Synopsis
In a world that has forgotten the divine, a mysterious phenomenon awakens latent abilities in all of humanity, plunging the globe into chaos. Amid fear and disaster, a deity reveals himself: Igaar, the self-proclaimed God of Life. With his appearance, he unveils the existence of seven Guardians, chosen from the most powerful individuals to represent each great nation and restore balance. Among them is Ángel, a young man burdened by recent loss and the frustration of being the only one left powerless. When his name appears among the chosen, the world scoffs—and instead of bringing him hope, it completely breaks him. His power is sealed, crippled by an old injury he’s carried since before the awakening. Rejected by his nation and deemed a failure, Igaar himself decides to erase him. But in a moment of emotional upheaval, Ángel's destiny is rewritten. He survives, and his shattered existence—rebuilt by a mysterious alliance and an ancient shadow still harboring a grudge against life—becomes one of the greatest anomalies in the universe. With the world and his soul fractured, Ángel sets out on a crusade against the divine lie.

Chapter 1 - Prelude: The Beginning and the End

The breeze is calm, but cold.

I can feel the wind crashing against my worn and torn clothes.

I look up: the sky, the clouds, the leaves swaying with that breath of life.

Everything is orange.

Is it autumn?

Doubt overwhelms me, but my body doesn't react.

I don't feel it.

It worries me… though not enough.

Can't feel my body?

It doesn't matter.

I feel nothing.

I am not.

Autumn? Wasn't it summer?

I remember...

What do I remember?

I'm lost.

I breathe. At least I think I do.

I can't move. I'm on the ground.

I'm wet — that I can feel. Looks like it rained.

From here, the sky is split: part clouds, part blue, part falling leaves...

Everything is divided.

Like me.

Then...

Why is it looking at me with such expectation… and yet such sorrow?

What a strange creature.

It's the only thing I can see from here.

And yet, seeing it in distress…

makes me feel sad.

I don't know why.

Strange creature.

I don't know what it is, but it has a majestic presence.

I don't know what it is... and I don't know what I am.

Its eyes seem to know me.

I can't say the same.

But... behind it I see the sky, I see clouds, I see leaves.
