Chapter 1 - The Stolen Blueprint

In Patna, the capital of Bihar, stood one of the country's most ambitious scientific centers — the Patna Research Institute of Science.

The institute was bustling with activity that morning.

Students walked through the wide corridors on guided tours. Researchers moved quickly between laboratories, carrying files and equipment. Some scientists had dark circles under their eyes, their dedication obvious. They worked like farmers ploughing fields under the harsh sun — relentless, patient, and determined.

Science, after all, demanded sacrifice everything you desire never come without the sacrifices it's the harsh reality of the world.

At the far end corner of the institute stood a quiet office.

Office of Dr. Vedant.

Dr. Vedant was known among the scientific community as a man obsessed with discovery he was also Nobel prize winner. For twelve years he had chased a single idea — sleeping barely three hours a night, surviving on coffee and stubborn determination.

But right now, he wasn't there.

The office door creaked open.

A man dressed completely in black stepped inside.

His footsteps were silent.

The room was spotless, unnaturally neat. The faint smell of fresh paper and cleaning solution lingered in the air, as if the office had been organized only minutes ago.

A few documents lay scattered on the table.

The man's eyes moved calmly across the room.

He walked toward the desk and began opening drawers.

Locked.

He reached into his coat and pulled out a thin metal tool.

Click.

One drawer opened.

Click.

Another.

His movements were precise, practiced.

He was searching for something specific.

Then—

The door suddenly swung open.

A young woman stood there, frozen in shock.

She was Dr. Vedant's assistant.

Her eyes widened.

"W–who are you?! A th—"

Her words stopped.

She suddenly gasped.

Her body lifted slightly from the ground.

No one was touching her.

Her throat tightened as if an invisible hand had wrapped around her neck.

The man in black didn't even turn toward her.

His eyes remained on the drawer.

The assistant clawed at the air, struggling to breathe.

Then—

Crack.

Her body dropped to the floor.

Silent.

Still.

The man calmly pulled a folder from the drawer.

Inside it were several sheets of paper.

Complex diagrams.

Equations.

Engineering schematics.

A single title printed across the top page.

Project — [REDACTED]

These blueprints were the result of twelve years of work.

Twelve years of sleepless nights.

Twelve years of obsession.

And now…

They were gone.

The man in black placed the blueprints inside his coat and walked toward the door.

Behind him, the assistant's lifeless body lay on the floor.

The silent office of Dr. Vedant had just become the scene of a crime that would soon shake the entire institute.

And perhaps…

The world.
