I was at the lab's cafeteria, taking a drink and just staring at my phone screen until we heard over the speakers for everyone to assemble in the hall, but before I could even do anything, SLAM! I looked up to see Nova had slammed on the table where I was sitting, her head down and panting like she had been running for minutes "Nova! What's your problem!" I shouted as I realized when she banged my drink slipped from my hand and dropped on the table causing it to spill everywhere, she looked up at me and then the drink before standing properly, she took in a deep breath before placing her hands on the table again and leaning towards me while standing "did you hear the news!" she said with excitement in her voice "err…no, what news?" I asked cause I've been in the cafeteria since this morning "of course you haven't" she then stood back up and walked towards me and grabbed my hand, I was confused cause everything was happening so fast "then let's go you dummy" as she said that she dragged me out of my chair and before we knew it we were running in the halls 'how did I end up here' I thought as we continued running "Nova what news?" cause I still didn't understand anything "you mean you haven't heard it Noah?" she said and suddenly stopped running and I used the opportunity to drag my hand away from her grasp and looked at her "haven't you heard" her tone sounding like the time moments ago when she was excited "heard what?" she sighed at my question before answering "Ash is back" she said this time jumping up and down, I used my finger to clean my ear making sure I didn't possible hear wrongly "eeh please repeat that" she must have noticed my actions and think I was disbelieving so she coughed as if she was trying to be more clear "I said that…" she stopped talking and walked towards me "Ash is back!" I had to take time to process what I heard and before I knew it, I grabbed Nova's hand, and I was the one now dragging her to come along "Hey! Noah let go of me!", she tried removing her hand from my grasp "We can't slow down!, maybe that's why the called us to the main hall and I bet others are on their way too" and my words were right cause as we were headed for the main hall other people were headed there as well.
Nova finally was able to remove her hand from my grip "Oh my God!, Noah, can you learn to stop running so fast cause unlike you, I'm short with short legs" I turned back to see her rubbing her wrist where I had grabbed her with her other hand. We were currently close to the main hall entrance, so I looked back at her, "What are you--" before she could finish her statement, I ran off, leaving her behind "Hey! wait for me!" she shouted, but I didn't have the time to.
