Chapter 35 - Chap.34 - 'The Blacksmith and the Lady'

Capítulo Bônus [6] - 480 Pedras de Poder

The two ships were ready very quickly, they set sail side by side, heading in the direction indicated by the compass.

Most of the pirates wanted to go in the exact opposite direction, but Rigel helped Jack enough to fill his ship with snakes to prevent another mutiny, of course, it also served to prevent Jack from fleeing the fight.

Jack didn't know whether to thank or curse for a while.

Rigel didn't care about that, he just didn't want to have to worry about his back while dealing with Salazar.

He figured Salazar had already started attacking other ships in search of Jack, and although Rigel didn't feel bad, he still felt responsible for preventing indiscriminate killing, since the fight wasn't just against other pirates, but also against ordinary merchant ships and cargo vessels.

Rigel ignored Jack's plea to flee and went straight to the point.

William and Elizabeth followed him aboard the Interceptor, William said. "Mr. Black, although I don't mind fighting, I think we could leave Elizabeth in a safe place before the battle."

"What? No, I want to go!" Elizabeth turned to Will, her eyes filled with disapproval.

Will felt bitter again, he didn't know why Elizabeth liked this kind of pirate adventure so much! They were going to fight ghosts!

Rigel looked at Will and rolled his eyes, this guy really hadn't learned anything. His intentions were good, but Elizabeth was at a stage in her life where rebellion was flourishing, especially after their last adventure.

There was no fear in her eyes, instead, she wanted to continue, so the pair began to argue.

Rigel shrugged, his balls hadn't even descended yet. He didn't want to participate in this couple's argument, so he slipped away quietly.

[A/N: I laughed a lot when I wrote the last paragraph, I hope you did too.]

The Pearl's speed was so great that it could easily overtake the interceptor, but unfortunately for Jack, the pirate hat was doing its job.

The Interceptor was not only keeping up, but also leading!

The wind flowed with a gentle breeze, carrying them over the waves. Anamaria took the helm while the pirates worked on deck, cleaning and piloting the ship.

Pintel and Ragetti were scrubbing the floor, trying to be helpful.

Rigel didn't need any of this, he could clear that ship in no time with a wave of his wand, but it was better to let those guys have something to do.

Elizabeth approached Rigel, her face a mixture of fury and excitement. "Captain, I want to come aboard your ship!"

"What?! What are you saying, Elizabeth?!" Will approached quickly, shocked.

"What does that have to do with you! I want to be a pirate, so I'll be a pirate! It's my life!" she shouted furiously.

Rigel was torn between interest and disinterest, on the one hand, this type of situation was better than the monotony of the sea, on the other hand, it was too predictable.

It's the same old story: they like each other, have different opinions, they fight, argue, go their separate ways, get back together...

He could almost imagine the name of the romance, 'The Blacksmith and the Lady'.

Jack, the monkey, standing nearby, chewing on a mango atop a barrel, stared at it all, just as bored as Rigel.

Finally, Rigel grew tired of it and spoke. "Enough! Welcome aboard, Miss Swann."

Elizabeth looked at him, smiling brightly, while Will paled. The next moment, Rigel felt the hat's power over Elizabeth.

"In that case, I'll enlist too! Captain Rigel!" Will took a second to realize that between Rigel's indifference and Elizabeth's 'madness', he could only lower his head for now.

"Of course, welcome aboard too, William. Now, you'll have your couple's drama somewhere else." Rigel waved his hand, as if shooing away flies. Jack, who had just eaten the mango, threw away the peel and pit, then imitated Rigel's gesture, sending the couple away.

Rigel saw the monkey covered in mango juice and pursed his lips, pointing his wand at it to wipe it off.

Jack seemed to enjoy being clean, but this greatly annoyed Rigel, he had cleaned that monkey more than 10 times today! It seemed like that guy repeatedly found ways to get dirty!

Jumping into a bucket of dirty water, fighting with snakes over rats, eating like a beggar... Rigel decided that when he returned, he would let Kreacher teach the monkey how to keep himself clean! At the very least, the job of cleaning him would be Kreacher's.

Damn it, he didn't even know why the idiot monkey wanted the rats, he didn't even want to eat them, he was just hyperactive!

Shaking his head, he ignored the little thing and turned his gaze to the horizon.

"Captain, if we keep advancing like this, the Pearl will fall behind!" Anamaria shouted from the helm.

Rigel looked back and indeed, the black pearl was already far away, shaking his head, he felt the power of the Pirate Hat and lessened the effect of the wind.

It took some time for the Pearl to catch up, Rigel increased its speed to the point where the boats could be side by side.

He could only use the hat's effect on his ships, and Jack wasn't actually his subordinate, so he couldn't increase the Pearl's speed, luckily, the Pearl wasn't slow at all.

I thought these chapters would last until the end of the week, I'm surprised they didn't.

In any case, so as not to leave the rest of the week without anything, I can release a few more bonus chapters, but these will double the previous Power Stones value, that is, 160 for each. (I hope this way I can breathe a little, lmao.)

I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for reading.
