Bonus Chapter [1] - 80 Power Stones
Looking at those gleaming coins, Rigel felt a slight urge to pick one up, but the urge wasn't strong, his occlumency easily ignored it.
He thought for a moment and summoned Diabolus again, the spectral serpent needed no explanation, it grew several meters and immediately swallowed the chest inside it.
Rigel trembled all over, falling to his knees, his face turning pale again, cold sweat pouring from his pores. "Damn it!"
Jack looked worried, shouting into his shoulder. "Master, are you alright?"
Diabolus wasn't having any fun either, writhing continuously, the golden chest inside it constantly releasing black smoke, Rigel heard the cries of souls filled with pain and torment.
The group around him also turned pale, moving away as far as they could. It took several minutes for the black mist to stop leaking, and Rigel had already drunk a stamina potion to recover, yet he still felt overwhelmed, he really wanted to sleep now.
Fortunately, his gamble had paid off, he felt he could achieve something by dealing with the Aztec curse, and just as he had hoped, the Adventure Book snapped open again.
[Congratulations, Writer, for breaking the Aztec gold curse and receiving the "Curse Breaker - Aztec Gold" achievement]
[Congratulations on receiving: "Aztec Rune (Gold)"]
[Aztec Rune (Gold)]
[Type: Magic Tattoo (Can be hidden)]
[Effect 1: Zombie Lord -> Can transform corpses into zombies and command them, if the zombies already have a master, you can fight for control against him through your magic.(These zombies have low intelligence and can only follow simple orders, they also cannot transform others into zombies through infection.)]
[Effect 2: Last Breath -> Once a month, you can ignore fatal damage, healing you until full regeneration.]
[The writer can decide where to place the rune and even its size, they can keep it hidden or in plain sight, but when you use its power, it will surely appear, you can also choose to donate it to someone else.]
Rigel blinked as he stood up, catching his breath and reading the rune's effect. He smiled, even if it was only once a month, being able to ignore certain death was truly a gift. As for creating and controlling zombies? More or less, but seeing the large number of corpses around him, he became thoughtful. Perhaps he could imitate Blackbeard and "hire" zombies.
Of course, that was just a fleeting idea, he felt he really couldn't handle the smell of corpses everywhere, so he quickly abandoned the idea.
He looked away from the book and thought for a moment before deciding to get the tattoo on his right shoulder.
As soon as he made his decision, he felt a chill run down his skin in the chosen area. Lifting the hem of his shirt, he looked at the black tattoo in the previously smooth spot, it looked perfectly like the image on Aztec coins, the skull in the center emitting a somber air.
With a thought, the tattoo slowly faded, revealing smooth skin once more.
Rigel looked around at the wealth, including the Aztec coins, and felt satisfied. Now he wouldn't have to wait all year to buy what he wanted, he just needed to find a way to convert it into galleons.
Unfortunately, he didn't know any spell to pull everything into his bag at once, but turning his gaze back to the corpses around him, he smiled again.

Outside, Jack had already been released from his duty and recovered the pearl, feeling much better. He and his small crew were ready to sail away, but the snake still around his neck reminded him that he was not yet completely free.
Rigel asked him to wait for him, so he, the rest of the pirates, as well as Elizabeth, Will, and Gibbs boarded the Pearl again. Gibbs was the only one who decided to follow him, the others chose to remain with Rigel.
The pirates were not satisfied with getting nothing, but inside his clothes, Jack had the promised gold, very happy, not that he was going to tell any of them, Gibbs also had a smile on his face.
"Captain! We'd better leave soon!" Gibbs suggested, now that neither of them were connected to the Interceptor's crew anymore, their pirate habits had returned.
"Gibbs, I'm a man of honor! Don't say that again." Jack said, feigning seriousness and authority. Unfortunately, Gibbs knew him well and looked at him as if he were crazy.
Jack's lips trembled and he lifted his shirt slightly, revealing what was underneath.
Gibbs turned white with fear and quickly changed his words. "You're right, Captain, let's wait patiently!"
"No need to wait long, I'm already here;" Rigel said, climbing onto the pearl using a rope.
He spent some time letting the zombies he created collect the gold, jewels, and anything else of value from the cave, after that, he destroyed all the zombies with the Diabolus.
The fact is that these zombies, just as he expected, smelled very bad, so he got rid of them.
Rigel boarded the Pearl with curiosity, he wanted to go aboard that ship at least once, after all, it was the famous Black Pearl, and he would regret it if he didn't take a look.
However, as soon as he stepped onto the deck, his eyes widened in surprise again, he truly believed that Isla de Muerta was his lucky place. Here he had already achieved two achievements and a monkey, which, incidentally, was still on his shoulder, although Salazar was clearly unhappy about it.
[Congratulations, writer, on discovering a new serial achievement: (All aboard! - Black Pearl)]
[Achievement unlocked: All Aboard! (Bronze)]
[How to acquire: Board the most famous pirate ships in Pirates of the Caribbean! By boarding legendary ships, you can upgrade this skill level.]
[Reward: Figurehead (Bronze)]
[Type: Bound Equipment - Ship (Only obeys the Writer and can only be attached to a ship.)]
[Note: The figurehead form can be freely adjusted its appearance when first attached.]
[Effect: Live ship -> When placed on a ship, it gains a life loyal to the Writer, the figurehead can move slightly.]
[To upgrade the Figurehead to (Silver) you need to board one of the other 3 legendary ships, they are: Flying Dutchman, Queen Anne's Revenge and Silent Mary, good luck, Writer.]
[Note: Once bound to a ship, the target ship cannot be changed. If the ship is destroyed beyond repair, the spirit of the Figurehead dies. furthermore, even after being attached to a ship, the Figurehead can still be upgraded, so don't worry, writer.]
Rigel carefully read the information, feeling that this reward was so-so. To be more direct, aside from being able to move a little, this thing was useless, but thinking about it, it was only a Bronze reward, this was the first Bronze-level reward he had ever earned.
He hoped that by upgrading this Figurehead he would receive better surprises, but for now he had no plans to put it to use.
