Pamela's POV
The area where the fight took place was silence, except for sounds showing we had won.
My fighters lifted their heads and howled loudly toward the morning sky. The sounds of winning shook the ground, like a pack singing about getting even. The sun slowly rose higher, and its light spread over the area, showing the destruction left behind. Blood was all over the rocks, smoke slowly rose from destroyed homes, and dead bodies were still among the broken pieces.
My brothers and the rest of the pack, were rounding up what was remaining of Ray's pack. They had earlier rounded up the women and children In a warehouse far from the battle, as instructed by me. And they were now making sure no one was hurt in the warehouse.
In the middle of all this sat Ray and me. Alone n his wall of defeat.
