Jasper Vance walked over with a confrontational attitude, and Tessa instinctively looked at Faye across the table. His eyes were calm, devoid of surprise, and his composed demeanor made Tessa wonder if Faye had come here to dine just to deliberately encounter Jasper Vance.
But that seemed unlikely; he was just very self-controlled.
A commendable quality she should learn from, so she arrogantly glanced at Jasper Vance and said, "Who are you?"
Jasper Vance rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things, and once confirmed it indeed was Tessa, his expression turned even darker: "Tessa, I am your future husband."
Tessa replied politely but bluntly, "Sorry, I'm already married. The one sitting across from me is my husband."
With that, she winked charmingly at Faye, sending an irresistible wave of attraction. Faye, uncharacteristically, smiled back at her. The smile didn't fully bloom, resembling a budding flower, yet was more dazzlingly beautiful than full-open blossoms.
"You..." Jasper Vance seethed with anger but was interrupted as someone entered the restaurant.
He couldn't bother to argue further with Tessa, saying, "I'll deal with you later," before turning away to greet the newcomer, "Young Master Holloway."
Tessa couldn't help but spit at his flattering behavior.
The man referred to as Young Master Holloway was Elliot Holloway. When he looked at Jasper Vance, he also noticed the table where Jasper had stood moments ago and saw the man at the table, his pupils contracted, eyes flashing with intrigue.
He stared at Faye and opened his mouth, seemingly wanting to call out, but was met with a cold glare from Faye.
That glare was astonishingly sharp, carrying a warning.
Startled, he immediately shut his mouth and diverted his gaze, continuing to walk forward, unfazed by Jasper Vance's greeting.
As he passed by Tessa's table, his ears perked up, overhearing Faye calmly say to the woman sitting opposite him, "I'm not eating anymore, I'm going to the restroom."
"Not eating? Didn't you just say you were hungry and ordered so much? Do you know it's shameful to waste food?" the girl murmured complainingly at Faye.
Elliot Holloway glanced over indifferently, noticing Faye actually moved all his ordered food in front of that girl.
He was shocked.
Elliot Holloway followed Jasper Vance to the designated private room, suddenly halting and saying indifferently to Jasper Vance, "You go in first, I'm going to the restroom."
Without even looking at him, he turned away and left.
Jasper Vance followed behind, nodding obsequiously, "Second Young Master Holloway, I'll lead you."
Elliot Holloway stopped abruptly and shot him a cold look, "Don't follow me."
Jasper Vance's face stiffened slightly, feeling a bit uncomfortable inside but showing none of it, obediently replying from behind, "Okay, I'll go ahead and arrange the room."
When Elliot Holloway reached the restroom, Faye was at the grooming counter, bending over to wash his hands.
Once Faye finished washing his hands, he quickly pulled out two sheets of paper and handed them to Faye to dry his hands with, "Mr. Chuck."
Faye glanced at him casually, took the paper, and slowly dried his hands while squinting at Elliot Holloway in the mirror, speaking, "Didn't expect to meet you here, I remember you."
These words made Elliot Holloway breathe a sigh of relief, along with a hint of excitement.
He truly hadn't expected to meet Mr. Chuck here, and moreover, that Chuck remembered him.
