Chapter 22 - Chapter 23: Husband's True Identity (Part 3)

When Faye returned to the dining table, Tessa had already devoured all the food at lightning speed.

At this moment, she was leaning against the chair, playing with her phone. She saw Faye return and sat back in her seat.

Her eyes shifted slightly as she leaned on the table, fiddling with her phone, and frowned, "Hey, aren't you a model? But why is there no information about you online? Logically, the fashion and entertainment circles are quite similar. How could there be no news at all? I suspect you're a fraud; you're not a model at all."

Saying this, her eyes were full of doubt, "You wouldn't be a gigolo, would you!"

Faye lazily swept her gaze over, "Don't you know that some models and celebrities use stage names? Faye is my real name, but not my work name."

Tessa was momentarily speechless and quite shocked, "You have a stage name? Tell me, what's your stage name?"

Faye replied coolly, "Why should I tell you?"

Tessa pouted, "Tch, why act all mysterious? If I want to know, I'll find out sooner or later..." Her eyes sparkled mischievously as she started probing, "By the way, what's your Weibo handle? Let's follow each other and interact when we have time, help me gain a few more followers."

If she followed his Weibo, she would surely find out his stage name.

However, Faye didn't say a word, and just as Tessa was about to lose her temper, she saw the man Jasper Vance went to greet earlier come out quickly, with Jasper nervously following behind.

Tessa was extremely curious and craned her neck to look outside.

Only to see Jasper Vance looking exceedingly worried, sweating on his forehead, with veins faintly bulging on his forehead, flustered and panicked as he followed behind Elliot Holloway, cautiously explaining, "Young Master Holloway, listen to me... It's a misunderstanding, truly a misunderstanding."

Elliot Holloway spoke coldly, "Whether it's a misunderstanding isn't the point for me. The point is that the Vance Group has no sincerity about the collaboration between the two companies and just wants to use Holloway Group as a stepping stone. How could Holloway Group possibly collaborate with you under such circumstances?"

After saying this, Elliot Holloway quickened his pace, and as he passed by Faye's table, he caught sight of the nosy Tessa, while Faye sipped water, in a world of her own, completely undisturbed by external disruptions.

At this moment, Jasper Vance couldn't care less about Tessa.

The Vance Group held the collaboration between the two companies in high regard and could not afford to mess it up.

He caught up, pleading, "Young Master Holloway, please give us one more chance, just one. I beg you. I promise this will never happen again..."

Elliot Holloway ignored him completely and walked straight out.

Jasper Vance wanted to follow but was stopped by the cashier since he hadn't paid yet.

"Damn it, do you think I can't afford your bill?" Jasper Vance unleashed all his anger on the restaurant's cashier.

The cashier let him rant, maintaining polite courtesy, took his credit card, and went to the register to settle the bill.

Tessa watched and couldn't help but giggle.

She glanced at Faye across from her, Faye's dark eyes narrowed slightly, then curved into a smile.

Tessa, gloating and showing no sympathy, chuckled mischievously, "Serves him right. It's so satisfying to see a jerk get his comeuppance."

Jasper Vance was already filled with fury, cursing the cashier a few times couldn't relieve his anger. Seeing Tessa dare to laugh at him made him furious with embarrassment.
