Chapter 25 - Answering some questions.(This is not a chapter)

Some questions have been recurring these days, and I decided to explain a few.

First, regarding magical items, Rigel can take magical items and even companions on his adventures, such as animals and people, as long as he can carry them.

Unfortunately, the reverse doesn't work, to bring magical items and companions, he needs a pass granted by the Book upon unlocking certain achievements.

Second, regarding units of measurement, I won't focus on that. I'll use kilograms for weight and miles for distance, and anything else needed will be adapted, not always faithful to the original material.

Pirates of the Caribbean itself has several plot holes, such as the guillotine in the film, even though it was only invented decades later.

Third, 'The nine pieces of eight' are actually nine pieces of the "Real de a Ocho".

The "Real de a Ocho", known as the Spanish dollar or "piece of eight", was a widely circulated silver coin minted by the Spanish Empire starting in 1598. It was considered the first international currency, predominating in world trade until the 19th century and serving as the basis for the American dollar.

In other words, when I say "Ocho," I'm not mispronouncing the number 8, but referring to the old Spanish coin.

Other terms in other languages, such as "Isla de Muerta" in Spanish, follow the same principle, as Jack used it that way, I didn't translate the name.

Fourth... I'm Brazilian and in Brazil, we speak Portuguese, lmao. (That's for anyone who thinks we speak Spanish.)

If you have any other questions, you can ask me here. If someone else with the same question appears, they can simply take a look at this same place.
