PROLOGUE
Jack and Kate were the rulers of Armstrong City, and Ava was their only daughter—the princess and heir to the throne. Their peaceful kingdom was soon faced with a difficult promise: Ava was to be married to Berry Pierce, the prince of Crunk City.
Tyler, a powerful and dangerous man, returned from a journey to Armstrong City. He confessed to his father, Adam, that he had fallen deeply in love with Ava and intended to marry her. Adam reminded him that Ava was already promised to Berry, but Tyler refused to accept it.
Blinded by anger, Tyler left Crunk City and secretly entered Armstrong City disguised as a traveler. He enrolled in Ava's school to get closer to her. Over time, his obsession grew stronger, and when Ava did not return his feelings, he decided to take her by force.
Tyler returned to his kingdom and convinced his father to wage war against Armstrong City. When Adam tried to stop him, Tyler killed him in a fit of rage. He also attempted to kill Berry, but Berry escaped.
The war began. It was brutal. King Jack and Queen Kate were killed, along with Estervan, who died protecting Ava.
Heartbroken, Ava fled Armstrong City with JC and her keeper, Elena. After a year on the run, Ava was left alone with JC, and together they began rebuilding their lives.
Meanwhile, Tyler continued searching for Ava, unaware that a revolution had started in Armstrong City, led secretly by Berry and supported by the people.
Eventually, Tyler found Ava in a small village and attacked, destroying everything in his path. He captured Ava and brought her back. Though he believed he had won, Ava escaped and returned to Armstrong City to join the rebellion.
On the day Tyler forced Ava into marriage, chaos broke out as the revolution began.
Before Tyler could react, Ava drew a dagger and killed him.
Weeks later, Ava was crowned Queen of Armstrong City. Berry became King of Crunk City and found love with Maxe Zyane.

CHAPTER 1
Ava stood on her balcony, holding her cat as the cool evening breeze brushed against her skin. Normally, she would enjoy the peaceful view of the city, but tonight her thoughts were heavy.
Her father was ill, and her mother was slowly falling into despair.
She sighed softly and looked down at her cat, which had fallen asleep in her arms. Carefully, she set it down and walked inside.
The door opened suddenly.
"Princess."
Ava turned, startled, then smiled softly. "Oh, there you are."
Estervan walked toward her and gently kissed her. "Your mother is waiting for you in the throne room."
"What is it about?" she asked, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Something concerning Crunk City. Prince Berry has arrived."
Ava sighed. "I almost forgot…"
She placed a quick kiss on his cheek and left the room.
Ava was the only heir to Armstrong City, a kingdom ruled by her family for generations. Because of this, she was expected to marry a noble—specifically, Prince Berry—to strengthen alliances.
But her heart belonged to someone else.
Estervan.
The throne room was filled with nobles, servants, and guards. The atmosphere was tense.
As Ava entered, silence fell.
Her parents stood ahead, watching her with heavy expressions. Beside them stood Adam Pierce and his son, Berry.
Berry stepped forward and knelt.
"Ava… I have loved you for a long time. This is the right moment. Will you marry me?"
Ava froze, shocked.
"Berry… what are you saying?"
"It is the will of both our parents," he replied calmly. "This union will strengthen our kingdoms."
The room remained silent as everyone watched.

"No. I will decide who I marry."
