Amarok's POV
The truth, as painful as it could be felt like it was burning me up inside.
I had struggled with it all night. All the things I had heard said outside Pamela's room. Odd words, words that my sister would never say. She had cursed Ray, talked about dying, being reborn, and getting revenge. And then that name… Asena.
The name I had heard Ray call her that name. I had also ignored it.
I couldn't just ignore it anymore.
At sunrise, I went to find Denise. He was in the training area as usual.
He never seemed to be too far from a battle, whether it's on the battlefield or on the training grounds, he was always fighting.
This time fighting two warriors at the same time, he looked like he was on the losing end, sweat running down his face, but he soon changed the odds and flipped one over his shoulder and the other outside the ring.
When I called his name, he let them go with a wave, wiping his face as he came over to me.
