Synopsis
In a world on the brink of collapse, towers pierce the sky and gates bleed nightmares into reality. Humanity is forced into a deadly game—an apocalypse orchestrated by celestial beings who descend from the heavens and declare, "Show your worth, or perish." Aetle Haneul , a forgotten orphan with no family, no future, and no name worth remembering, dies in the most senseless way—stabbed by a stranger for no reason. But death isn’t the end. He awakens in the past, in his old apartment, younger, sharper, and haunted by the dreamlike memories of futures that never came. With only two days before the sky splits and the Star System is born, he must prepare. But when others awaken to powers, classes, and glory—he gains nothing. No class. No blessings. Just a passive ability: the cursed gift to glimpse alternate timelines. Mocked and abandoned, Aetle Haneul quietly begins mastering every path alone, every profession, every weapon, every art. For he remembers the angel’s cruel judgment—the first scenario. A massacre in disguise. Only those who reach Level 7 survive. Only the few who attain Level 10 may choose their fate. As the world plunges into chaos, Aetle walks a path none have seen before. Because this time, he knows the future. And he’s not planning to be a pawn. He’s aiming to rewrite the system. "Let the gods watch. I’ll show them what true regression means."

Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Day Before The End

Finally...

Haneul stretched his back, eyes squinting against the late afternoon sun.

"I've done it," he whispered, staring at the city skyline. "Graduated. No parents. No support. But I still made it…"

He smiled—tired, bitter, but proud.

Only a job remained now. Then maybe… finally… peace.

But those dreams… they hadn't stopped.

Every night, like a curse:

> A tower swallowing the sky.

The world drowned in black tsunamis.

Oceans of fire.

Screams. Monsters. Endless death.

"I'm going crazy," he muttered as he walked down the street. "They're just dreams. Just—"

That's when he saw the man.

Walking toward him. Slow. Deliberate.

The man's face was hazy, like smoke dancing under light. But he felt... familiar.

Haneul slowed down.

"Do I know you?"

The man didn't reply. He just pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

Haneul staggered, eyes wide. "W-What…?"

He stumbled back, clutching his stomach as warm blood soaked through his shirt. The pain hit like fire and frost all at once.

"Why…? I didn't… I don't even know you...!"

His legs gave out. The world tilted.

People didn't scream.

No one noticed.

His eyes dimmed as he collapsed on the pavement.

> "This can't be how it ends… I didn't even get to live…"
