Amarok's POV
The fight was done, Ray was exiled out, and Pamela was made Luna. Because of all this, the pack should have been at peace again. But as time went on, I could not get rid of the bad feeling that was eating at me.
Pamela, my sister, was not the same.
At first, I tried to tell myself it was just because of her big new job. War can change people. Being Luna changes people. Maybe her sharp tone and cold look were just what being a leader meant.
But no matter how hard I tried to make myself believe it, I knew deep down it wasn't true: this was not the Pamela I knew.
The sister I grew up with was stubborn and could get angry quickly, but she was kind. She had a gentle side that always came out, even when she tried not to show it. The woman now sitting as Luna did not have any kindness. Her eyes were just hard.
