Loran and Geia finally arrived at the dock, as they saw many fishermen retrieving boat rentals, and they were waiting for the retriever of their rental. A guy with an eyepatch came and greeted them. "Hey, you guys are the ones who rented, right? Good thing you waited for me, a duo didn't, and I had to check and sort things out."
"Yeah, but can we leave? We're in a hurry right now," Loran asked, as the man nodded. "Yeah, you can. I'm just asking for confirmation, the Uea is just straight ahead," the man said.
"How did you know we'll go to the Uea?" Geia questioned as the man chuckled. "I mean, it's obvious."
The man scratched the back of his head as Loran and Geia just nodded and headed out to the Uea entrance. "I'm excited, excited for this." Loran's eyes were filled with sparkles as they saw the huge building in front of them, and the entrance had guards with glowing silver armor, a blue symbol on their knee.
The guards immediately opened the gate as Loran and Geia entered. Loran immediately was filled with the same fragrance and the same-smelling air. "I wonder if Corus managed to arrive, or are we the first ones here," Loran said as he looked at the amazing building in front of them, made out of white bricks, tinted windows, and a strong roof.
"I can sense him, so probably."
"Let's go participate," Geia said. Beforehand, she had already researched the entire system of the Uea, the rules and the rooms, by using a Messenger Bird, since King Corusi commanded her to do it.
"Alright," Loran replied.
Finally, they went to the principal's office. Seeing someone walk out, they climbed down the stairs and entered the room. They saw Janto and Lucina there. Lucina adjusted her glasses before leaving. "Sorry, I'll leave you two with Janto, I have important work to do," Lucina said, as she thought after, 'The King told me that his son and his maid were coming here, I have to look professional!'
Lucina left the room with style, of course. She didn't want to be embarrassed by the King's royal rank. As she left the room, Janto immediately offered Geia and Loran to sit down on the soft, royal chairs, all in front of each other.
They sat down and Janto offered them some tea. Then Janto finally sat down in his seat and said, "So, you're the King's son and maid."
Geia replied, "What, that's all he said? What about the second prince that came here?"
Janto immediately laid his head down. "What do you mean? The King only told me about you two."
Geia sighed as she said, "Forget about it."
After a while of talking, Janto and Geia officially participated in the entrance exam. "Great working with you kids, and be safe on your way out." Both Loran and Geia nodded as they left the principal's office, climbing down the clean stairs once again, as they saw more people climbing up.
As Loran and Geia got down, they saw a familiar face walking together.
"Is that?" Geia said.
"Who I think it is," Loran said excitedly.
