Pamela's POV
The fight had changed from a battle to complete destruction.
The huge wolves I had brought here tore through Ray's fighters as easily as knives through paper. Their cries spread loudly through the night, sounding scary and final, like a sound that stays with you forever. Everywhere I looked, Ray's fighters were falling down, crushed by my power.
Ray's number of fighters, his rule-breakers, his big groups of allies none of that mattered anymore.
I walked forward, stepping slowly and carefully. The area around me opened up as if the ground itself knew what I had become. My brothers stayed near me like shadows, but they stopped when I raised my hand.
"Leave him alone," I said.
The wolves stayed close but listened to me. And just like that, Ray was standing all by himself in the middle of the disaster.
A rogue, tired and bloodied all round. Who had thought?
