightly enhanced to match one piece standards. You'll be able to use all the Kyūbi's chakra forms—from the basic orange cloak Naruto used against Neji to the full nine-tailed avatar mode. Even Baryon Mode is available when the fruit is awakened... but beware. Using Baryon Mode will burn out the fruit temporarily and put you in a coma for who knows how long. You can only use Baryon Mode again after its count down, of 2 years, is over. And you won't just become stronger since day one. You will have to train hard like Naruto to master the powers of the fruit step by step."

'Kurama's powers without Kurama's nagging? That's insane!' Yami thought, feeling excitement begin to bubble up even with those restrictions.

"Now," SKM continued. "Make your three wishes. But fair warning—you can't wish for god-level Haki from the start, awakenings, or cheat-level stuff like infinite power. Keep it spicy."

Yami nodded, closing his eyes for a moment as he thought it through.

'This is my chance. I need to make these count.'

He opened his eyes.

"For my first wish, I want all three types of Haki, with the best learning potential—something that lets me surpass even the strongest in the future. Even Luffy, Garp, Shanks, and Roger can't compare to my talent. It will even surpass Imu's Talent."

SKM gave an approving nod. "Solid."

"For my second wish, I want the ability to extract Devil Fruits from others and consume as many as I want."

"Hmm..." SKM tapped his pen against his notebook. "Too OP. I'll tweak it. You can extract Devil Fruits—but doing so will kill the host. And you can eat up to eight additional fruits, excluding your Nine Tails Fruit. So a total of nine. Fitting, huh? And also, you can only Awaken the nine tails fruit and the second fruit that you eat."

"Fair enough."

"For my third wish, I want the knowledge and powers of every swordsmenship skills from every master swordsman from anime—Bleach, One Piece, Demon Slayer, Sword Art Online, and more."

SKM let out a low whistle. "Damn. You're aiming high. I like it. Granted!"

Then, with a loud clap, SKM stood up.

"Alright! Everything's ready. It's time for your adventure to begin!"

A glowing portal opened beneath Yami's feet.

"Wait, WHAT?! ALREADY?!"

"Good luck, bro. Make it fun!" SKM winked as Yami was sucked into the swirling vortex.

The portal vanished.

SKM turned back toward an invisible audience and smirked.

"Well then, my dear readers... due to a little divine error, the original One Piece: Nine Tails was deleted. But fret not—this is the rebirth. A fresh start. I hope you enjoy the ride..."
