Chapter 26 - Chapter 27: Husband's True Identity (Part 7)

After registering with Faye, Tessa Caldwell didn't really feel like she was truly married, but at this moment, it really felt like she was marrying this man, and spending her life with him.

She looked at her raised finger, the crystal's brilliance made her eyes sparkle.

"Do you like it?" Faye asked her softly from the side.

"Love it, absolutely love it!" Tessa vigorously nodded her head.

"Checkout!"

When Faye called out, Tessa wanted to check the price, but found that this ring didn't have a price tag, and it was the only ring in the cabinet, so estimating was impossible.

Just as Tessa was about to ask the attendant for the price, the attendant had already taken Faye's card and walked to the cashier.

"How much?" Tessa leaned close to Faye, asking in a whisper.

This crystal looked good, and if it's really expensive, she didn't want Faye to spend that money.

Faye replied lightly, "Six hundred."

Tessa was surprised, "Wow, only six hundred bucks? Wait, six hundred for a piece of crystal is really expensive, but it didn't bleed you dry, so I'll accept it. This crystal is really beautiful, bigger than the pigeon eggs those celebrities wear, and even better looking, so dazzling that if I say it's a pink diamond, no one would doubt it."

She fiddled with the ring on her hand, suddenly noticing some kind of indentation inside the ring, and took it off to have a closer look.

She found several English letters engraved on the inner circle of the ring.

She looked closely and read them aloud, "C, h, u, c, k... Chuck."

Faye, who had been looking elsewhere, abruptly turned his head, his gaze fixed on Tessa, his eyes deep, carrying something hidden and suppressed, very complex.

Tessa was surprised, "Ah, I remember now!"

Faye pressed his lips together, then suddenly closed his eyes.

"It's Chuck, the main character from Gossip Girl, and the female lead Blair! I used to be a fan of this couple, that's why it's so familiar!" Tessa was a bit surprised, a bit excited, "How strange, this ring actually has his name on it."

Faye opened his eyes, his gaze like obsidian, with a subtle smile flickering, "I'll go to the cashier, you wait outside."

"Ah... I'll go with you." Tessa hesitated for a moment, then followed him.

Faye suddenly turned, stretched his long arm, and caught Tessa's waist.

Tessa immediately lost control and was pressed against Faye's chest, she was stunned, while he looked down at her, his voice low and husky, gently saying, "Be good, wait for me outside."

Such a seductive action, such a charming voice, Tessa's mind blanked for a few seconds, then she screamed in her head: Ahhhh!

What the heck, if you want me to wait outside then I'll go wait outside! Why the sudden embrace, in broad daylight.

Oh my gosh, how would the other people in the shop see the two of them.

This must be intentional, intentionally making her embarrassed.

Tessa sprang off like a spring, pushing him away fiercely, "Alright, I got it!"

She glanced secretly around, luckily, at this time it wasn't busy, the shop had no other customers, only that salesgirl from before, who was busy with the payment, having no time to pay attention to the two of them.

Otherwise, the embarrassment would have been enormous.
