"From this moment on, let the world feel pain!"
"Shinra Tensei!"
The orange-haired man suspended in mid-air let out a low roar, and a dazzling light flashed at the center of Hidden Leaf Village, akin to a massive object plummeting into a serene lake. The buildings of Hidden Leaf Village were reduced to rubble before their very eyes.
Within half a minute, the vast Hidden Leaf Village had transformed into a desolate wasteland of shattered walls and broken foundations.
"What... is happening?"
"This can't be real, how could anyone do something like this?"
"The power, it's too immense!"
"It's a god, that's a god!"
The villagers of Hidden Leaf who miraculously survived pushed aside the rubble covering them and stood up, only to be stunned into silence.
The village they had lived in for so many years was now nothing but ruins. Such a devastating ninjutsu was a sight many had never witnessed in their lifetimes!
Those who had just crawled out of the rubble gazed upon this scene, only to collapse again, their pupils gradually losing focus.
An attack of such magnitude was beyond human comprehension. Pain had not only destroyed a village but also shattered the confidence of most in the victory of this battle.
Hovering in mid-air, Pain of the Heavenly Path gazed down at the flattened Hidden Leaf Village, his rigid face betraying no emotion. He scanned the desolate landscape below, his gaze suddenly fixating.
Amidst the barren wasteland that was once Hidden Leaf Village, one small structure stood out like a sore thumb. For all the other buildings had been reduced to dust by his Shinra Tensei, yet this one remained unscathed, towering above the ruins.
The sign hanging above the entrance of this small building bore four bold characters: "Ichiraku Ramen"!
"Can't even enjoy a peaceful bowl of ramen, how annoying!"
A faint but eerily resonant voice emanated from within the Ichiraku Ramen stall, echoing throughout the ruins of Hidden Leaf Village.
In front of him, the owner of the ramen shop, Uncle Ichiraku, had been forced to take cover behind the ramen counter due to the shockwave. Upon hearing that faint voice of annoyance, he cautiously peeked out.
Looking at the young man seated in front of him, Uncle Ichiraku's face contorted in surprise. Despite the shockwave, he hadn't felt a thing, yet the deafening noise that echoed in his ears confirmed its reality.
Uncle Ichiraku was just an ordinary man, not even a ninja, so naturally, he couldn't have withstood such a powerful impact. That left only one possibility: the young man in front of him had just withstood the shockwave!
"Customer, are you... alright?"
Miss Ayame, Uncle Ichiraku's daughter, inquired anxiously of the young man.
Han Yu gazed at the dust-covered ramen in front of him, let out a gentle sigh, and pulled a few coins from his pocket, arranging them neatly on the table. A faint smile played across his handsome face.
"Excuse me, could you please cook me another bowl of ramen? I'll be right back."
Without waiting for Uncle Ichiraku or Miss Ayame's reply, Han Yu stood up and strode outside.
"This d*mn system, couldn't it have transported me here earlier? Is it too much to ask for a peaceful bowl of ramen? Someone had to ruin it?" Han Yu muttered to himself. When he arrived in the Naruto world for this mission, the first thing he thought of wasn't how to complete it but rather finding a ramen shop.
Naruto Uzumaki had eaten ramen for most of his life, and Han Yu was extremely curious about its taste. That's why he immediately sought out this particular shop.
Little did he know that his arrival would coincide with one of the biggest events in Hidden Leaf Village's history—the invasion of the Six Paths of Pain.
He hadn't even taken a single bite of his piping hot ramen when it was covered in dust, leaving him seething with frustration.
His sudden appearance drew the attention of many. Han Yu ignored the stares and lifted his gaze to the divine-like figure of Pain of the Heavenly Path, bathed in the sunlight, a faint annoyance creeping onto his handsome features.
In his previous life, as a super enthusiast for movies, manga, and anime, Han Yu had a deep love for Naruto. Pain of the Six Paths had not only killed his favorite character, Jiraiya, but had also single-handedly destroyed Hidden Leaf Village.
"This was my youth! How dare you destroy it so easily!" Han Yu thought to himself. Looking around, he realized that the familiar golden spiky-haired ninja was nowhere to be found. It seemed that only he could stop the destruction now.
"Hmmph, daring to disturb my ramen-eating, you're asking for it!"
Han Yu, who was standing on the ground, suddenly vanished into thin air.
"What incredible speed! It must rival that of Minato and the Fourth Raikage!" exclaimed Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage of Hidden Leaf Village, unable to contain her surprise.
The "Minato" and "Fourth Raikage" she mentioned were renowned for their unparalleled speed in the ninja world—Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage of Hidden Leaf, and A, the Fourth Raikage of Hidden Cloud.
In the sky, Pain of the Six Paths noticed Han Yu's disappearance and frantically searched for him on the ground. Just then, a teasing voice echoed behind him.
"How many floors does it take to carry a bag of rice?"
As Pain barely managed to turn his head, he felt a tremendous force slam into his back. Like a meteor, he plummeted from the sky, crashing into the already devastated Hidden Leaf Village, inflicting a second devastating blow.
Han Yu awkwardly scratched his head, realizing that the impact had been more powerful than he anticipated. Fortunately, the damage was localized, and he had only sunk into the ground a bit.
With his hands in his pockets, Han Yu casually landed in front of the stunned onlookers, brushing off some dust from his clothes. He gazed at the deep crater where Pain lay, struggling to stand. The intricate web of cracks radiating from the impact spoke volumes about the power of Han Yu's punch.
"Hey, Fifth Hokage, let's make a deal. I'll take care of this guy for you, and you give me a few things in return."
Instead of continuing his attack, Han Yu turned to address Tsunade.
Tsunade, having emerged from the rubble and keeping a safe distance from Han Yu, scrutinized him. There was nothing particularly intimidating about Han Yu's appearance, and his smiling face exuded a refreshing aura.
It was hard to imagine that this man was the one who had effortlessly sent Pain flying, who had just destroyed Hidden Leaf Village.
"Who are you? And what do you want?" Tsunade asked, maintaining her guard. She gathered her remaining chakra in her limbs, ready to attack or retreat at a moment's notice.
The youth in front of her possessed eerie abilities.
Incredibly powerful!
"Who I am is not important. What I want from you is..."
"Your Yin Seal and Byakugou Technique!"
Gasps echoed throughout the crowd. Could you not leave us hanging like that?
Without the second half of the sentence, they might have thought Han Yu had some strange intentions, which, in fact, they were not far from.
"What should I do? Should I agree to his demands?" Tsunade frowned, deep in thought. The current situation left her with few options.
"This Pain is clearly beyond our capabilities. This man, however, seems to have him under control. He might be our best bet right now, considering Naruto's uncertain return. But he wants my Yin Seal and Byakugou Technique, which are not things to be given lightly."
Tsunade tried to gather chakra for a fight, but having already distributed most of it to her summon, Katsuyu, to protect the villagers, she was now left with barely enough to match the strength of an average Jonin.
Fighting Han Yu with her current power would be a futile endeavor.
Observing Tsunade's ever-changing expression, Han Yu didn't press for an answer immediately. Instead, he hummed an unfamiliar tune, waiting comfortably for her response.
Suddenly, Han Yu's leisurely demeanor turned fierce, and he barked at Pain, who was attempting to get up and give Han Yu a headbutt.
"I didn't say you could move!"
With a snort, Pain felt as if an invisible mountain was crushing down on him. The surrounding earth erupted, and he sank deeper into the ground, unable to move.
Tsunade's mouth gaped slightly, her expression now beyond mere surprise.
"With just a few words, he's rendered Pain helpless. Who is this man?"
