THIRD PERSON POV
In an anime café adorned with posters of iconic characters from shows like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and Dragon Ball, two people sat at a corner table while a waitress placed two cups of coffee in front of them with a polite smile.
"Anything else, sir?" the waitress asked.
"No, thank you for the coffee," replied a young man in his late twenties, returning her smile before shifting his gaze toward the woman sitting across from him.
Her sour mood was evident—like someone just spoiled the final episode of Attack on Titan for her.
"You're welcome, sir. If you need anything else, just let me know," the waitress said before walking away.
The man sighed and leaned forward slightly. "Mira, aren't you going to drink your coffee? It's right in front of you, and you're still glued to your phone. What is it—the stock market or cat memes?"
Mira, his girlfriend of three years, barely acknowledged him. They had been together since their second year of college, but lately, something had changed. The warmth, the affection—all of it had faded over the past couple of months.
He had always supported her and loved her, but now...
He felt something was wrong. He just didn't have the courage to ask.
Finally, she looked up, placed her phone in her lap, and said, "Let's break up."
The words hit harder than a dodgeball to the face during P.E. For a few seconds, he just stared at her, his mind buffering like a 144p YouTube video on 2G. "What?"
His voice came out louder than he intended, and he instinctively leaned forward over the table.
"Lower your voice, will you?" she said. "I want to end this relationship," this time not even bothering to look at him as she picked up her phone again.
"But why?" the man asked, his voice filled with desperation.
"Did I do something wrong? Everything was fine when we were in college."
"College is over," she replied flatly. "Back then, it was just fun. But I have to focus on my future now. Look at you—wasting time in cafés, obsessing over your weird hobbies. I can't tolerate it anymore."
She slid her phone into her purse, clearly ready to leave.
He let out a disbelieving laugh. "Career? What career? You don't even have a job! You haven't passed your back-paper exams for two years! You live in my apartment and use my things! If anyone's focused on their future, it's me!"
Her face flushed with embarrassment, but she quickly masked it with anger. "I'll pass that exam soon enough! But don't change the topic. I'm leaving. Don't contact me."
With that, she grabbed her purse and stormed out of the café, her heels clicking against the floor like final boss entrance music.
He watched her go, a part of him wanting to chase after her, to ask if she was serious. But deep down, he already knew the answer.
He exhaled slowly, sat back down, and finished his coffee before paying the bill.
As he stepped out of the café, memories of their relationship flooded his mind.
Was I really just a phase for her? Three years—gone, just like that.
Ring... Ring...
A phone call snapped him out of his thoughts. He glanced at the screen—an unknown number.
He hesitated for a moment before answering. "Hello?"
"Hello, sir. I'm calling from Fast Delivery. Your order has arrived at your house. Please take note."
Oh, right. I had ordered the game
"Oh, yes! Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you wait a few minutes? I'm out right now. You can leave the package on top of my main door, and I'll pay online."
"No worries, sir. Please rate my service five stars," the delivery guy said cheerfully.
"Sure, no problem." He hung up, made the payment, and rated the delivery.
Guess I'll just pull an all-nighter with the game. She's not coming back anyway... Might as well get emotionally attached to fictional characters again.
Once home, he spotted the package on his doorstep. He picked it up and examined the packaging.
"Nice, but... didn't I order a Marvel game? What is this Omniverse Nexus title on the cover? Sounds like a bootleg multiverse sold next to fake Pokémon cards."
Frowning, he pulled out his phone and dialed the last number. "Hello, is this the delivery guy from the 70 RDC area?"
"Yes, that's me," came a gravelly voice, deeper than before.
Something about it felt... off."I think there's been a mistake. This isn't what I ordered. I think you delivered the wrong item."
The voice on the other end chuckled."Haha... I've never delivered the wrong item in my life. Just try the game first—you'll get your answer."
Then the line went dead.
His grip tightened around his phone. Do I have 'NPC energy' written on my forehead or what? First Mira, now this mysterious delivery guy—was it 'Clown Me Day,' and nobody told me?
Annoyed, he tried to file a complaint through the app, only to find that the order had vanished from his history.
He refreshed the page. Nothing. It was like the delivery had never even happened.
"What the hell? Is the app glitching?" He let out a frustrated sigh and decided to let it go for now. Heading inside, he took a quick shower, hoping to clear his mind.
As he got dressed, his eyes landed on the game CD. Might as well give it a shot. If it's good, I won't need to return it. If it sucks, I'll just trauma dump on Reddit.
He inserted the disc into his console and selected the game icon. As soon as he clicked it, the screen went pitch black.
Then, golden text appeared—ancient yet strangely familiar. He had never seen this language before, yet somehow, he understood it perfectly.
'Mr. Mayukh, you have been chosen by the higher beings as a savior, tasked with balancing the fictional worlds you have read and watched throughout your life.'
Mayukh's breath caught. "What... the hell?"
Is this some kind of prank? Hidden cameras? Am I in a MrBeast challenge gone wrong? He glanced around, heart pounding.
Maybe it's an AI gimmick. But… why does it feel like it's looking at me?
More text emerged:'This is not a prank. This is not a game. The world you are about to enter is as real as your own. Please help us. Do not fear—we will assist you in ways you know better than us.'
His hands tightened around the controller. "Alright, this is getting weird." He pressed a button, trying to skip the text, but nothing happened.
More words appeared instead:
Mr. Mayukh, we need your help. The worlds you humans have loved so deeply have come into existence and materialized across time and space. However, we, as their creators, can't interfere with their creation. ONLY HUMANS OR XXXXXXX CAN.
His mind reeled. Fictional worlds... have become real? And they need me?
This was no joke, especially since the last sentence radiated an aura that felt as vast as infinity.
He took a deep breath and looked at the screen again, trying to comprehend the situation. He exhaled shakily.
"Alright... But why me?"
The screen remained blank for a moment.
'--------'
"So you can't tell me? Great. Just a typical cliché protagonist starter pack. What's next? Tragic backstory DLC?" did I raise a flag?
'There is no time. Your soul will now be reincarnated into a new body within the new world. To help you survive, we will grant you a system infused with the power of all higher beings. Your strength will grow gradually to avoid suspicion. PLEASE BRACE YOURSELF. THIS WILL HURT.'
Before he could react, the black screen turned blinding white, swallowing him whole.
"Wait, wait—at least tell me which wor—!"
His voice cut off as his consciousness faded into the void.

**Author Note**
THIS IS MY FIRST NOVEL/FANFIC
First of all, English isn't my native language, so please bear with my grammar and any mistakes. Keep suggesting ideas to me, and if I like them, I will comment that I will add them. But before giving ideas, please read the introduction arc of this novel.
**The main world in which the main character (MC) will reincarnate is Marvel, but he also has the option to save other worlds or simply enjoy them—it's up to him.**
As for Marvel, I am considering following the movie plot, but the strength of the characters will be more powerful than in the movies, yet weaker than in the comics.
As you know, comic versions are often overpowered; sometimes they fight gods, and other times, they struggle to fight street thugs. However, neither the MC nor the other characters will start at their peak strength. They will need to put in effort to grow stronger with their powers
.
The arc in Marvel will progress like this, and in between, the MC will also travel to other worlds:
FANTASTIC FOUR > X-MEN> IRON MAN > X-MEN > SPIDERMAN > HULK > THOR AND SO ON.... might change not fixed yet
