Tessa chewed a couple of times, even deliberately licked her lips, a look of savoring on her face, and said, "Delicious! Very delicious! Extremely delicious! Absolutely delicious!"
Upon hearing this, Faye raised an eyebrow and smiled with an unknown meaning.
It was very devilish and enticing, Tessa happened to see it and felt goosebumps rising all over.
She tried to cover it up, lowered her head, and continued eating her salad, while deliberately saying, "Delicious, so delicious..."
"Then I'll give it a try too." Faye reached for Tessa's plate with his own fork.
But Tessa blocked him: "No way!"
He ordered so much, yet he still tried to take her only salad, it was simply infuriating to the point of outrage, utterly unforgivable.
She glared at him fiercely: "Mine! You can't fight me for it."
Faye withdrew his hand, looking at her with an expression full of meaning.
Like claiming her territory, Tessa encircled the salad plate with one hand, while holding the fork with the other, stabbed a small piece of apple, and prepared to put it in her mouth.
But, just as the apple was two centimeters away from her mouth, Faye suddenly leaned in.
Tessa's eyes widened in shock, was Faye going to kiss her, or... kiss her...
Faye chuckled, opened his mouth, and bit off the apple next to Tessa's lips.
He backed away, but the overwhelming hot breath still lingered.
Tessa was left in a state of arrest.
"What's the matter? Disappointed I didn't kiss you?" Faye leisurely ate the apple, glancing at her teasingly.
Still in a state of brain fog, Tessa, with a dumbfounded face, instinctively responded, "A little..."
